1. Design an elevated pressed steel tank having capacity of 125000L. The height of staging is 15m. Design of staging is not necessary. 2. Design a rectangular pressed steel tank for a capacity of 150000L. The tank is to be placed at a height of 12m above the ground. (Design of staging is not required) 3. A rectangular steel water tank is of dimensions 8 m length X 6 m wide X 4 m height. The tank is situated at a height of 12 m above the ground. Design a suitable staging for the tank assuming a wind pressure of 1.5 kN/m2. 4. Design a rectangular pressed steel tank 7.5m x 6.25 m x 2.5 m deep supported at 9m above ground level. Design tank bearers after planning the arrangement of the plate. 5. Explain the various components of a pressed steel tank. 6. Explain the various precautions you would take while constructing a pressed steel tank. 7. A steel water tank 7.5m x 5m x 2m (deep) is kept over a staging of 8m high. The tank is situated in coastal area top tier beams are ISLB 550. Assume FOUR columns.
