Business Process Procedure On Realignment

1. Configuration Documentation Realignment.

1.1 Use. Realignment functionality in SAP SCM DP provides an ability to quickly change (realign) existing Characteristic Value Combinations (CVCs) due to change in Business Situations as well as copying from existing CVCs for new products or new Locations.

In realignment you create new characteristic value combinations as copies of existing ones. The system then copies the data of all key figures to the new combination. We can decide whether predecessor data should be deleted or added to existing data. 1.2 Procedure Transaction code /SAPAPO/RLGCOPY Advanced Planning and Optimization -> Demand Planning -> Path Environment -> Data Administration Data Realignment.

Process -2 Realignment with Source Data Deletion.

Here, I am going to introduce a new product i.e. ZCPK_4 in Italy. Where ZCPK_3 is exists. Fig 1

In the above screen marked in blue is the OLD CVC. CPK_3 After realignment it will replaced by CPK_4

In the above pic. You can findout that there is no CVC for the product CPK_3 and it was deleted. Because we had flagged the check box in realignment table . The source was deleted. And it was replaced by NEW CVC i.e. CPK_4. Thats why its remains 21 CVCs in the list.
