BANDENGAN BEACH

Bandengan Beach or Tirta Samudra Beach is the famous beach in Jepara. The palace is very beautiful and romantic. People around Jepara, Kudus, Demak know this Palace. This palace is located 7 kilometers north of Jepara City Center. The way to get there is very easy. Just follow the traffic sign and you will find it. From the town square, follow the road to Bangsri then turn left when reached Kuwasen village. You can take public transportation or by your own vehicle. The white sandy beach which has pure water is good for swimming. The beach is save enough for swimming because the beach is shallow and the wave is not so big. This place is more beautiful at dusk. We can see the beautiful sun set with our family or friends. In the location, we can sit and relax on the shelter while enjoy the natural beach breezy wind. It also has large pandan tree field. It is suitable for young steer activities such as camping. If we want to sail, we can rent the traditional boat owned by local people. We can make voyage around the beach or we can go to Panjang Beach. Sometime we can find Banana boat and Jet Ski for rent. In this place we can find many traditional footstalls. We can order traditional foods sold by the trader such as roasted fish, crab, boiled shell. Pindang Srani is one of the delicious food enjoyed by the visitors. Come to Bandengan Beach and you will find paradise on the tips of Muria Peninsula.

TAJ MAHAL

Taj Mahal is regarded as one of the eight wonders of the world. It was built by a Muslim Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his dear wife at Agra. Taj Mahal is a Mausoleum that house the grave of Queen Mumtaz Mahal. The Mausoleum is a part of a vast complex comprising of a main gateway, an elaborate garden, a mosque (to the left), a guest house (to the right) and several other palatial buildings. The Taj is at the farthest and of this complex, with the river Jamuna behind it. The Taj stands on a raised, square platform (186 x 186 feet) with its four corners truncated, forming an unequal octagon. The architectural design uses the interlocking arabesque concept., in which each element stands on its own and perfectly integrates with the main structure. It uses the principles of self replicating geometry and a symmetry of architectural elements. Its a central dome is fifty eight feet in diameter and rises to a height of 213 feet. It is flanked by four subsidiary domed chamber and four adjoining chambers include many walls and panels of Islamic Decoration. Taj Mahal is built entirely of white marble. Its stunning architectural and beauty is beyond adequate description, particularly at dawn and sun set. The Taj seems to glow in the light of the full moon. On a foggy morning, the visitors experience the Taj as if suspended when viewed from across the Jamuna River.

SCHOOL LIBRARY

This is our library. It is quite large. There are two connected rooms here. The first room is for keeping the books and the second one is for reading. There are many books available there. They are arranged well on the selves. It is break time. The library is crowded. Some students are reading books. Some others are looking for the books. Student must have a member card to borrow books. They may choose the books by them selves then read them ini the library or take them home. When we find difficulties in finding the books, we can ask the librarian for help. The librarian is Ms. Li Sarinah. She is kind and very helpful. She often help us and serves us if we want to borrow books. The situation in the library is quite. The students must not make any noise there because it will disturb the others. Its really good place for reading or studying.

COCONUT

Coconut is a common name for the fruit of a tree of palm family. People usually call the tree coconut palm. Coconut palms roe well in tropical countries. They can grow up to 30 m high. They have a single cylindrical trunk. At the top up the trunk, there is a crown of leaves. The leaves are long. They are about 3 to 4,5 m long. The fruit grows in dusters. In one clusters there are about 10-20 coconuts. The fruit is oval and about 30 cm long. It has a thick husk and a hard shell. Inside the shell there is white oily meat. Inside the shell there is also a sweet fluid. Coconut palms are very useful plants. People can use every part of the tree in their lives. They dry the coconut meat into copra. After that they can get oil from it and use it in the daily cooking or make it into soaps or candles. People also use the trunks to build houses. For the roof, they dry the leaves. People can also make rope and doormats from the coconuts husk.
