Our supply chain Consultants help leading companies in optimizing business performance across the supply chain enterprise. Working as part of the client's team, they achieve operational objectives, buil d internal capabilities, and transfer supply chain knowledge. Proven expertise in Procurement and Supply Chain Management within leading globa l and national organizations. Key responsibilities may include: Collaboration with the business team on full-cycle Procure to Pay initiatives, in cluding: evaluation and selection of suppliers, market analysis, P.O. input, fi nancial reconciliation, verification and measurement of key metrics, contract de velopment and negotiation. Create, place, monitor and manage reconciliation of purchase orders. Communicate with suppliers to resolve issues and escalate as necessary. Monitor product life cycles and appropriately classify inventory. Alert the appr opriate team members to any actionable inventory needs. Support the product development process, when appropriate. Regularly analyze vendor production plans to ensure support of supply requirement s. Prepare weekly/monthly performance metrics for management, identifying issues and recommending corrective action. Analyze supplier spend data and support cost reduction initiatives. Lead and/or support process and system improvements. Proactively support any other special projects or assignments as requested by man agement. Professional Qualifications: Qualified candidates will show all or a strong combination of the following: 7+ years of Supply Chain experience Strong, current knowledge and hands-on tactical expereince with SAP Previous expereince with a national or global corporation E-procurement experience including Ariba is highly desirable Demonstrated understanding of the strategic sourcing process and best in class pu rchasing practices Strong analytical skills (complex MS Excel formulas, pivot tables, etc.) Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Demonstrated strong interpersonal, oral, written communication and team building skills Comfort working "hands-on" in a fast paced, high pressure environment Must possess and demonstrate a strong detail orientation and a focus on work accu racy. Previous Big 4 consulting experience is a plus Completion of C.P.M. certification is desirable Our Consultants enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to choose the client projects
