MDTA 2011 ANNUAL INSPECTION REPORT

Bridge No. B-Y037021 Bridge Data & Information Bridge Name: WB TA BRIDGE OVER Carries: I-895 SB Crossing: I-695 No. of Spans: 004 Interim Bridge Inspection An interim inspection of the bridge was performed in accordance with the latest edition of the MDTA Inspection Manual. This interim inspection combined a visual and hands-on inspection such that an overall assessment of the structure could be made, to establish whether the bridge has been maintained in good repair, working order and condition. Findings during the interim inspection are intended to supplement the previous hands-on inspection report. Elements with a condition rating of 4 or less, or a repair rating of E or 1 received a hands-on inspection, with a visual inspection of all other bridge elements. Using this methodology, the condition of the bridge was assessed, and compared to previous SI&A data. Changes to SI&A were updated where appropriate and supported by findings of the interim inspection.
