Low Static Pressure Duct Type

Midea IDU series have been developed around the world for nearly one decade.
Because the old tooling mould cancelled and in order to provide better product and service to our clients, we have launched new low static pressure duct IDU to replace the old type. The new IDU is a brand-new design and improved according to the market feedback.

Main Feature:
Comparing to the old one, weve made many improvements as follows: 1. Lower noise level
Utilize the cross flow fun, the lowest noise is 21dba.

Smoother airflow with less turbulence

Owing to the multiple-blade fan rotor and the air guide design, the airflow is getting smoother and more comfortable.

Super thin and lighter weight

The whole body adopt fireproof plastic material, so it is lighter than the old one. And the new design makes it quite thin and elegant.

Smaller volume
Compared with the original duct, the new design volume is 15% smaller.

wider capacity range

The capacity range from 1.8KW to 5.6KW, six model.

Convenient installation
The EXV is fixed beside of the indoor unit. The connection pipe is flexible pipe, so it can change the connection direction conveniently.

Easier to do cleaning and maintenance

Four level fan speed meet different requirements. Obligate super high speed in

order to satisfy long air pipe. The new low static pressure duct is lighter, thinner and better performance compared to the old type. Furthermore the old type IDU is facing unstable lead time for the old tooling mould. Therefore we decide to phase out the old type and offer you new type IDU. We are sorry for the inconvenience brought to you. But we are quite confident that the new one must have better market performance.

Since May 1st, 2009, the mass production is available.
