STEP 1: PRE-SPEAKING Purpose: Remember common English words and questions that you know. These are the essential, or required, questions you need for English Class.
1. Follow the teachers instructions. 2. Matching. In groups of 3 or 4 students, match the question with the picture.

STEP 2: WHILE-SPEAKING Purpose: Practice using classroom questions.


1. Activity 1 : Boardgame. Follow the teachers instruction. To win: Move from the Door to the Board. To play: -Circles with pictures: you must make a question with the picture. (example: How do you say eraser in English? / Can I borrow an eraser?) The other players decide if the sentence is correct. If it is incorrect, return to the original circle. -Circles with Team Question: the player asks the student on the right a question. (Example: Whats this in English? (point to an object) / How do you say mesa in English?) -Circles with Take a Card: If it is a question, translate the question in Spanish. If it is a picture, say a question that represents the picture.
