Please pray that the Lord would show us what He wants us to address this coming year as we review various aspects of our church life and ministry in the coming months. Praise the Lord for Craig McGowan's passion for teaching parenting. Please pray that the Lord would bless and use this ministry Please pray that the Lord would fill the Kindy leadership with wisdom and direction as they seek to lay a strong foundation for this work. Please pray that the transitions in our Children's ministry would be led by the Lord, and that the person of His choosing will be apparent to all. Please pray for Faye Lauaki as she leads a Bible ministry to the elderly in Nursing homes around Auckland. Pray that the Lord would bless that ministry, and that she would be given all of the volunteers that she needs. Please pray for the Carter family as Bruce travels to South Korea for the majority of June. Pray for safety for him, and for Keren as she manages the three children alone. Please pray for the Nanjan family as Naren travels to Greymouth for some work related training. Pray that Naren will complete his studies with excellence, and that all will be well at home in his absence.

40 Days of Community "You were never meant to fulfil God's purposes on your own". WHAC is currently going through the 40 Days of Community, which is a church wide campaign to deepen our understanding of how God uses other people for our good and growth, in addition to how God can use us to bless other people. Please be praying for this important time in the life of our church! Hip Hop returns to West Harbour Every Sunday at 6:00pm, Hip Hop classes are being held here at church. This free class is open to all ages, and students are encouraged to bring friends along. A big thanks to Craig McGowan! In response to the recent notice in the newsletter, Craig McGowan has volunteered to co-lead the Christian parenting course that WHAC will be offering alongside of the Kindy. The tentative starting date for this ministry is July 29th. Please be praying for God's blessing on this important ministry! Seasons at WHAC Phyllis Charlton has been a great blessing to the children and parents of WHAC for many many years as she's served in our Sunday School with grace, passion, and faithfulness. As she transitions into a new season of her life, a new season in the life of our Children's ministry is about to begin as Dianne McGowan assumes the leadership of this vital area of ministry! Please pray the the Lord would lead and guide and empower Dianne as she assumes leadership. A new morning tea roster is coming The morning tea ministry is an important part of building community and fellowship at WHAC. A new roster is being put together, and so please note: If you are currently on it, and would like to stay on board, or, if you are currently on the roster and would like a break, or, if you are not on the roster but would like to be, please write you name on a Communication Card with your desired involvement in the space provided, and drop it in the offering bags. Are you eager to be part of the News Room If you have a talent for presentation and a flair for the computer, we are looking for someone to take over producing our weekly newsletter. Looking backwards to move forwards When you're driving, this is a bad idea, but as we seek to grow into the community that God has called us to become, it's indispensable! As such, WHAC ministry evaluation forms are available today for everybody in High School and up to pray through, fill out, and return by June 16th. This is a very important part in our development as a body, so please help us by doing your part.

Ephesians 3:16-19 I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge - that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
