The texts: The following texts belong to the Talaandig Tribe. Talaandig is one of the indigenous groups in the province of Bukidnon. The Talaandig population is roughly estimated to be at

about 100,000 people or more. The members of the group are found in barangays and municipalities surrounding the mountain of Kitanglad, the historic domain of the Talaandig people. The tribe's women are expert embroiderers and patchwork-makers, producing beautifully colored bead jewelry and materials. The people are semi-sedentary, living mostly on the sale of their handmade products and agriculture. The song Es Gali is one of the texts to be translated in English. This is a tribal hunting song of Talaandig one of the seven tribes here in Bukidnon. This song shows the culture of Talaandig tribe on how they live life before and it is through hunting which is so different with today. The song Sinla Sinla is Talaandig Tribal song. This song was sung by the Talaandig children when they are having their morning bath in the river. They were asking the sun to shine upon all. This moment is memorable for the Talaandig children as they enjoy bathing in the clean and clear rivers. The poem Bales Hu Tagpamula is one of the Talaandig poems. This poem shows the attitude of Talaandig people of being grateful to the creator. They extended their gratitude to God for the abundant growth of the plant which they have planted. They also acknowledge the presence of the sun and the rain in helping their plants to grow abundantly. The story
