THE BRIEF
This brief was a collaboration with a third year Photography student at Manchester Art School. I designed her identity and a range of publications that would showcase a large body of her work.

CONCEPT
To represent the alternative concepts behind Bellas work, I used Adobe Garamond Pro in italics. I used Geosanslight for Photography to contrast with the serif typeface, and to represent the contemporary aspect of her work.

IDENTITY
I used a range of her strongest images over her identity to highlight her best work. The majority of Bellas photography is very vibrant so I have ensured there is a balance of both full colour and monochrome photography.

FORMAT
I used Helvetica Neue for her contact information because it does not draw attention away from the logo. I printed the business cards on white satin stock to achieve the best quality images and they look like normal photographs.

THE BRIEF
I have chosen to showcase her work through a range of three publications as it reflects her focus on Fashion Photography as well as her interest in fashion publications. The publications also allowed me to organise and present a large body of work effectively.

PUBLICATIONS Publication One: Pure Imagination; is a project that features a range of photographs which Bella has constructed to illustrate nine of Roald Dahls revolting rhymes. Publication Two: The Other Half; is an alternative fashion look book where Bella has manipulated the photographs by hand, and reconstructed. Publication Three: Portfolio; showcases a range of her photography over her third year with a focus on a collaboration project with a Fashion. student.

FORMAT
All the publications have been professionally printed on white satin stock to achieve the best quality for the photographs. Publications one and three are A4 format (cover 300gsm, pages 150gsm) to highlight the impact of the colour of the images by having them on a larger format. A look book is generally smaller, and more compact so I chose and A5 format.

EXIBITION
The proposed exhibition is to take place in the cafe and gallery space called the Jam Factory in Oxford. It will be entitled Pure Imagination, a reflection of the imaginative concepts Bella generates behind her work. This exhibition features the majority of the work showcased in the publications.

FORMAT
I have used the first photograph from the Pure Imagination publication to be the face of the exhibition as It is one of the strongest, most powerful in colour and a photograph that pedestrians will take notice of. The printed flyers are double sided and feature a selection of four of Bellas other strongest images. I have used the same typeface for the exhibition name as I did for Bellas logo, so it is easy to identify.

WEBSITE
The website promotes and showcases all the work Bella has taken over her three years at Manchester Art School, and her Art Foundation course in London. It is a virtual timeline, all the latest projects are featured on at the top of the homepage so the viewers can access her most recent work first.

CONCEPT
I have used a collage format featuring all of Bellas best work. Hovering the mouse over an image will make it change to the full colour version. Each picture is a direct link to the project page.
