Miss Little of District Nursing Society telephoned to know if four De Pari girls could stay in the home
while their mother was in Memorial Hospital for observation. The baby and another child who is an
invalid are to be in the hospital while the mother is there. The oldest boy is to stay at home with his
father.
In looking over Mrs. De Pari’s history at Memorial Hospital, find that Miss Little of District Nursing
Society went to Memorial Hospital on Summer Street where woman was taken by District Nursing
Society to be examined. The letter recommended that the woman be admitted to Memorial Hospital to
stay several weeks and all kinds of laboratory tests to be made. She seems to be in a dazed condition most
of the time and complains of headache.
Violanda, the eight year old child, who is to stay in the hospital while her mother is there, is always
confined to her bed and was a patient in Memorial Hospital for more than two years.
April 23rd, 1923- The four girls went home today; their mother left the hospital about a week ago, and
Miss Little telephoned shortly after to say she would come and take the girls home, but home was in
quarantine for chicken pox so they had to stay a week longer.
July 5th, 1923- One of the District Society Nurses asked home to care for mother and all the children
because mother was not well enough to care for self and children but the home could take Julia and Lucy.
Coungetta stayed at home to care for baby and husband.
