Clinical experience:
 One-year rational internship at Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP), Savar,
Dhaka, is going on in following areas:

Musculo-skeletal Physiotherapy:
Setting:
i. CRP Dhaka City Centre (CDCC).
ii. Outpatient section of physiotherapy department, CRP main centre, Savar, Dhaka.
Main Responsibilities:
 Assessment and Physiotherapy management of patients of different conditions (common
sports injuries, hand injuries, back and neck pain, spondylitis, arthritis, soft tissues
 injuries). 
 Monitoring (quick assessment and treatment) the outpatient on outdoor days. 
 Documentation of patient’s information. 

Skills in relevant area:


 Mechanical diagnosis and therapy (McKenzie Concept). 
 Mobilization of the spine peripheral (Maitland Concept). 
 Soft tissue mobilization (Cyrix Concept). 
 Mobilization with movement (NGAS & SGANS). 
 Tapping techniques. 
 Successful use of interferential therapy, laser therapy, ultrasound therapy, short wave
diathermy, wax therapy, TENS, tropic and muscular stimulator, combined therapy and
IRR. 

Neuro-Physiotherapy:
Setting:

 Assessment and Physiotherapy management of patients of different conditions (common

Spinal cord injury:
Setting:
I. CRP (Center for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed) Spinal Cord Unit.

 Assessment and Physiotherapy management of Spinal Cord Injured (SCI) patients. 
 Educating the carer about the management of the patient at home. 
 Documentation of patient’s information. 
Skills in relevant area:
 Cardio Pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). 
 Managing patients in different phase (Acute to Community reintegration phase). 
 Responsible to arranged patients meting, sports, patients’ cultural programme. 
 Responsible to patient home visit in the community. 

Paediatric physiotherapy:
Setting:
I. CRP paediatric department, CRP main centre, Savar, Dhaka.
II. CRP Dhaka City Centre (CDCC).

Main Responsibilities:
 Assessment and Physiotherapy management of children with different conditions (commons
are Cerebral Palsy (CP), Down Syndrome (DS), Spina Bifida, Muscular Dystrophy (MD),
Club Feet, Autism).
 Educating the career about the management of the child with disabled at home. 
 Responsible to arranged parents meting. 
 Documentation of patient’s information. 
