FOUNDER, TEACHERS WITHOUT BORDERS: SEATTLE, WA 2000 TO PRESENT

Conceived and developed a non-profit global teacher professional development organization, with membership today in 184 countries; developed one of the first collaborative open-source toolsets; created Certificate of Teaching Mastery and Emergency Education programs; raised over $4.7 million in grants for teacher development.
PRINCIPAL, HELEN BUSH SCHOOL: SEATTLE, WA 1994 TO 2000

Independent, K-2 school. Increased admissions to the high school by 28%; spearheaded successful capital campaign for math-science wing; co-founded the Multicultural Alliance (devoted to support for teachers of color).
