PRODUCT INSTRUCTION

CK4L-3200 full-color LED video processor is a new product developed by Shenzhen Createk electronic Co., LTD., and it is designed to fulfill the requirement of LED video wall application, such as indoor and outdoor advertising display, concert hall, stage entertainment, etc.CK4L-3200 supports almost all kinds of signal input (for details please refer to the instruction of other related chapter), and the VGA and DVI (HDMI) interface output support up to 25 kinds of output resolution. CK4L-3200 can built-in two full color LED sending cards, and it more convenient for installation and maintenance ; What you see is what you get control software not need complex window preset operation; The preset 16 modes meet different applications needs, and also support mode cycle. There are four kinds of mode: 1. Normal mode: single window, all can freely switch between input signals. No transition effect when you switch to the next signal, and may have a small black screen. Implementation of VGA, DVI, HDMI three screen content interception of signals. Normal mode, the machine will recognize all of the supporting information such as the input signal resolution refresh rate and display it on the LCD. Triple window mode: In this mode, it can open two or three windows simultaneously, and realize picture in picture, picture out of picture and window overlaying etc. Window position and size can be set freely. Fade modes: It has single window and double window. In Single window Fade modes, all the signals can be seamless switch arbitrarily, and the switch time is optional. In double window fade modes, the Fade-in/fade-out effect only in the window A. At the moment, window B overlay on the window A. The signal source, size and position of window B are adjustable. Picture overlaying mode: In picture overlaying mode, the subtitles came from HDMI input signal. Through the panel buttons or control software, you can directly select the signal source of the subtitles. In this mode, the purely black part of the HDMI signal will display in the covered signal picture and then output after being filtered off (Currently this mode only supports HDMI input, and the background color of the input signal source is pure black).

It has 100 levels of output brightness, 0 is the lowest, and 100 is the highest. To
achieve an optimal output signal in grayscale. The normal setting is 50. 3Auto adjustment in VGA input (Auto) When you press the Auto button in VGA mode, the system will auto-adjust the signal parameters in order to obtain an optimal picture quality. The auto adjustment will only be

4.2 Setting of processor 4.2.1 Instruction of menu operation At normal status, pressmenubutton to enter into menu. In the main menu, select any item from 1 ~ 6 by pressing buttons. 4.3 Five kinds of mode 4.3.1 Normal mode In normal mode, the first line of LED real-time displays the currently-selected signal source. Aiming at signal source type, it displays the resolution, refresh rate, color system and other information of the signal source. The second line shows the size of current window of output picture. In normal mode, all of the signal source switch can realize by pressing front panel buttons (eight signal source buttons in total). When any signal source button is pressed, the output appears black screen for seconds, and then outputs the selected signal. 4.3.1.1 Open normal mode Method 1: After factory reset operation, the processor is in normal mode. (Not suggest using this method) Method 2: Close picture overlaying mode, fade-in/fade-out mode and triple windows mode simultaneously. 4.3.1.2 Settings of picture capture (need to operate in formal mode) When you just want to display a certain region of the input signal, you can use picture capture to clip contents of the signal source in pixel level. Picture capture function only available for VGA and DVI, HDMI signals. The steps of Setup picture capture region: Switch the signal source to any of VGA, DVI or HDMI. Open picture capture function. Setting of picture capture region need four parameters: width, height, horizontal start and vertical start. Here the "width" means capture how many pixels in a horizontal direction.

Setting steps: firstly, enter into Setting Menu. LCD at normal statusMenupress or to select menu item"4. window capture window capture " Enter .Then select parameters that need to adjust. Entering into submenu, the first item is O- resolution (output resolution selection). press or to select the resolution that you want(25 kinds in total). Then press Enter to confirm into effect. Enter into the "output Setup" interface, and press orto select submenu "b.H-W" (horizontal width)or "c.V-H" (vertical height)or "d.H-S "(horizontal start) or "e.V-S "(vertical start) .Press or to increase or decrease value of parameters. Adjust the value step by stepPressStpto switch among 110 or 100. Attentions: 1When Setting of window size and location, the four data need to meet two requirements: Horizontal start+ "horizontal width" can't exceed output resolution pixels in horizontal direction, "vertical start" + "vertical height" can't exceed output resolution pixels in vertical direction. For example: the resolution is 1024 * 768, the "horizontal start " + "horizontal width" cannot exceed 1024, and "vertical start" + "vertical height" can't exceed 768. 2When you adjust "horizontal start ", if the value can't continue to increase, you should decrease the "horizontal width"; When you adjust "horizontal width", if the value can't continue to increase, then decrease the "horizontal start" .Adjustment on vertical direction is the same as above 4.3.1.4 Exit normal mode. There is no item "exit normal mode" in menu. When you need to use other modes, open it directly and exit normal mode.

CK4L-3200 Instruction Manual 4.3.2 Single-picture fade-in/fade-out mode (Need to close picture overlaying mode first) In single-picture fade-in /fade-out mode, the processor just output any one signal and window. All input signals can realize seamless switching without black screen .There are four switching speed for selection. In this mode, pressing signal source button to select signal, the processor won't immediately output the signal, but to make output preparation. It won't output the signal until you press Take button . If the selected signal do not input, it will not conduct switch operation when you press the Take button, and the LCD panel displays "no signal input". 4.3.2.1 Entering into single-picture fade-in/fade-out mode LCD at normal statusMenupress orto select menu item "2. Fade set(Fade-in/fade-out setup)" (The left side has triangle indicator) Enter (Need to close picture overlaying mode first) press or to select sub-menu a, fade setup(fade-in/fade-out setup) press or button to select single. Then it enters into single-picture fade-in/fade-out mode. 4.3.2.2 Setting of switching speed In this mode, you can set fade-in/fade-out switching time. The operation method is as follows: LCD at normal statusMenupress or to select Menu item "2. Fade set(Fade-in/fade-out setup)" (The left side has triangle indicator) Enter press or to select sub-menu b, fade time press or button to select 0s/1s/2s/3s. Then the setting takes into effect. 4.3.2.3 Settings of window size and location In this mode, window size setting is not available .You should set it in normal mode. The operation method is as follows: Enter into normal mode, and adjust the window size and location. Reentering into this mode, it will keep the window size, location and resolution settings in normal mode. (Please refer to foregoing content) 4.3.2.4 Setting of picture capturing In this mode, picture capturing is not available. You should set it in normal mode. The operation method is as follows: Enter into normal mode and adjust the capture region. Then re-enter into this mode, it will keep the capture region setting in normal mode. (Please refer to foregoing content) 4.3.2.5 Exit single picture fade-in/fade-out mode LCD at normal statusMenupress orto select menu item "2. CK4L-3200 Instruction Manual 4.3.3 Double pictures fade-in/fade-out mode In double-windows fade-in/fade-out mode, the processor outputs two Windows, which are named picture A and picture B. Picture B overlays on picture A, and its position, size and signal source are optional. The seamless switching only for picture A, and the switching method is the same as single picture fade-in/fade-out mode. Press signal source selection button to select the signal that want to display and then press Take . In the operation process, the picture B will not change

CK4L-3200 Instruction Manual 4.3.4 Triple windows mode (need to close fade-in/fade-out mode and picture overlaying mode first) Processor can open two windows or three for output in triple windows mode. The three windows named window A, B, and C. From the lower to the upper, the window overlaying order are window A, C, and B. Press signal source button to select signal source of window A. For window A, settings of window size and content are the same as in normal mode. And for window B and C, signal source selection, window size and position all need to set in menu. When selecting signal source, the window will have no signal output for a short time(less than 3 s). 4.3.4.1 Enter into triple windows mode LCD at normal statusMenupress orto select menu item 3.3 Windows se (Triple windows setup) press or to select sub-menu a. status press or button to select B -op (B open)/C- op (C open)/BC -op (BC open). You can only open the window that need to display. 4.3.4.2 Selection of window A signal source when select signal source for window A, if window C open, optional signal sources for window A relevant to display signal of window C: the display signal of window A is not the same as window C. when window C shows a certain channel AV signal, window A can select: VGA, YPbPr, DVI, HDMI, SDI; When window C shows VGA or YPbPr, window A can select: AV1, AV2, AV3, DVI, HDMI, SDI; When window C shows DVI or HDMI, window A can select: AV1, AV2, AV3, VGA, YPbPr, SDI. 4.3.4.3 Sections of window B and window C signal source LCD at normal statusMenupress orto select Menu item 3.3 windows se(Triple windows setup) press or to select the signal want to display. Optional signal source for window B: AV1, AV2, AV3, VGA, YPbPr, HDMI. Optional signal source 0f window C relevant to display signal of window C: the display signal of window A is not the same as window C. When window A shows a certain channel AV signal, window C can select: VGA, YPbPr, DVI, HDMI, SDI; When window A shows VGA or YPbPr, window C can select: AV1AV2AV3DVI HDMISDI; When window A shows DVI or HDMI , window C can select :AV1AV2AV3VGA YPbPrSDI signal; If you want to display AV signal on window C but the signal displayed on window A, you can switch window A signal to DVI1. Then select AV signal for window C. Through the panel buttons or control software, you can directly select the signal sources of the subtitles. When the picture overlaying mode is open, the purely black part of the HDMI signal will replaced by selected signal and then for output. 4.3.5.1 Open picture overlaying mode LCD at normal status Menu press or to select Menu item 5. others setup press or to select the submenu e. P-overlaying press or to select on. 4.3.5.2 Setting of signal source Press the panel buttons to select signal source. Optional signal sources: AV1, AV2, AV3, VGA, YPbPr, DVI, SDI. 4.3.5.3 Settings of window size and position In this mode, Setting of window size is not available and need switch to normal mode to set. The operation method is as follows: enter into normal mode, and then adjust window size and location. Reentering into this mode, it will keep the window size, location and resolution in normal mode. (Please refer to foregoing content) Setting of picture capture , In this mode, setting of picture capture is not available and need switch to normal mode to set. The operation method is as follows: enter into normal mode and adjust capture region. Then reentering into this mode, it will keep the window size, location and resolution in normal mode. (Please refer to foregoing content) 4.3.5.4 Exit picture overlaying mode LCD at normal statusMenupress or to select Menu item 5. others setup Enter press or to select the submenu e. P- overlaying(picture overlaying) press or to select off.Then go back to normal mode.

4.4.2 Picture mode LCD at normal status Menu press or to select Menu item 5. others setup Enterpress or to select the submenu a. Only in user mode, can you enter into submenu "b. user defined" to adjust brightness, contrast, saturation, sharpness and gamma value arbitrarily (generally select 1.2).

INTRODUCTION OF CK4L3200 CONTROL SOFTWARE

5.1 How to install the control software CK4L-3200 full-color LED video processor adopts user-friendly design. Its control software requires no installation and the volume is small. The root folder includes following files, you can copy it to any place of the control computer and then double-click it to execute file program. It saves tedious software installation steps and time. Even computer entry-level users can operate it quickly and easily.

Program operating environment: CPU: more than P4 Memory: more than 512M Hard disk: more than 40G. (1) en-US sub-file: Full color LED image processor 3200. resources.dll, lack of the file will not be able to use English language; (2) dmdll.dll:Application configuration file (3) dmdll_multi.dllApplication configuration file (4) This is a mode storage file, and pre-set 16 kinds of mode information. (5) 3200.exeDouble click the file to operate control software. (6) 3200. exe.config: Some necessary configurations for software control. Attention: the above six files are all necessary to guarantee the control software operation, and they all need to be in the same file .please do not alter the file, Otherwise it will cause software abnormal use.

5.2 How to open the control software 1 Open the software and connect Double-click3200. Exeto open the control software interface, as shown in the figure below: Double-clicking 3200. Exe, you can select COM(communication port )and Baud (baud rate), as shown in the figure below:

As the picture above shows ,select serial port number and baud rate , then click the connect button. If the serial port is already occupied or the connection in abnormal condition, it would pop-up prompt message as shown in the picture below:

2 Open the control software After normal connection, open the software as shown below:

5.3.2 Black screen mode After Clicking , other function buttons of software are not available and to exit black screen mode.

The software can automatically search the connected screen IP address, and click the connect button to realize screen communication. clicking search and connect button when there is no connected device or in abnormal connection , it will pop up the following prompt message:

5.3.5 Output resolution

5.3.6 Picture capture

setting of the three signals are synchronous, but each window captures picture separately. Click the corresponding A, B and C to capture the corresponding window content. Click button (back) to return to the main interface.

5.3.10 Window Operation

CK4L-3200 Instruction Manual 5.3.10.1 Adjustment of the window position and size Left click the mouse, and then drag it to the size you want; moving the mouse to the windows right /bottom or right-bottom corner, you can adjust the window size when the mouse changes to a two-way arrow. In addition, you still can input accurate value in coordinates(coordinates operation) 5.3.10.2 Switching signals Click the right mouse button and select input signal in the secondary menu ofsignal select(signal selection);

Attention: In different modes, selections of input signal are not the same, for details please refer to other relevant chapters. 5.3.10.3 Image parameters SelectingImage Property(Image parameters)in right-mouse menu, it will pops up adjustment options. The system has three kinds of default mode: normal, soft and brightness. In user mode, the user can customize parameters as desired.

Corresponding to the open and close of window A ,B ,C 5.3.11 Mode operation 5.3.11.1 Mode recall Click a number from 1~16, and it will directly recall the window mode that has been preset. If do not preset any mode, you click a number button and it would appear prompt message as shown in picture below:

5.3.11.2 Mode save Pressing on Ctrl button in keyboard , then use the mouse to click a number from 1 ~ 16 in number area . And the current window mode has saved in the number button. If a number button does not preset or has saved a mode, you click the button and it would appear prompt message as shown in picture below:

The Save Mode list all saved modes. Double click a mode to add it to cycle list, and then set cycle interval time. Finally clickingstartbutton, and it would begin mode cycle.

5.3.12 Notices of software use 1) In picture overlaying mode, mode selection in menu are not available. You need to close this mode first. 2)In black mode, other button selections are not available. 3) In picture overlaying mode and fade in/fadeout mode, mode save and recall function are not available. 4) Only in fade in/fade out mode to clicktakebutton, can realize signal pre-select.

BUILT-IN SENDING CARD

The user can put the sending card in CK4L-3200 case, and not need to external full-color LED screen controller. Loose the screw and take out the metal plate. Connect the sending card to the interface

CK4L-3200 Instruction Manual of the metal plate and insert it back to the case. Notice: make sure the sending card is connected to the PCI slot (white in color) which inside the case tightly. If sending card needs the internal voltage supply, just connect to the power socket provided inside the case. If sending card needs an external voltage supply, a 5V power outlet is provided on the rear side of the case.

1) Can not operate 3200.exeapplication Possible reason: Operating system software that control the computer without a corresponding program. Solutions:Download and install Microsofts related program dotNetFX35setup.exe.

Notice: To download the program in Microsoft's official website, or install the program from CD in processor. CD installation procedures are as follows:

Open the relevant software file, and double click "dotnetfx35.Exe" to operate.

If the computer is connected to the Internet, the program will download installation data from the network automatically, as shown in the following figure (1). If the computer is not connected to the Internet, it will shows installation status as shown in the following figure (2). Whether the computer is connected to Internet, the data download processes will achieve;

2) Serial port operation failure, can not to control processor Possible reasons: A Control software doesn't open serial port; B Serial port has been damaged; C The serial port that adopts USB switch to RS232 is not installed properly; Solutions: A Check the serial port connection status; B Change serial port connection cable or main control device; C Install device (USB switch to RS232) properly; 3) Picture without display

CK4L-3200 Instruction Manual Possible reasons: A No signal input; B Signal channel switching errors, such as input VGA signal, but the channel selects AV; C Reversed connection of VGA input and VGA output; D The display device do not adjust input channel. Need to adjust the mode to VGA or DVI; E Black screen mode has been opened; F Output VGA or DVI line has been damaged. Solutions: A To check whether the input signal source is normal; (To detect by connecting the input signal source to the display device directly) B To confirm whether AV/VGA/DVI/YPbPr channel input are normal; using control software or front panel buttons to detect channel switching; C To confirm the output of the processor connected to the display device properly, and the input signal is connected properly. D To adjust status of display device, for more specific operations please refer to display device specification; E To adjust the content of the output signal, and suggest adopts dynamic picture for output rather than monochrome picture; F To confirm whether the black screen mode has been opened; G Using good quality VGA line or DVI line to ensures image stability and quality. 4) The picture displays partial color Possible reasons: A VGA or DVI port not connected well, bad contacts; B VGA or DVI line has been damaged; C Color adjustment is not correct; D Excessive toning by control software; Solutions: A After VGA or DVI line is connected, please tightening the fixed bolt of joint to prevent the loose result of pulling; B Replace good quality VGA or DVI line; C Please refer to specification to adjust color balance; D Via the control software to readjustment color and white balance; E If the input signal is VGA, please do ADC correction for it; the operation method are as follows:
