Installer Friendly: Ascendent’s OSD programming was designed with the installer in mind. It allows for configuration of the camera to give the best performance in any application. Its 4 axis design and video output makes positioning and adjusting the camera quick and simple. Precision Optics: The optical assembly is precision engineered from special low dispersion glass (ELD glass) to take full advantage of HD sensors. The ELD allows the light to accurately hit the sensor for razor-sharp images that maintain their details even after digital zoom. The lens is IR corrected and integrates Infrared Cut-Filter (IRC) which filters out parasitic light during the day for vivid images with accurate color reproduction.     Cost-Effective and Professional


    Ascendents HD-SDI cameras and SDI-DVRs provide high definition video surveillance and recording over existing coaxial cable which eliminates bandwidth constraints and network maintenance. Ascendents SDI cameras, when used in tandem with an SDI-DVR, provide all the same features of an IP based system in terms of ability to stream and distribute video over a network and internet but also operate autonomously without a network giving you the best of both worlds; the cost-effectiveness of an analog system with the features and high resolution of an IP based system.

    Intelligent Light Control


    The SDI cameras have a number of features and technologies such as Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), Highlight Compensation (HLC), Targeted Backlight Compensation (TBL), and Auto White Balance (AWB). These technologies, as well as a host of others, are all programmable and allow the camera to capture images in even the worst lighting conditions ranging from bright light to high contrast. Unlike standard lighting technologies, Ascendents cameras are intelligent and can be customized via user defined zones with variable intensity. This allows the installers to have complete control of how the camera responds to light ensuring the best image possible. For example, if there is a bright light source it will overexpose a large part of the image which leads to loss of detail. Our technology allows you to target these bright areas specifically, without darkening the whole image, so the video retains the maximum amount of detail.

    IR and Low Light Performance


    Our SDI cameras incorporate Sense-Up and Digital Noise Reduction (DNR 2) to deliver color images in low light conditions. Optional IR LEDs provide illumination allowing you to see in complete darkness. The Sense-Up, IR, and Infrared Cut-Filter (IRC) are automatically activated via Electronic Photocell Control (EPC). The LEDs are intelligently controlled to eliminate hotspots and washout resulting in truly flawless illumination day and night.
