The fact that a believer is happier than a sceptic is no more to the point than the fact that a drunken man is happier than a sober one. The happiness of credulity is a cheap and dangerous quality. He who says "The United States is a Christian nation founded upon Christian principles and beliefs" is woefully ignorant of history. The United States was founded by Deists, and the puritan settlers were but one immigrant group among many. If I got a special power for every dead baby I wish I could have saved, I'd be God... But I guess it doesn't matter since if I was God, I wouldn't bother saving babies' lives anyway. The nazis slaughtered millions because they dehumanized their victims... but when it comes to dehumanizing victims the most useful and most widely used tool throughout history is, of course, religion. The most important questions a human can ever ask must surely deserve the most convincing answers, not simply the most comforting? A man's ethical behavior should be based effectually on sympathy, education, and social ties; no religious basis is necessary. Man would indeed be in a poor way if he had to be restrained by fear of punishment and hope of reward after death Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe. Why do you write to me "God should punish the English"? I have no close connection to either one or the other. I see only with deep regret that God punishes so many of His children for their numerous stupidities, for which only He Himself can be held Since our inner experiences consist of reproductions, and combinations of sensory impressions, the concept of a soul without a body seem to me to be empty and devoid of meaning The contemplation of this world beckoned as a liberation (...) If God were suddenly condemned to live the life which He has inflicted upon men, He would kill Himself. What is god actually doing to help innocent babies that are dying slow, painful deaths? He's busy working in mysterious ways no doubt... No wonder religion is popular. It's the only pretending game adults can play and expect to get taken seriously by other adults... Well, at least by other adults who like pretending too. Belief might "soften the hardships" and offer "consolation" but that doesn't mean there is a God. Religion is wishful thinking. Give me reality, warts and all, and I'll cope with it using reason and logic NOT delusion. If I had your imaginary god's powers... I couldn't care less if anyone worshipped me or how they lived (as long as they were good to others) I'd be more worried about innocent children and babies suffering. The idiots killing people in Mumbai honestly think they're going to heaven for it... while the relatives of the victims console themselves their loved ones are going to heaven... and the truth is they're all just dead. Ain't religion great? Religion is a bit like porn: You know deep down it's all lies but still buy it. It's a multi-billion dollar industry making a few people very rich. It distorts reality, inciting desires it never satisfies. AND the scripts it's based on are always crap... Pray, v.: To ask that the laws of the universe be annulled on behalf of a single petitioner confessedly unworthy. Religion, n: A daughter of Hope and Fear, explaining to Ignorance the nature of the Unknowable. Religions are conclusions for which the facts of nature supply no major premises If I wanted to spend my life believing in something - it would be myself. you could spend a lifetime studying a religion, study two and you will be done within the hour. Eskimo: "If I did not know about God and sin, would I go to hell?" Priest: "No, not if you did not know." Eskimo: "Then why did you tell me?" No philosophy, no religion, has ever brought so glad a message to the world as this good news of Atheism. Philosophy is questions that may never be answered. Religion is answers that may never be questioned. Since the Bible and the church are obviously mistaken in telling us where we came from, how can we trust them to tell us where we are going? Religion has caused more misery to all of mankind in every stage of human history than any other single idea. A believer states everything must have a creator but fail to say how he was created. If all the Christians who have called other Christians not really a Christian were to vanish, thered be no Christians left. Absolute faith corrupts as absolutely as absolute power but absolute power is corrupt only in the hands of the absolutely faithful. I have no need for religion, I have a conscience. The finality of death is the coldest truth one must face. Religion makes the perfect distraction. Atheists will celebrate life, while youre in church celebrating death. Most religions prophecy the end of the world and then consistently work together to ensure that these prophecies come true. Jesus hardly made the greatest sacrifice. He knew he would be resurrected anyway. Religions are like pills, which must be swallowed whole without chewing. The Bible - A Fairytale book of rules brainwashing millions. Obliviously used to help create war, kill, hate, judge and discriminate. I would rather die than to follow the orders of a sexist, intolerant, homophobic, violent old man. I would defend the liberty of consenting adult creationists to practice whatever intellectual perversions they like in the privacy of their own homes; but it is also necessary to protect the young and innocent. I wonder who got the shit job of scouring the planet for the 15000 species of butterfly or the 8800 species of ant they eventually took on board Noahs Ark. But at least we got that magical rainbow for all their trouble. Why is everyone so in touch with God so out-of-touch with the truth? If the bible is to be taken literally. then Be fruitful and multiply refers to homosexual mathematicians. Finding direction in your life by subscribing to the existence of an entity you can't see. That just seems a bit counterintuitive. Religion is man-made to assist in controlling the weak minded individuals because during times of atrocity and despair they feel strength in numbers The way to see by faith is to shut the eye of reason

Anyone who engages in the practice of psycho-therapy confronts every day the devastation wrought by the teachings of religion. Religion is the leading cause of death throughout history. The World is divided into armed camps ready to commit genocide just because we can't agree on whose fairy tales to believe. Hell would be to have to spend eternity in a Heaven with those who are sure they are going there. The most common explanation given for death and destruction attributed to "Acts of God" is that God is unknowable and beyond human understanding. That also happens to be the very best description there is for what does not exist. I am patient with stupidity, but not with those who are proud of it. Belief in the supernatural reflects a failure of the imagination. Did God make cancer? Malaria? Natural disasters? Wow! He makes Hitler look like Mother Theresa! Why isn't god as sociable as he used to be in the bible. I mean back then he used to show up for every genocide and baby massacre. Then I realised that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me. Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? If there is a god religion is his greatest joke Religion serves men as blinders serve horses. A great line from the only decent religious movie ever made: "I'm Brian and so is my wife" Theists, just think about it: If YOU had the power to make the universe in a few hours, would YOU let babies die of hunger and disease? Any answers that aren't vague, evasive theological nonsense would be appreciated. And on the trillionth day God destroyed man, and He saw that it was good. The church says the earth is flat, but I know that it is round, for I have seen the shadow on the moon, and I have more faith in a shadow than in the church "A fanatic is a man who does what he thinks the Lord would do if He knew the facts of the case." Atheism leaves a man to sense, to philosophy, to natural piety, to laws, to reputation; all of which may be guides to an outward moral virtue, even if religion vanished; but religious superstition dismounts all these and erects an absolute monarchy in the minds of men. I believe in God, only I spell it Nature. -

The essence of Christianity is told us in the Garden of Eden history. The fruit that was forbidden was on the tree of knowledge. The subtext is, All the suffering you have is because you wanted to find out what was going on. If you wind up with a boring, miserable life because you listened to your mom, your dad, your teacher, your priest or some guy on TV telling you how to do your shit, then YOU DESERVE IT. "Children are nave -- they trust everyone. School is bad enough, but, if you put a child anywhere in the vicinity of a church, you're asking for trouble." Scientology, how about that? You hold on to the tin cans and then this guy asks you a bunch of questions, and if you pay enough money you get to join the master race. How's that for a religion? A mind is like a parachute. It doesnt work if it not open. Just remember that there is a big difference between knealing down and bending over. Faith does not give you the answers, it just stops you asking the questions. If you have to lie to prove what you believe, then what you believe is a lie. Faith means not wanting to know what is true. In Christianity neither morality nor religion come into contact with reality at any point. Which is it, is man one of Gods blunders or is God one of mans? Convictions are more dangerous enemies of truth than lies. I call Christianity the one great curse, the one great intrinsic depravity, the one great instinct of revenge, for which no means are venomous enough, or secret, subterranean and small enough - I call it the one immortal blemish upon the human race. I do not think it is necessary to believe that the same God who has given us our senses, reason, and intelligence wished us to abandon their use, giving us by some other means the information that we could gain through them "Faith... Must be enforced by reason...When faith becomes blind it dies." We must question the story logic of having an all-knowing all-powerful God, who creates faulty Humans, and then blames them for his own mistakes. We must question the story logic of having an all-knowing all-powerful God, who creates faulty Humans, and then blames them for his own mistakes They said God was on high and he controlled the world and therefore we must pray against Satan. Well, if God controls the world, he controls Satan. For me, religion was full of misstatements and reaches of logic that I just couldn't agree with To say that atheism requires faith is as dim-witted as saying that disbelief in pixies or leprechauns takes faith. Even if Einstein himself told me there was an elf on my shoulder, I would still ask for proof and I wouldn't be wrong to ask. It's a pity Jesus remained so silent before his accusers. He could have said: "Oh, by the way guys, no-one should ever kill, torture, maim, burn alive or commit genocide in my name." If he'd been a god he could have saved us all a

The Government of the United States is in no sense founded on the Christian religion.

An atheist is a man who has no invisible means of support. How can a person who is civil and just but ask's for nothing in return be less righteous than those behave justly, but only under threat, and for the aim of a personal reward? Who are the bigger fool's, those who are born stupid or those who choose stupidity? Religious people and donkey's: A donkey is a simple creature it would follow a carrot on a stick, but it is still capable, even with its most basic of intellect of determining when there is no carrot. God is my shepard: - Only sheep need a shepard God is Perfect: Perfect beings do not experience anger or suprise towards a sequence of events they knew of in advance. As a child you may be told that when holding a sea shell to your ear that you can hear the sea. Those that grow up realise that it is not the sea they are hearing. Religion. It's given people hope in a world torn apart by religion. The day that we will truly reach our potential as a civilization will be when everyone does to the idea of god the same that they did to the idea of santa God is eternal because human stupidity is infinite. Why would some all powerful being create creatures capable of reason and then demand that they act in a manner contrary to their creation? If we are going to teach creation science as an alternative to evolution, then we should also teach the stork theory as an alternative to biological reproduction. An Atheist believes that a hospital should be built instead of a church. An Atheist believes that deed must be done instead of a prayer said. An Atheist strives for involvement in life and not escape into death. He wants disease conquered, poverty vanished. If the Bible is mistaken in telling us where we came from, how can we trust it to tell us where we're going? The death of dogma is the birth of reality. A God who kept tinkering with the universe was absurd; a God who interfered with human freedom and creativity was tyrant. If God is seen as a self in a world of his own, an ego that relates to a thought, a cause separate from its effect. he becomes a being, not Being itself. An omnipotent, allknowing tyrant is not so different from earthly dictators who make everything and everybody mere cogs in the machine which they controlled. An atheism that rejects such a God is amply justified. -

Religion is the opiate of the masses. Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, & the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people If all exclusive religions are right and everyone else is wrong, isn't everyone just wrong? The Ten Commandments state that "you shall not have any other gods before me", he is saying you can worship other gods just him more. God is a greedy bastard. The way to make a million dollars is to start a religion If Jesus had been killed 20 years ago, Catholic school children would be wearing little Electric Chairs around their necks instead of crosses So why do I have to go to church to pray? If there is a god can't he hear me at my house? Evolution is not like creationism. It isn't a claim that one can choose to believe, but a fact that one chooses to acknowledge. It is not as in the Bible, that God created man in his own image. But, on the contrary, man created God in his own image. Religion has caused more misery to all of mankind in every stage of human history than any other single idea. Christianity claims Jesus Christ died for mankind's sins. Okay, but they also claim he was resurrected three days later. Assuming both were true, didn't he have just a really shitty weekend? Man created God in his image : intolerant, sexist, homophobic and violent. If god is the alpha and the omega. The begining and the end, knows what has passed and what is to come, like it states in the bible, why do people pray and think it will make any difference. I do not fear death. I had been dead for billions and billions of years before I was born, and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience from it. It aint the parts of the Bible that I cant understand that bother me, it is the parts that I do understand. The easy confidence with which I know another man's religion is folly teaches me to suspect that my own is also Faith is believing what you know ain't so. I do not fear death. I had been dead for billions and billions of years before I was born, and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience from it. All the biblical miracles will at last disappear with the progress of science. A good king inspires loyalty. An evil tyrant demands blind obediance. A good king allows those who do not want to serve him leave in peace. An evil tyrant kills and tortures those who will not be slaves. This is why I could never be christian. Living in fear or judgement is not how I will spend my life. Realizing that this life is all I get and your life is all you get, brings a need to make the best of all possible. Jesus Christ is Santa Claus for adults. I refuse to believe in a god who is the primary cause of conflict in the world, preaches racism, sexism, homophobia, and ignorance, and then sends me to hell if Im bad. It's better to live in freedom for one life time than to be a slave of God for an eternity. Religion is a limitation on your freedom. God is like Santa Claus; A great, amazing and lovely person but sadly untrue. There must be Religion. Otherwise the poor would murder the rich. Religion is excellent stuff for keeping common people quiet If the Bible is the word of God, then I for one would be very worried about the mental state of the author. The guy's a fruit cake. If God gets the praise for saving you, then he should get the blame for not saving all the others. Jesus (if he even existed) would have been executed for being a threat to Roman power... he wouldn't be executed because his invisible dad in the sky planned it all to "save us". In a dangerous world there will always be more people around whose prayers for their own safety have been answered than those whose prayers have not. Children are born without religion, don't give them your nerosis. If god created my brain I'm certain he approves of its usage. A religious text should ideally not extend past three pages. Any longer and it tends to contradict itself. A man without religon is like a fish without a bicycle When I think of all the harm the Bible has done, I despair of ever writing anything to equal it. As stated many times: "Those whom have faith are happier then those without." Of course this is true! Have you never heard..." ignorance is bliss?" The whole of humanity consists of one long war; we just prefer to divide them all into chunks so we can look upon the history of humankind with a bit of sadness as opposed to total disgust. What god would create such a species of murderous hypocrites Faith is a euphemism for prejudice and religion is a euphemism for superstition. The characters and events depicted in the damn bible are fictitious. Any similarity to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental. Believing there is no God gives me more room for belief in family, people, love, truth, beauty, sex, Jell-o, and all the other things I can prove and that make this life the best life I will ever have. Everything is more or less organized matter. To think so is against religion, but I think so just the same. When did I realize I was God? Well, I was praying and I suddenly realized I was talking to myself It has served us well, this myth of Christ.

If God created everything, he created evil. Who is He to call us sinners? If I threaten to kill my children unless they worship me, am I good parent? OK, maybe that's a little bit extreme. Maybe I should just allow someone to torture them for eternity instead. If I knew someone was going to go out and slaughter people, but I did nothing to stop them and my only excuse was "Well, I can't interfere with free will", would you worship me? Religion is the homo sapien brain throwing a tantrum and insisting that the universe revolves around our species. Atheism is the homo sapien brain learning to move beyond such childishness. It is impossible to convince some children that there is no Santa Claus. They do not fully grasp reality. As long as you need an external entity to give credit to for wonderful things that happen to you or to blame for ugly things that happen to you, you need God If you would be a real seeker after truth, it is necessary that at least once in your life you doubt, as far as possible, all things. "This so-called new religion is nothing but a pack of weird rituals and chants designed to take away the money of fools. Now let us say the lord's prayer 40 times, but first let's pass the collection plate." Without God, life is everything. In 1000 years we will all be Atheist or we will no longer be. It is very difficult to reason someone out of a position they did not reason themselves into. You do not need the Bible to justify love, but no better tool has been invented to justify hate. The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully. We are all atheists about most of the gods that societies have ever believed in. Some of us just go one god further. Be thankful that you have a life, and forsake your vain and presumptuous desire for a second one. Religion is unusual among divisible labels in being spectacularly unnecessary. If religious beliefs had any evidence going for them, we might had to respect them in spite of their concomitant unpleasantness. But there is no such evidence. To label peop... [more] Religious faith not only lacks evidence, its independence from evidence is its pride and joy, shouted from the rooftops. I am against religion because it teaches us to be satisfied with not understanding the world. We are all atheists about most of the gods that societies have ever believed in. Some of us just go one god further. But I don't have to know an answer. I don't feel frightened by not knowing things, by being lost in the mysterious universe without having any purpose which is the way it really is, as far as I can tell, possibly. It doesn't frighten me

The more I study religions the more I am convinced that man never worshipped anything but himself. You're basically killing each other to see who's got the better imaginary friend There once was a time when all people believed in God and the church ruled. This time was called the Dark Ages.

There are three kinds of people: those who seek the truth as revealed by a higher authority; those who seek the truth as defined by rational enquiry; and the vast majority, who believe whatever they find convenient. As far as I can tell from studying the scriptures, all you do in heaven is pretty much just sit around all day and praise Rick Reynolds the Lord. I dont know about you, but I think that after the first, oh, I dont know, 50,000,000 years of that Id start to get a little bored. Men rarely (if ever) manage to dream up a God superior to themselves. Most Gods have the manners and morals of a spoiled child. One mans theology is another mans belly laugh. The most preposterous notion that H. Sapiens has ever dreamed up is that the Lord God of Creation, Shaper and Ruler of all the Universes, wants the saccharine adoration of His creatures, can be swayed by their prayers, and becomes petulant if He does "The only reasons people believe in God is; The inspiration of the bible depends on the ignorance of the person who reads it. As people become more intelligent they care less for preachers and more for teachers Why should I allow that same God to tell me how to raise my kids, who had to drown His own? Christianity did not come with tidings of great joy, but with a message of eternal grief. It came with the threat of everlasting torture on its lips. It meant war on earth and perdition hereafter "With soap, baptism is a good thing." In Nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments, there are consequences. God has always resembled his creators. He hated and loved what they hated and loved and he was invariably found on the side of those in power. Most of the gods were pleased with sacrifice, and the smell of innocent blood has ever been considered a divi... When one person suffers from a delusion, it is called insanity. When many people suffer from a delusion it is called religion. Animals do not have gods, they are smarter than that. Pray to God, fine; but keep rowing to shore. I think, therefore I am athiest If God created the world, then who created god? and who created whoever created god? So somewhere along the line something had to just be there. So why cant we just skip the idea of god and go straight to earth? Thank god I'm an atheist... Atheism is nothing more than the noises reasonable people make when in the presence of religious dogma. If we expect God to subscribe to one religion at the exclusion of all the others, then we should expect damnation as a matter of chance. This should give Christians pause when expounding their religious beliefs, but it does not. Whenever a man imagines that he need only believe the truth of a proposition, without evidence - that unbelievers will go to hell, that Jews drink the blood of infants - he becomes capable of anything A man is accepted into a church for what he believes and he is turned out for what he knows. Today's wars are not about good vs. bad--they are about *your* good vs. my good. Religion is perhaps the most potent meme that creates, fosters and justifies these divisions. Prayer has no place in the public schools, just like facts have no place in organized religion.

Watch people pray. Most people do it with their eyes closed, and this should tell you something. Religion was created to comfort mankind when faced with his own lack of immortality. Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful. The finality of death is the coldest truth one must face. Religion makes the perfect distraction. When a man is freed of religion, he has a better chance to live a normal and wholesome life. The religions of mankind must be classed among the mass-delusions of this kind. No one, needless to say, who shares a delusion ever recognizes it as such. Civilization and Its Discontents "Religion is comparable to a childhood neurosis." The Future of an Illusion / 1927 It is a truism that almost any sect, cult, or religion will legislate its creed into law if it acquires the political power to do so. Creationism, perhaps the most pernicious of the intellectual perversions now afflicting the American public.

Its 90 degrees in the shade in jerusalem.. where did noah get two penguins and two polar bears from? A lie is a lie even if everyone believes it. The truth is the truth even if nobody believes it Men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing ever happened. The only church that enlightens is the one that's in fire Often a non-Christian knows something about the earth, the heavens, and the other parts of the world, about the motions and orbits of the stars and even their sizes and distances, ...and this knowledge he holds with certainty from reason and experience... [more] Religion is purelly a man-made form of power and authority...for those who control it of course. Just ask yourself what the ten commandments are. All religions are founded on the fear of the many and the cleverness of the few. "Remember, Jesus would rather constantly shame gays than let orphans have a family." What could be more destructive of that most The beauty of religious mania is that it has the power to explain everything. Once God (or Satan) is accepted as the first cause of everything which happens in the mortal world, nothing is left to chance...logic can be happily tossed out the window I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours. Whats God? Well, you know, when you want something really bad and you close your eyes and you wish for it? Gods the guy that ignores you. Remember, Jesus would rather constantly shame gays than let orphans have a family. Todays religion will be the futures mythology. Both believed at one time by many; but proved wrong by the clever. With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion. With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion. I find that men in costumes are a little old to have imaginary friends, unless of course they are clowns "To assert that the earth revolves around the sun is as erroneous as to claim that Jesus was not born of a virgin." "We don't have to protect the environment, the Second Coming is at hand." Theists should never complain no matter what happens in the world because nothing happens without the almighty's will. So if I break your head, murder your kin, dont blame me. God made me to do it. I distrust those people who know so well what God wants them to do because I notice it always coincides with their own desires. The more prohibitions you have, the less virtuous people will be. Koranic teaching still insists that the sun moves around the earth. How can we advance when they teach things like that? We must conduct research and then accept the results. If they don't stand up to experimentation, Buddha's own words must be rejected. The power of prayer and faith can heal and bring happiness. The real tragedy is that the people that are helped by this don't realize that this power is really coming from within. The presence of those seeking the truth is infinitely to be preferred to the presence of those who think they've found it. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a O Lord our God, help us to tear their bodies to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded. And on the trillionth day, Man created Gods. I have never seen the slightest scientific proof of the religious ideas of heaven and hell, of future life for individuals, or of a personal God. So far as religion of the day is concerned, it is a damned fake Religion is all bunk. I have examined all the known superstitions of the world, and I do not find in our particular superstition of Christianity one redeeming feature. They are all alike founded on fables and mythology. "Question with boldness even the existence of God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason than that of blindfolded fear." Blind faith is an ironic gift to return to the Creator of human intelligence. Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day; teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime; give a man religion and he will die praying for a fish People who don't like their beliefs being laughed at shouldn't have such funny beliefs "If god doesn't like the way I live, Let him tell me, not you." Deaths in the Bible. God - 2,270,365 not including the victims of Noah's flood, Sodom and Gomorrah, or the many plagues, famines, fiery serpents, etc because no specific numbers were given. Blasphemy is a victimless crime "Faith is to the human what sand is to the ostrich." Atheism is a non-prophet organization. there is a very apt and appropriate way to summarise organised religion, and it is that Christianity, Islam and Judaism are like children in a classroom. Gods don't kill people Primates often have trouble imagining a universe not run by an angry alpha male "Who created god? Religion was created to calm the weak and fearfull about death, and allow them to accept it without panic. Unfortunately, religion will probably exist until the day we can extend human life. Thankfully, Science is fast approaching that day. More people have died in the name of christ than for any other reason - the Inquisition, Crusades, witch hunts, etc. God must be spinning in his grave. If athesim is a religion, then not playing cards is a hobby. Out of anxieties fostered by fears and uncertainties born of ignorance, man fashioned a supernatural world of gods, demi-gods, heroes, and monsters in an attempt to explain the natural phenomena around him. What is the difference between a cult and a religion? About 100 years. Abstinence Makes the Church Grow Fondlers There is in every village a torch - the teacher; and an extinguisher- the clergyman Of all religions the Christian is without doubt the one which should inspire tolerance most, although up to now the Christians have been the most intolerant of all men. Those who believe absurdities will commit atrocities God is a comedian playing to an audience too afraid to laugh. It is difficult to free fools from the chains they revere. Prayers never bring anything... They may bring solace to the sap, the bigot, the ignorant, the aboriginal, and the lazy - but to the enlightened it is the same as asking Santa Claus to bring you something for Xmas All churchs beat the devil good, but they are very carefull not to kill him! He that will not reason is a bigot; he that cannot reason is a fool; he that dares not reason is a slave Life is a vacation from two eternities, who wants to waste those precious years worrying about what happens when you get back to forever? Not only is there no god, but try getting a plumber on weekends. If it turns out that there is a God, I dont think that hes evil. But the worst that you can say about him is that basically hes an underachiever. If God exists, I hope he has a good excuse Existence for eternity could get a little boring.. especially towards the end. "Did you make mankind after we made you?" If triangles had a God, he'd have three sides. If God lived on earth people would break his windows Seeing a cross or a crucifix, to me, is a symbol of death and agony. Its not really the symbol I want tattooed on me, or worn on a chain.
