And This Is That Spirit Of Antichrist

Let's here the words of an anonymous Catholic about the Godhead. "And what of the Spirit? Jesus said in John 14:16-17 that the Father would send another (Greek - allos) comforter. Jesus had been the Comforter for the disciples during His earthly ministry, but He was about to leave them and return to heaven where he had been before (John 17:5). The Holy Spirit, identified as a Person by John (through his usage of the masculine ekeinos at John 16:13), is sent both by the Father (John 14:16) as well as by the Son (16:7).[9] The Spirit is not identified as the Father, nor as the Son, for neither could send Himself." Here we have Trinitarians in full denial of specifically stated scripture. 2 Cor 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? Col 1:26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: 27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Rom 8:9 Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 2 Cor 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. Thus Trinitarians have received both another Christ, and another Spirit from Jesus Christ!

For it is written: Acts 2:16 by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: Who is this Spirit? 2 Cor 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: Is the Lord Jesus really the Spirit whom was to be poured out on all flesh, as Joel prophesied? 2 Cor 4:11 For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. 12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you. Who is this life? John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: Col 1:26 the mystery which hath been hid but now is made manifest to his saints: 27 is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Col 3:11 Christ is all, and in all. Eph 5:25 Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it 27 That he might present it to himself 28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: 30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 2 Cor 11:2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. Does Jesus Himself really come into His body, His flesh, His church? 2 Cor 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? 1 John 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus

Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist,

Some have tried to say that this just meant Jesus came in the flesh, past tense. But that cannot be so. For devils did confess that Jesus came in the flesh back then Luke 4:33 a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice, 34 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God. 35 And Jesus rebuked him, 41 And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ. Some would like to say that 1 John 4:2-3 was merely combating gnosticism. But that interpretation also does not take into account the absolutely clear present tense of the meaning "is come." That Greek word is "elhluqota." This precise, particular word is found in only one other place in the New Testament ScriptureActs 18:1 Paul departed from Athens, and came to Corinth; 2 And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately "come" (elhluqota) from Italy, with his wife Priscilla and came unto them. 3 And he abode with them, and wrought... Not lately "left" and gone from Italy. Not lately "come and gone" from Corinth. Will any contend that Paul came to, and abode with, Aquila after Aquila left Corinth rather than while he, present tense, "was come"? For John wrote his epistle well after Jesus had come and gone, and John says Jesus "is come in the flesh," just as Aquila was "come," and who therefore, can possibly, reasonably contend otherwise? For Jesus Himself said John 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. It is a simple matter of fact that John, in 1 John 4:2-3, could have used any of many Greek word forms except "elhluqota" if he wanted to declare that Jesus had come in the flesh in the past tense. But he didn't. John said "is come," present tense, in the flesh. Here and now. This present tense of Jesus, being "is come," can be shown even more emphatically and

irrefutably, through another Greek word "ercomenon" found in 2 John 7 2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come (ercomenon) in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. This particular word "ercomenon" is found in many passages, but it is never found in the past tense. Here are some examples of "ercomenon" Matthew 3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting (ercomenon) upon him: Does anyone wish to prove that Jesus saw the Spirit descending after it had come and gone? No? Then John says deceivers and anti-christ confess not that Jesus Christ "is come," present tense, in the flesh, and who will deny it, or try to disprove it, contending, rather, that they are separate or distinct "persons"? Trinitarians. Matthew 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven and they shall see the Son of man coming (ercomenon) in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Does anyone wish to prove that they see the Son of man coming in the clouds after he has come and gone? No? Then John says deceivers and anti-christ confess not that Jesus Christ "is come," present tense, in the flesh, and who will deny it, or try to disprove it? Trinitarians. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh (ercomenon) to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Does anyone wish to prove that we have faith in God after we have come to, and left God? No? Then John says deceivers and anti-christ confess not that Jesus Christ "is come," present tense, in the flesh, and who will deny it, or try to disprove it? Trinitarians. Every example of ercomenon is only present tense. Never past tense. For other occurrences of ercomenon, see Mat. 16:28, 26:64; Mark 13:26, 14:62, 15:21; Luke 21:27; John 1:9, 1:29, 1:47, 6:37, 10:12; Acts 19:4, and Hebrews 6:7. Now ask yourself this... How does God's word declare, perceive, and describe this union of Christ, Himself, as being "is come" in his church? Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: 30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. Trinitarians, will you deny that "we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones"? John 3:28 (John Baptist) said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him. 29 He that hath the bride is the bridegroom:

2 Cor 11:2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. Trinitarians, will you deny that we have been "espoused... to one husband... to Christ"? 1 Cor 6:15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. 16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. 17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. 16 What? know ye not that HE WHICH IS JOINED TO AN HARLOT IS ONE BODY? FOR TWO, SAITH HE, SHALL BE ONE FLESH. 17 But HE THAT IS JOINED UNTO THE LORD IS ONE SPIRIT... 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 1 Cor 12:11 But all these worketh that one and the SELFSAME Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. 12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. Ephesians 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism In this light, consider the Trinity doctrine of "Distinct Persons." What else but a harlot do you call a "bride" who freely, admittedly, and unashamedly (dare I say also proudly, unabashedly, even determinedly), gives over the temple of her body, her flesh, to a be joined in one flesh to "Distinct Persons" from the "one husband" to whom even she herself claims to be espoused?

What does the Roman Catholic church "confess?" Has she remained faithful to her "one husband." "The Spirit is not identified as the Father, nor as the Son..." If not the bridegroom, who then is come unto the body, the flesh of the bride, which belongs to the groom, being bought and paid for by His own life's blood? To the Trinitarians, by their own admission and confession, it is a "Distinct Person" who has come unto them. Ezekiel 16:35 Wherefore, O harlot, hear the word of the LORD: 36 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thy filthiness was poured out, and thy nakedness discovered through thy whoredoms with thy lovers, and with all the idols of thy abominations, and by the blood

of thy children, which thou didst give unto them; Rev 17:1 Come hither; I will show unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: 2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. 5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. 6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: Rev 17:9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. Rev 17:15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues Rev 17:18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

Rev 2:21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. 22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. 23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: And what of her (Roman Catholicism's) daughters? The Protestants. Is it Jesus, our "one husband" who "is come in the flesh" of the Protestants? Or have they taken "Distinct Persons" as their "lovers" also? "We teach there is one God manifest in three persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost... Individually each is called God; collectively they can be spoken of as one God because of their perfect unity... However, there are some particulars which relate to each individual person of the deity as to position, office, and work that could not be attributed to either of the other members of the Godhead". from "The Error of the 'Jesus Only' Doctrine" by Jimmy Swaggart. "From heaven Jesus still exercises lordship over us, but, not being physically with us now, He transmits His directions by means of the Holy Spirit who makes Christ real to us." -from "The Holy Spirit" by Billy Graham. Are these not perfectly good examples of flat denial of the fact "that Jesus Christ is

come in the flesh" and rather a confession to the exact opposite? 1 John 4:2 Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth NOT that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is NOT of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, Ezekiel 16:44 Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall use this proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter. 45 Thou art thy mother's daughter, that loatheth her husband Are not Trinitarians proud of themselves, and defendant of their position over this very same thing as harlotry? What other nature could it be in them, who call themselves the bride of Christ, yet they open their hearts, their minds, their souls, and even the temples of their bodies, to "Distinct Persons" from their "one husband" to whom they claim to have been espoused? Can there be much more of a worthless and empty confession? Jeremiah 3:1 They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man's, shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? And they say that the Oneness doctrine has problems! Jeremiah 3:1 thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the LORD. 2 Cor 11:2 for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. Mark 12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: 30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

2 Cor 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh 2 John 1:7 many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

2 Cor 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? 1 Cor 6:15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. Ephesians 5:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 1 John 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: AND THIS IS THAT SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST.
