UDP mode Counter-communication test by the UDP protocol without error control In both TCP and UDP modes, when the receive ECR (a=2 below) receives the data normally, the test checks the received data, reverses the received data (FBh -10h, 00h, FFh-00h), and sends back the data to the send ECR (a=1). The send ECR checks the reversed data (The same repeats hereinafter). Also, when the receive ECR (a=4) receives the data normally, the test checks only the received data. The send ECR (a=3) waits for one second and starts sending data again (the same repeats hereinafter). [Operation] * Once an ID is set, make sure to perform the test using this ID. A value which is not in this effective range will be changed to 1, and converted as follows. The upper part of the IP address is fixed as "192.168.0", and the last address is the ID. Example: ID=1 IP address = 192.168.0.1, ID=9 IP address = 192.168.0.9 The ID is always 192.168.1.10 in the receive mode. The send mode sends data to this fixed 192.168.0.10. [LCD]

[ 19 ] MAC Address SET [Function] This test will write the MAC address. [Operation] * Once an ID is set, make sure to perform the test using this ID. When changing the ID, turn the power on again. x 0 9 5 1 ST
x : Writing the address 0: Writes a consecutive address based on MAC address in CF * Example The following ASCII data is written in "MACADR.TXT" in CF. "FF8048FF9800" The test writes "FF8048FF9801", which is "1+ the above value", into E2PPROM, and then writes the same value into CF. 1: Writes the address by manually writing the MAC address In the manual input mode, the test enters the wait mode for the input of MAC address. The address can be inputted in 8 bit. Inputting three-digit decimal and the [ST] key determines 8 bits. Performing this operation for 48 bits (6 times) inputs a 48-bit address, and the sixth input of [ST] writes the address. The address inputted in the number display position in 8 bit is then displayed in hexadecimal. The inputted address is cleared by the input of [CLEAR]. The test ends without writing an address by the input of [ESC]. * when writing MAC address "FF8048FF9800" After entering the manual writing mode, the above address can be written by the input of the following: numbers "255" + [ST] "128" + [ST] "072" + [ST] "255" + [ST] "152" + [ST] "000" + [ST] . 4 Description of Errors (1) Semaphore acquisition error Error No. -1 / -4 / -6 Description of phenomenon: This is a system error in ITRON. This phenomenon may occur when the exclusion function of ITRON is used. Possible causes: A software bug or an illegal operation of ITRON. (2) Mailbox creation error Error No. -2 / -3 / -5 / -7 / -21 Description of phenomenon: This is a system error in ITRON. This phenomenon may occur when a function of ITRON called Mailbox is used. Possible causes: A software bug or an illegal operation of ITRON. (3) Mailbox send error Error No. -20 Description of phenomenon: This is a system error in ITRON. This phenomenon may occur when a function of ITRON called Mailbox is used. Possible causes: A software bug or an illegal operation of ITRON. (4) System error when returning unused memory (memory pool) area Error No. -8 / -9 / -10 / -11 / -12 / -13 Description of phenomenon: This is a system error in ITRON. This phenomenon may occur when ITRON frees the reserved memory area. This phenomenon may occur when the memory management system of ITRON is used. Possible causes: An abnormality of a memory chip, an illegal operation of ITRON, or a software bug.
88
2 error point: Indicates the point on the memory where the operation instruction that causes the above general exception is located (program counter). However, an illegal address may be displayed depending on the exception code. 3 access adrs: Indicates the address that is accessed according to the operation instruction that causes the above general exception. However, the address is 0 (zero) and has no meaning if the access is not the cause. 4 Error Code Correspondence Table
error no. 40 60 80 A0 C0 E0 100 180 1A0 error point Location where error occurs Location where error occurs Location where error occurs Location where error occurs Location where error occurs Location where error occurs Location where error occurs Location where error occurs Location where error occurs access adrs Logical address of comparison source Logical address of error source Logical address of error source Logical address of error source Logical address of error source Address of read destination Address of write destination 0 0 Description of error TLB address comparison results in address mismatch TLB entry is invalid Initial page write exception TLB protection exception (read) TLB protection exception (write) CPU address error (read) CPU address error (write) Reservation instruction code exception Slot illegal instruction exception
5 Causes of error occurrence (1) error no. 40: TLB address comparison results in address mismatch (2) error no. 60: TLB entry is invalid Description of phenomenon: The CPU performs a conversion from logical address to physical address when accessing the external memory. TLB is what caches that information. If an error occurs in the process of the caching, a general exception of the CPU occurs. Possible causes: A malfunction of the CPU, because this is an internal operation of the CPU. (3) error no. 80: Initial page write exception Description of phenomenon: This exception occurs if the address conversion table of the above TLB is illegally written. Possible causes: A malfunction of the CPU, because this is an internal operation of the CPU. (4) error no. A0: TLB protection exception (read) (5) error no. C0: TLB protection exception (write) Description of phenomenon: TLB is protected by setting access right. An access that violates the access right causes one of these exceptions to occur. Possible causes: A malfunction of the CPU, because this is an internal operation of the CPU. (6) error no. E0: CPU address error (read) (7) error no. 100: CPU address error (write) Description of phenomenon: This exception occurs if an illegal address is accessed (read or written). Possible causes: An illegal address is accessed by software (a software bug). The address to be accessed has changed due to insufficient charge of the backup battery for RAM.
89
(8) error no. 180: Reservation instruction code exception (9) error no. 1A0: Slot illegal instruction exception Description of phenomenon: These exceptions occur when an illegal instruction is performed. Possible causes: It is hard to think that this phenomenon is caused by software, because these errors occur due to an internal operation of the CPU. This phenomenon is apt to occur when backup of RAM is not performed normally and the memory has been changed. It is possible that the data in RAM has become illegal data.
