Further breakdown of the main project activitity to provide a better understanding. Identifies the person within G-MWs and other external parties that manage/ control the activity.
Identifies the relevant environmental impacts. These impacts will aid in evaluating the level of consequence (Table 1 of Environemental Risk Calculator)
Evaluate using the qualitative method (not considering controls and regulations) using Environemental Risk Calculator
Identifies triggers that are considered to raise the evaluated inherent environmental risk. An overall risk for that aspect is based on consideration of both the inherent risk and identified triggers. One or more triggers escalates the risk score up a level).
Environmental Impacts
Damage or loss of property or commercial productivity Flora, fauna or habitat disturbance, loss or damage (terrestrial or aquatic) Air pollution (inc. dust, greenhouse gases) Resource loss (e.g. water or energy loss, generation of waste) Land contamination, degradation or loss (inc. soil erosion, litter) Surface or ground water degradation or contamination (pollution/toxicity) Damage to or loss of cultural heritage values (e.g. aboriginal archaeological artifacts /sacred sites)

Environmental Aspect
Elements of the project's sub-activities, products or services that can interact with the environment. Aspect(s) of an activity previously identified in the spreadsheet have been referred to using the subactivity name. Add or delete aspects to the current generic list as required, ensuring all aspects related to the activity are covered.
Identifies if there are any legal or other requirements to which G-MW subscribes to or approvals attained that are related to the aspect. Refer to the Environmental Legal Checklist

Identifies triggers that are considered to raise the evaluated inherent environmental risk. An overall risk for that aspect is based on consideration of both the inherent risk and identified triggers. One or more triggers escalates the risk score up a level).
Residual Environmental
any legal or other h G-MW subscribes to that are related to the Environmental Legal
Identifies any control measures, monitoring or training to be undertaken to reduce the environmental risk identified for each aspect. The control measures, monitoring or training can be addressed cumulativly ie for each activity if they the same for all aspects of that sub-activitiy. G-MW environmental guidelines may be referenced in this column.

If you are using vehicles, boats, equipment, pump or generators as part of your projects, there will be related greenhouse gas emissions. These emmissions are to be calcuated using the GreenHouse Gas Calc (Tab 5) and a copy of this sheet is to be submitted to the EMS team. An annual sum of emmissions contributed is collated and reported as an Environmental Sustatinable Indicator. Numbers refer to sections in G-MW Handbook v1
