The Spring Concert has been rescheduled and will be
held on April 28 at 7 p.m. The bands and grades 1 and 2
will perform in the concert. This move will allow the for
the school musical set to be up at an earlier date.

ST. JOHN’S CONFIRMATION ON SUNDAY
St. John’s confirmands attending St. Paul’s school are
Samantha Fischer, Samuel Dose, Abigail Koelpin, Carl Boeder,
and Rachael Kuck. These young people have had thorough
instruction in God’s Word and have demonstrated their
understanding of the chief doctrines of the Christian faith.
Now they will publicly confess their faith and express their
desire to become a communicant member of their church.
May God bless them and give them strength to remain
faithful to His Word all of their lives.

COOKIE DOUGH SALES
Thanks to all who participated in the
cookie dough sale. The school netted about
$7,000 and the Board of Child
Discipleship has authorized the use of
this money for the purchase of two Smart
Boards and related equipment. These
boards will be installed in Mrs. Grunwald’s
and Mrs. Wendler’s classrooms this
summer. Both of these teachers have
completed Smart Board training at Martin
Luther College.
Hey Pioneer Parents! Don’t miss our Pioneer Camping Demonstration Saturday April 26th
from 9:00 – 11:30 am at the rustic camp grounds at Flandrau State Park. We’ll set up tents,
start a camp fire, fry pancakes on our buddie-burners, and enjoy God’s beautiful creation A
park sticker is needed to enter the park in vehicles, however rides will be provided upon
request. Contact your Pioneer Leaders for more information.

LGP Camp will be held June 12-14. Registration materials are available in the school office. All
girls completing 3rd grade or older are welcome. You do not need to be an active Pioneer (or
WELS) to attend. Our camp theme this year is Girl Pioneers, Go West! We’ll take a trip to the
Harkin Store, do pioneer crafts and cooking, sing around the camp fire, have a Hoe-down, and

I once made a remark about the hidden books of the Bible. It was a lulu. Kept people looking so hard for facts
and for others it was a revelation. Some were in a jam, especially since the names of the books were not
capitalized. But the truth finally struck home to numbers of readers. To others, it was a real job. We want it
to be a most fascinating few moments for you. Yes, there will be some really easy ones to spot. Others may
require judges to help them. I will quickly admit it usually takes a minister to find one of them, and there will
be loud lamentations when it is found. One little lady says she brews a cup of tea, so she can concentrate
