Fairbanks, AK is a Home Rule City in and the borough seat of the Fairbanks
North Star Borough, Alaska, United States. Fairbanks is the largest city in the
Interior region of Alaska, and second largest in the state behind Anchorage. It
is the principal city of the Fairbanks, Alaska Metropolitan Statistical Area
which encompasses all of the Fairbanks North Star Borough and is the
northernmost Metropolitan Statistical Area in the United States. The
population of the Fairbanks metropolitan area's population is 97,484.
Fairbanks is home to the University of Alaska Fairbanks, the oldest college in
Alaska.
Not many Alaskan inns have 20' cathedral ceilings, an indoor waterfall, 18

developed a unique system of serving fresh squeezed lemonade on a volume basis. It has combined

There are two positions available for females and one for a male. All male candidates must have
their international driving license in order to operate a 10 Ft trailer, as well to work as a food
concessions staff: selling goods, cleaning and other tasks given by the manager. All candidates
must have a clean hair cut, be honest and with a good work ethic.
There is a bonus given at the end of the job offer end date. The business consists of travelling
weekly so our housing is in the form of bunk houses. There is a bunk bed and a sink in each
room. This job position consists of long hours and hard work. It travels to festivals in which we
have food trailers that you will work in. You will be responsible for cleaning, cooking, serving

This is a good place to work for those who are planning to stay in the USA
after the J1 visa expiration date. You will save lots of money and may apply
for other visa and study in university!
Nevertheless, a job offer will be signed until the end of September due to the
J1 visa time limits.
We hire mostly high school and college students from U.S. Most of the food
items we make are free to employees. We will give pay raises and/or reduce
housing cost for enthusiastic, honest employees. We travel through Ohio,
Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Job duties include: Waiting on customer,
Preparing food, serving food, giving change and cleaning. Our season is from
July 4th until October 25th this year, we don’t really need anybody until mid
to late July, but that can be negotiated.
The housing will either be at our home (which has a nice finished basement
with shower, couches, ping-pong, billiards, large TV, gym area) or at a motel
near the event. The motel rooms have 2 double beds and 3-4 people to a
room, role-away beds available upon request. We pay a weekly rate of $350
for a 7 day event. We take care of all transportation.

Description We are looking for Resort Hotel’s service professional that has
general responsibility for the maintenance and cleaning of a hotel rooms. A
housekeeper's primary job responsibility is to maintain the employer's
premises and presentable manner at all times. Duties to include: (Pool
attendant) a pool attendant is responsible for keeping a close eye on the
users of a swimming pool and associated facilities to ensure safe behaviour
and assist with problems. If swimmers do get into difficulties, the attendant
takes appropriate measures to rescue them and administers first aid. The
pool attendant also has responsibility for the safe and hygienic operation of
the pool itself, including monitoring the levels of chemicals, heating and
filtration. (Housekeeper) Bed making, routine bedding & linen changes,
keeping the cleaning and linen supplies fully stocked, the position of
housekeeper does not require special education. Skills required include self
starter, time management, organization, tact and honesty. The W&T USA
participant should speak good English and arrive to a workplace on time.
Housing is not provided and should be arranged as soon as possible.
All candidates must be able to arrive no later than May 19, stay, and work for
us until September 7, 2009. All arrival dates must be confirmed with the
employer prior to arriving. All candidates must be able to speak English:
being fluent in the English language preferred.
Job Specifics:
As a lifeguard you will have to ensure a safe and healthy environment for the
swimmers. In addition, the lifeguard check and maintain specific chemical
levels in the pool.
Additional required duties are:
Cleaning the pool and surrounding area, cleaning the restrooms, trash
removal and enforcing gate control at the facility.
All Employees must be certified in Lifeguard Training, Community First Aid
and CPR for Professional Rescuer. Training is available upon arrival.
Lifeguard Training Class Requirements
*Swim 300 meters un-timed swim using both Freestyle and Breaststroke.
*Swim 20 meters and submerge to a depth of 3 meters to pick up a 5 kg
brick. Then bring the brick to the surface and swim on your back holding the
brick above the water to the starting point.
*Once this portion of the class is completed you move onto the remainder of
the class, where First Aid, CPR, Rescue Techniques are taught. The duration of
a class is 3 days.
*This class costs $179. The fee can be paid either up-front or payroll
deducted and may be refunded. See ‘End of the Season Bonus’ for additional
information. * A test on pool operations may also be required to be taken that
costs between $50 and $100. Employer will assist you in training for this
course.
Salary:
The salary is $7.75 per hour and we guarantee a minimum of 35 hours per
week. Any overtime hours worked will be paid at $11.63 per hour. Overtime is
available but not guaranteed.
Housing:
Housing is provided at a cost of $85 per week. This cost includes the
following utilities: phone, heat, water, and air conditioning. Apartments are
partly furnished. Food is not provided but an apartment comes with a full
kitchen and all utensils necessary to prepare your own meals. Please bring
your own personal necessities such as towels, sheets, pillows, toiletries, etc.
Housing is shared, with approximately 5-6 students per apartment and 2-
3 students per bedroom.
Housing Deposit:
$200 housing deposit and application fee is required to be paid upon arrival.
$180 is refundable if the apartment is left in appropriate condition as
determined by the apartment owner.
Grooming code:
Employees have to be in uniform at all times when on duty. The cost of a
uniform package is $50- $70.
Transportation:
Job locations are within walking or biking distance from the housing with a
few exceptions. Bikes are available for $90 and up. A weekly metro pass is
currently available for $39 and a weekly bus pass is $11. An international
driving license is required to operate a company vehicle. If a car is provided,
employees must pay for gas.
End of the Season Bonus:
We do offer an end of the season bonus: Employees must work through out
Labour Day weekend, including September 7 and work at least 500 hours
through out the season. If the above conditions are satisfied, the cost of the
lifeguard training will be refunded as follows: if you pay for the training in
cash, 100% will be refunded to you; if you pay the training fee through
payroll deduction, 50% will be refunded to you.
Location:
The employer manages pools in Maryland, Washington DC and Northern
Virginia. The area international employees will work/live at is determined by
the employer upon completion of the Lifeguard Training Class.
