Missing Mom
I'm missing Mom... O, I know where we laid her Lost to death's final wager I'm missing Mom... 'Cause I can't be by her dear side Though her presence still abides I'm missing Mom... Even as she watches behind the veil Once a carpenter's cup now a holy grail I'm missing Mom... 'Cause she was my spiritual mentor Who graced life with a Christ center I'm missing Mom... 'Cause Mother's Day has drawn near And yellow roses still invoke lonely tears Yes... I'm missing Mom! Resting in peace for more than a decade For her a moment but for us a long parade Yes... I'm missing Mom!
