Death stalks the rich and the poor, the educated and the uneducated. Death is no respecter of race, color or creed. Its shadow haunts us day and night. We never know when the moment of death will come for us. Is there any hope? . The greatest news that mortal ear has ever heard is the news that Jesus Christ has risen from the dead, as he had promised. Because Christ lives, we also shall live. Please join our mens group for fellowship and reflection as we discuss Pauls writings and their relevance to men today. Our schedule continues March 2nd, March 16th, April 16th and April 20th from 7:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. in the Friendship Center. Want to be the best mom possible?

You are not alone! Mothers Of Preschoolers (MOPS) might be just the thing for you. Every mom is welcomed, accepted and inspired to reach her potential and recognize her influence and purpose within her family - and also that she is part of God's bigger purpose and plan. Moms really do make a better world! Our meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of every month (Sept. - May) from 9:15-11:15am. Also, we have started a Book Club that meets in the evenings. Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity?

Nursery Care is available for infants through 2 during the 9:15 Sunday worship service. If you require nursery care during the 11am Sunday Service please contact the church office by the previous Friday and we will be happy to provide a qualified nursery staff person. Nursery care is also available for special worship services (Lent services, etc.) Stop in the nursery for a brochure with nursery information and policies.

ACTiviTY BAGS
Activity bags are available for use during services. Look for the rack next to the Welcome Center in the lobby or ask an usher. Each bag contains stories, crayons, games, puzzles with scriptures, etc, to help children who attend the service.

If you have questions about Sunday morning classes, please contact Jean Graber. The offering collected in the childrens classes is for the sponsorship of Madina through Compassion International. For more information about our child check the childrens ministries bulletin board by the nursery. Preschool Class For Preschoolers who are about 2 and ready to participate in a class (preferably potty-trained). If you are unsure if your child is ready, talk to the nursery staff or one of the preschool teachers. PreK/Kindergarten Class Children in Pre-K and Kindergarten will feel loved while learning about Jesus love and the wonderful world God has created for us. 1st -6th Grade Class Meet in the 1st & 2nd grade classroom (Childrens wing).

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ After much prayer, due consideration, and ample consultation, i have discerned a call to join in ministry with the congregation at Willow Grove UMC. Bishop Peggy Johnson has seen fit to approve my request for transfer of my secondary appointment to that congregation eective January 25th. i will continue to joyfully serve Jesus at my primary appointment as a chaplain for the communities of Wesley Enhanced Living. it is with all sincerity that i thank you for your Christian companionship, nurturance, encouragement, teaching, and financial assistance. You welcomed me as a brand new baby Christian 28 years ago and i leave you as an Ordained Deacon. Thank you for your special role in my life. Bring Students To Christ Disciple Students In Christ GUATEMALA 2013: We still have a few spots left! Our Sr High ministry will be traveling to Guatemala on June 23 29, 2013 for our summer mission trip. We encourage all students in 9th 12th grade to attend this life changing trip! A $300 deposit is due on ASAP for consideration for a spot: we have had a great turnout and there is now a waiting list for a spot. We will be doing fundraising in the spring to significantly lower the cost of the trip. During this trip, we will experience cross-cultural ministry as we do construction projects, work in orphanages, help in food kitchens, as well as worship the Lord. See nick for more details! We continue to support our Compassion Child ned. He is now six years old and we have been supporting him for two years. We are also selling THrivE t-shirts (see picture).
