Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

The Bidder shall ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date of bid submission.

The tenderer is required to ensure brow ser compatibility of the computer w ell in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of e-Procurement portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection

The bidder shall bear all costs associated w ith the preparation and submission of his tender, and the employer w ill in no case be responsible and liable for those costs. The tender fee is non-refundable.

The employer reserves the rights to reject one or all tenders w ithout assigning any reason.

The employer is not responsible for any delay in accessing E- procurement portal.

Contractors should be registered w ith KPWD Class I Registration and the tenderer should submit the Registration Certificate along w ith technical bid.

To qualify for aw ard of this contract, each tenderer should give all details and documents as per Technical and Financial bid attached to this tender.

As per Karnataka state Government order LD/300/LET/2006 Bangalore dated 01.01.07 and Government letter no PW/134/BMS/2007 dated 27.07.07, a sum amounting to 1% of the bill amount w ill be deducted tow ards constructions labour w elfare fund.

All the formats prescribed in the bid document shall be filled by the tenderer in complete manner otherw ise it w ill be rejected.

All the scanned documents pertaining to bidder to be uploaded shall be in original and same originals should be produced to the Executive Engineer (at the time of Technical Bid Opening) w ho reserves right to verify the orginal documents before approval.

All the items in the tender include all lead, lifts, labour, loading, unloading, transportation, hire charges of machinery curing for concrete w orks, and all other incidental charges necessary for successful completion of w orks as per the direction of Engineer - in charge of this w ork.

Contractors should follow strictly prevailing rules of labour act.

In case if the death of a contractor, after executing the agreement / commencement of the w ork, his legal heir, is an eligible registered contractor and is w illing, can execute and complete the w ork, at the accepted tender rates, irrespective of the cost of the w ork.

The Item rates quoted shall include cost of Royalty charges on construction materials and other taxes as per rates provided in prevailing Govt orders at the time of execution and including cost and conveyance of all materials curing, loading and unloading w ith all lead and lifts, labour, hire charges of machineries and equipment etc., complete and all

All materials required for this w ork shall be procured by the bidder himself and should be got tested by the quality control authorities at his ow n cost before use on the w ork. Department w ill not supply any materials.

The tenderer should submit proposed methodology and programme of construction backed w ith equipment and material planning, & deployment duly supported w ith broad calculation and quality management , plan, proposed to be adopted justifying their capability of execution and completion of the w ork as per technical specifications and w ithin

Materials like bitumen, steel,cement etc., required for the w ork shall be procured by the tenderer themselves and should get tested by the quality control authority at his cost before used on the w ork.

All documents should be uploaded by the contractor is to be attested by the authorized notary or not below the rank of Executive Engineer and should be produced for verification at any stage of process as and w hen saught for .Failure to produce original documents leads to rejection of Tender.

Financial Year w ill be reckoned as the period betw een first day of April and Thirty-first day of March of succeeding year (both days inclusive).

All safety precautions, w arning signs, night illumination, reflectors, deployment of security guards has to be ensured so that no untow ard incident happens on account of negligence or any project activity. Contractor should indemnify the client to that extent.

Further particulars, if any, required by the Contractor can be had from the office of the Executive Engineer PWP & IWT Dept Division Mangalore, during office hours on all w orking days. It may be noted that if any of the dates mentioned above happened to be a general holiday the next w orking day w ill hold good in lieu of the dates mentioned.
