PURPOSE ISSUE DATE:


To notify revised pay scales for higher psychologists employed by Probation 11 August 2005
Boards with effect from 1 April 2004 and 1 April 2005.
IMPLEMENTATION DATE:
ACTION Immediate
Chief Officers should ensure that the revised pay rates are implemented at
the earliest opportunity. EXPIRY DATE:
August 2009
Chief Officers are also asked to forward a copy of the Circular to the
individual members of staff affected by its provisions and the Area TO:
Psychologist.

SUMMARY
Please find attached pay scales for higher psychologists effective from 1 Secretaries of Probation Boards
April 2004 and 1 April 2005. The following should be noted: Heads of Human Resources

Wef 1 April 2004 CC:


The award is an increase of 1.5% to the pay points on the pay spine. The Board Treasurers
new pay spines are attached at Annex A and Annex B. The pay band Regional Managers
minimum has been raised by 6 points. The spine point increase to the
payband minimum should be actioned after staff in post on 1 April 2004 have AUTHORISED BY:
