STEP Pre- Writing

CONTENT 1. Teacher reviews the rules in the school and the classroom. Teacher writes the pupils answer on the blackboard. E.g. Please Keep Quiet Keep Our Class Clean 1. Teacher displays the pictures of the park and asks the pupils to discuss what they dos and donts at the park in group. 2. Then, teacher asks the leader of each group to present the rules in the park in front of the class. Teachers write down the rules on the blackboard. 3. Teacher puts the picture of the school rules around the classroom. 4. Teacher flips the instructional phrases on the table and asks the pupils to read the phrases and try to match to the pictures. 5. Guided Writing Teacher asks the pupils to complete the rules. ( Text Book pg 15)
1. Teacher distributes a worksheet to each pupil. Teacher instructs the pupils to complete the rules according to the pictures. e.g.

1. Teacher reviews the rules in the school and the classroom. 2. Teacher recites the jazz chants and pupils listen. 3. Pupils recite the chant by paragraph. Teacher draws the attention of the pupils pronunciation, rhythm and intonation. 4. Teacher divides pupils to two groups. First group recite the chants while the second group do the action. 5. Next, teacher shows the sample poster of the classrooms rules. 6. Pupils make their own poster with guidance. 7. Teacher shows the posters to the class and gives reward to the best posters.
