Target Audience (make sure to describe number, age, and abilities of students) These lessons would be for 2nd graders as they become more familiar with their country. This class would be mostly 7 and 8 year olds and would number about 25 students. These students would all have average learning abilities. Overall Objectives 1. Watch the movie and have students open Socrative and take a quiz on the information Interactive Smartboard activities: order them on timeline and matching people with holiday Discuss leaders and their importance, have students write a story about if they were president Listen to the podcast, then watch a video of another class doing it, read a book about it, then we will do it.
