Tech (Bachelor of Technology) in Computer Science and Engineering at NITK (National Institute of Technology Karnataka). I have thoroughly enjoyed working on various projects related to Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Computer Vision. Xerox is a company recognized for its innovation and leading-edge research. It would be an extremely valuable learning experience if I get an opportunity to intern at Xerox India Innovation Hub during my summer holidays. I would like to make a positive contribution to the company while interning. Some information related to my interests are as follows Research interests: 1) Data structures and Algorithms. 2) Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. 3) Computer Vision. Internships and Trainings: 1) Research Internship on Application of Fractals to Biorhythms at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. 2) Research Internship on Realtime Gesture Training and Recognition for Human-Robot Interaction using Microsoft Kinect at India Innovation Labs, Bengaluru. 3) Successfully completed the online Machine Learning course taught by Andrew Ng, Stanford University and received a statement of accomplishment. Projects done: 1) Continuous Realtime Emotion Recognition using Artificial Neural Networks. 2) 3D Bike race game controlled using hand gestures as NUI. 3) Connect7 Game Engine based on the popular game connect4. Ongoing projects: 1) Team Lead for a project on Holographic Telepresence in Augmented Reality using Kinect (sponsored by the Diode SIG, IEEE - NITK chapter) 2) Navigation system (SLAM) and human recognition for the visually impaired using Microsoft Kinect. 3) Implementing a classifier based on distributed K-means clustering algorithm for unsupervised learning on the cloud. 4) Smart Trip Adviser with Recommender Systems, Review Summarizer and a mash up of APIs giving information about various tourist spots.
