23. X is taking up subjects- Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in an exam. His probabilities of

getting Grade A in these subjects are 0.2, 0.3 and 0.5 respectively. Find the probability that he gets

i) Grade A in all subjects;

ii) Grade A in no subject;

iii) Grade A in two subjects.

There are three urns A, B and C. Urn A contains 4 red balls and 4 green balls. Urn B contains 3 red

29. A manufacturer has three machines I, II and III in his factory. Machines I and II are capable of being operated

for at most 12 hours whereas machine III must be operated for at least 5 hours a day. He produces only two

items A and B each requiring the use of all three machines. The number of hours required for producing 1 unit

of each of A and B on the three machines are given in the following table:
