Vitera Intergy EHR | OB Chart

Experience Clinical Optimization with the Fully Integrated OB Chart

Integrated Electronic Prenatal Record and Risk Management System
At Vitera Healthcare Solutions we have been working with Obstetricians for several years to develop a solution that not only automates the patient record, but also provides advanced decision support for Obstetricians. The result of this effort is the Vitera Intergy EHR OB Chart, an electronic prenatal record and risk management system that is both separate and integrated with the patients electronic record.

Integrated Electronic Prenatal Record and Risk Management System

The OB Chart was designed with efficiency and flexibility in mind. During the initial visit, documentation by exception generates thorough documentation in minimal steps. For return visits, streamlined design documents necessary findings in mere seconds. Gestational age defaults and QuickText allow you to rapidly enter standard notes and specialized instructions. Once the patient data is in the system, youll be able to see the overall progress of the pregnancy with easy-to-read prenatal flowsheets, and instantly generate a comprehensive OB form for use in labor and delivery.

Manage Risk
The OB Chart can also assist in managing risk with several tools, the first of which is the automated determination of gestational age. The Risk Factors feature serves as an obstetrical problem list to track complications and trigger alerts based on gestational age or treatment guidelines defined for a condition. In addition, a Patient Education tool allows you to define and document educational material given and discussed during each trimester. Combined, these powerful decision support tools help you focus on patient care.

The Intergy EHR OB Chart gives OB/Gyn specialists the ability to chart womens health conditions like an abnormal PAP using customizable templates.

The Right Tools and the Right Information

During pregnancy, the prenatal record serves as the main area for clinical information. Laboratory results automatically populate prenatal lab flowsheets. Key ultrasound documentation and reference images are stored and reference to all pre-pregnancy medical information is a single click away. As the delivery date approaches, a delivery plan is quickly documented and stored in the chart. Efficient tools allow the documentation of delivery information including APGAR and extend to post partum physicals. In the end, all pre-pregnancy, prenatal, and post pregnancy care is automatically compiled into a comprehensive patient chart

Its a very smooth flow on the OB chart on the return prenatal visits; its a click of a button to get to the initial visit, to the medical history, to the labs. Its all integrated together there, its very easy to see when the labs are due, has somebody already had their lab done, have they had their RhoGAM shot. Its a very smooth system. Integrate Prenatal Record with Gynecological Record Improve the Speed and Accuracy of Documentation When a patient is registered as pregnant, a new prenatal record is created, the OB Chart. Within Intergy EHR, this is still integrated with the patients electronic record so that past information such as labs and medication history can be easily accessed. Quickly and thoroughly document all visits with a combination of fine-tuned visit templates and automated features. After recording positive or abnormal findings in the first visit, the rest of the template will automatically populate. For future visits, the system will automatically populate using defaults based on gestational age. Updates / changes can be made as needed based on new findings. The additional QuickText feature allows you to rapidly enter standard notes such as lab instructions, etc. Tracking prenatal care over multiple visits can be tedious. The prenatal flowsheet was developed by Obstetricians to show the progress of the pregnancy in a single view. The GA dating tool provides an instant summary of dating information including LMP, clinical exam, and ultrasound estimates. It allows you to see who made the latest assignment as well as update the EDD based on new data. The prenatal flowsheet immediately reflects the new gestational age once the EDD is changed. Risk management uses a four-fold approach via Gestational Age decision support, Risk Factor scoring and tracking, and a comprehensive patient education tool. Easily establish a list of topics for every trimester and patient condition and document the education provided during a visit rapidly, ensuring that the prenatal record reflects everything that was discussed. In addition, patient education topics can be accessed and printed for the patient to take home. Quickly document the delivery plan and store it as part of the patient chart. Easily document the delivery information including APGAR and document any postpartum follow up as well. The printed prenatal record from OB Chart surpasses other systems with a recognizable format that is acceptable to hospitals and other providers and includes ultrasound and risk management information.
