Circus on Broken Boulevard

My aim is to deconstruct the American 'fog' & other fairy tales by offering a critical view of the actual state of thingsto reveal the true nature of human life stripped of pretenses that hide authentic feelings of loneliness, isolation & insecurity. Until recently, my work was exclusively done using gelatin silver, with images hand printed & toned in a traditional darkroom, sans digital alteration. I entered the digital arena with great reluctance, but Ive begun to form a dialog with it. Nonetheless, all images continue to be created without computer manipulation.
