Unit 1 Title: Lets Relax and Shape the World. Unit Question: How do humans use tools to shape our environment?

Requirements: In this task you will be expected to demonstrate real understanding of the History of Pottery and Ceramics. Based on your research create: A Poster that shows the History of Pottery and Ceramics. Ask yourself questions like: What is clay? When did they first create pots? What were these first pots used for? What do we use clay for now? How has man used clay to make life easier?

Advice:You will be able to research all of this data on line or in the library. Please do not copy and paste information from the internet I will know if you do this Format: The research project is to be presented on an A1 presentation board, the graphics and writing must be clearly visible, and should take a poster format. Grading: This will be part of your performance task grade for this quarter. Be as creative as you can. Rubric is on the other side.
