These processes determine performance of the project and also monitoring achievable objectives and match or compare them with the planned results because it is directly impact on customers satisfaction on purchasing product or service. It trappings the IT project quality management structure through the strategy, actions, and procedures of quality planning, assurance and control, with constant process development actions performed all the way through, as suitable. Every process of the IT project can engage attempt from one or more groups supported on the wants of the task. Each one process happens at least one time in each project and arises in one or other plan stages, if the task is separated into segments. The essential approach to IT project quality management explained in this subdivision is proposed to be well-matched through that of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). This universal approach should also be companionable with relative approaches to IT project quality management such as those suggested. Non-relative approaches

such as Total Quality Management (TQM), Design Reviews, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, Cost of Quality and Voice of the Customer.

Project Quality Management must deal with the managing of the scheme and the result of the task. While Project Quality Management relates to every project, not considering of the environment of their product, product excellence dealings and skills are explicit to the meticulous style of product formed by the task. Example Like quality managing of software projects involves diverse methodologies and procedures than other normal projects, while IT Project Quality Management frameworks affect to equally. An in any case failure in meeting quality requirements of the project can be impact highly on stakeholders as well as shareholders. For example: Dipti G Page 2

Nature of quality:
Reliability: quality should be standard throughout whole IT project like some standard methods of coding and evaluating those codes on some standard testing methods like black box and white box testing. Responsiveness: continuous evaluation and escalating to customer as well as higher authority because good interaction between users and IT project manager should be giving good result in terms of responsiveness. Competence: while an organization providing a service it should be in better quality compare to competitor though it can create core competence for your organization. Relevance: it is a characteristic shows how IT projects or services summit actual beneficiaries.

IT Project Quality Planning:

Quality planning generally talks about the relevant standards of quality and also defining processes of achieving or satisfying those standards. It playing an important role in IT project planning and developing process group. For example, if an organization goes towards more quality work than may be the time and cost will be become more so those factor are also need to adjust. IT project Quality Planning Tools and Techniques 8 Cost-Benefit Analysis: The primary objective of meeting quality is to remove rework and giving higher productivity with low cost. And because of low cost stakeholders are also satisfied. The prime Dipti G Page 4

cost of assembling quality necessities is the expenditure connected with IT Project Quality Management actions. Benchmarking: This technique generally talks about to match or compare achievable practices with some standard projects best practices to know that still on which area needs to focus so IT project can achieve those benchmarking. Designs of Experiments: Design of experiments is an arithmetical technique that assists to recognize which features may control definite variables of an IT project while improvement or in construction. For example, designers in automobile area are taking decision by using this technique that which combination of tires with suspension will generate most reliable ride in reliable cost. Cost of Quality: Cost of quality accrued because of poor and unsatisfied quality. Cost of investing on IT project is generally invest to gain more benefits from that IT project and poor quality of IT project spoils that dream of all the stakeholders. And that cost called cost of poor quality. Flowcharting: It is method which shoes how all elements in IT projects are related to each other. We can say it is pictorial representation of the processes.

This diagrams are use to search the root cause and sub causes of generating a problems and issues in IT project. By seeing the below diagram you will get more idea about ishikawa or fishbone diagram.

Other various tools and techniques are there for quality planning which includes brainstorming, nominal group techniques, matrix diagrams, and affinity diagrams.

IT project Quality Assurance

Quality assurance is the function of designed, methodical quality actions to guarantee that the IT project will utilize all procedures desired to meet up necessities. A quality assurance division frequently tracks quality assurance actions. Quality assurance support, despite of the units heading, may be supplied to the IT project squad, the supervision of the performing business, the client or supporter, as well as additional stakeholders not enthusiastically concerned in the effort of the IT project. Continuous development affords

iterative revenue for humanizing the quality of all methods. It reduces misuse and non importance activities, which agrees to practices to manage at improved heights of effectiveness.

IT project Quality Assurance Tools and Techniques 8 IT project quality assurance techniques include all the IT project quality planning tools and techniques which we saw above and also all the IT project quality control techniques which we will see below. Quality Audits It is an organized evaluation to determine that IT project actions are obeying the companys IT project process and IT policies. It also determine the It procedures for that particular IT project. The primary goal of this audit to identify un-necessary procedures and harmful policies of IT projects and try to eliminate those activities. The following exertion to accurate these insufficiencies should effect in a cheap cost of excellence and enhance in the proportion of reception of the IT project or service with the client within the performing association. It authenticates the accomplishment of accepted transform change requirements, counteractive events, fault maintenance, and defensive procedures. Process Analysis: It pursues the hierarchy outlined in procedure development chart to recognize desirable enhancement from a managerial and technological position. This examination checking troubles practiced, constriction experienced, and non assessment actions recognized throughout process function. It comprises fish bone study, a definite method to analyze a difficulty, resolve the fundamental origins that guide to it, and form defensive proceedings for related IT project problems.

IT project Perform Quality Control

Quality control involves observing the IT projects results or objectives and determine whether those are comply with planned result and with relevant quality standards or not. It also monitoring and eliminating cause of un-relevant results. It should be execute during the IT project developing. Quality principles comprise IT project methods and IT project goals. IT Project outcomes contain deliverables and IT project supervision consequences, like cost and Dipti G Page 7

schedule presentation. Quality Control is frequently executed by a quality control division or equally titled governmental part. Quality Control can consist of enchanting achievement to eliminate sources of disappointing IT project performance. IT project Quality Control Tools and Techniques

In this section ishikawa diagram and flow chart also playing an important role as IT project quality control techniques. As we saw those earlier we are focusing here more techniques. Control Chart: It shows that processes of an It project are constant and giving predictable performance or not. It also demonstrates how a method acts over time. By observing the outcome of a method over time, a chart can be working to evaluate whether the function of method alters resulted in the preferred progresses. An example of control chart is showing below.

Histogram It is a bar graph presenting an allocation of variables. Every column stands for a characteristic of a problem. The altitude or height of each one column shows the comparative Dipti G Page 8

regularity of the feature. This technique assists to recognize the reason of troubles in a method by shape and breadth of the allocation. A specific type of histogram is Pareto chart. It is prepared by frequency of incidence. Pareto diagrams are theoretically linked to Paretos Law, which grips that a comparatively small figure of roots will classically create huge impacts of the It project troubles or faults. An example of Pareto chart is showing below.

Other tools and techniques of IT project quality control are run chart, scatter diagram, statistical sampling, inspection and defect repair review.

Conclusion:
Hence I will conclude by saying that IT project quality management is a field of study by which you can achieve your organizations objectives. Here, In IT projects developments you need to take care of quality as it is totally related to your customers business and small mistake or less quality work spoil your business and reputation of your organization. Yes in other perspective good quality take more time and cost. So an organization has to decide some standards of quality by which customer also happy and cist will also not increase. So related to IT the quality management plays a vital role in the IT industry.
