Check engine air emergency shutdown system by tripping latch without engine running and reset to run position.

30 Verify hydraulic pumps and control valves appear to be in good condition and mounted securely.
FRAME P ass/Fail Check all structural members for damage, deformation or excessive corrosion. Caution: Do not weld on unit without first disconnecting all magnetic pickups and MCII. 32 Check all safety guards and Ensure they are in place and secure. 33 Verify that proper company logos and decals are installed as per the Branding initiative. Verify that the SAP eauipment number is clearlv marked on the unit (see the ESG Brandina web page for guidelines). 34 Touch up paint as necessary to Halliburton specifications.

P ass/F ail In itia l FUNCTION TEST 42 Connect remote hydraulic relief valves between pumps pressure lines and return lines. * * * CAUTION: * * * DO NOT dead head pressure on hydraulic quick disconnects. 43 Assure engine starts properly and oil pressure gauge functions. 44 Assure engine responds to throttle and regular stop controls. 45 Assure hydraulic pressure for starter system pressures up if equipment with auxiliary pump. N/A if not applicable. 46 Assure engine temperature gauge functions and does not exceed 190 degrees F while engine is running. 47 Increase engine speed to full rpm and verify on tach. 48 Check for engine oil, water, and fuel leaks. Repair any leaks found after test. 49 Gradually adjust remote hydraulic relief valves and assure pumps pressure up to 2000 psi.
