After the assertively modern towers of Dubai, the cities of Oman reveal traditional style. Teeming Mumbai offers an option to see the Taj Mahal, before sailing the Goanese and Malabar coasts and on to the tropical island of Phuket and Singapore.

Highlights
When Dubai was a pearl fishing town, its dhows set off for Indias Malabar Coast for pepper and sandalwood. Today the wealth is virtual, yet those commodities still flow from ports like Mangalore. Well sail further, coasting Sumatra and reaching Singapore.

Among the most storied sea-routes of all, the path from the spice islands of the Java Sea to the Arabian shores has drawn adventurers for ages. Our sailing to Indias Malabar and Goanese Coasts, then explores Oman and ends at Dubais surreal glass towers.

Before the Romans named Mare Nostrum, the Indian Ocean was the center of its own world, where Asian spices flowed up from Chinese junks to Malay schooners to Arab dhows through India to Arabia. Where not Odysseus, but Sinbad was the mythic hero.

Highlights
Marigots streets are lined with shops under wrought-iron filigree balconies, just like in France. The wrought iron was ballast for ships coming from Europe to trade for salt one of this islands major exports. The shelves are full of French goods, too.
Highlights
St. Kitts boasts one of the Caribbeans few remaining railways, a narrowgauge line built to haul sugar to the crush. Take it for a breezy circle of the island. Or visit sprawling Brimstone Hill Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site revealing a lot of history.
Highlights
There is something about Antigua. There must be. Why else would Eric Clapton, Oprah Winfrey and Giorgio Armani have homes there? There are gorgeous beaches, the view from Shirley Heights and the museums and boutiques of Nelsons Dockyard, for a start.

Your day at Prickly Pear Island on Gorda Sound is given over to a fabulous Caviar in the Surf beach barbecue, but you may want to pay a short visit to the famous Bitter End Yacht Club on nearby Virgin Gorda as long as youre there.
H i g hl i g h t s
In San Juan, a short walk up a cobbled street brings you to El Parque de las Palomas, where giggling children feed eager flocks of pigeons, and the views of the bay and your Seabourn ship are spectacular. Cruz Bay invites you to look beneath the surface, along Trunk Bays underwater Snorkel Trail.
H i g hl i g h t s
If you are a sailing buff, or just like a thrill, St. Martin offers an optional chance to sail on a bonafide Americas Cup 12-meter racing yacht. You can either pitch in and crew, or sit back and enjoy the ride, or do a little of both.

The vast, blue planet earth offers a bounty of places to explore. This voyage calls at lush landfalls scattered across the Pacic places oftentimes described as paradise. It skirts the coasts of New Zealands North and South Islands, Tasmania and the long, dramatic western side of Australia. It follows the scent of spices through the myriad Indonesian isles and along the shores of Southeast Asia. To the island once called Serendip, and thus to India, Arabia and Egypt, then picks up Marco Polos trail and sails into the Mediterranean and Venice.
