TRAVEL ADVISORY
NY WORKS BRIDGE PROJECT GETS UNDERWAY ON STATE ROUTE 177 Please be advised that the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) is beginning work on the State Route 177 Bridge over the North Branch of Sandy Creek in the Town of Rodman, Jefferson County. Work will begin Monday, May 13 and is expected to be completed later this fall. Traffic on the bridge will be reduced to one lane and will be controlled by temporary signals. The work was funded through the NY Works program, which focuses on improving the condition of bridges to extend their service life. This rehabilitation work will better preserve the states infrastructure and guard against the need for more costly, in-depth construction. Please drive carefully through the many other highway and bridge construction zones encountered during this construction season. For real-time travel information, call 511 or visit www.511NY.org.
