RESUMEN
Los materiales compuestos particulados de matriz polimrica pueden estar constituidos por una matriz termoplstica o termoestable segn su aplicacin. Cuando estos materiales presentan fracciones volumtricas altas de partculas de refuerzo, su comportamiento mecnico depende de las caractersticas del material de la matriz y su interaccin con el esqueleto formado por las partculas. La prediccin de deformacin de estos materiales bajo la accin de cargas y temperatura es un problema complejo que se analiza comnmente de manera lineal a pesar de su naturaleza altamente no-lineal. Este trabajo presenta un modelo constitutivo de fcil implementacin numrica para la prediccin del comportamiento mecnico de compuestos particulados de matriz termoplstica a temperaturas superiores a Tg basado en teoras micromecnicas y fenomenolgicas. Con este modelo es posible obtener las propiedades del material macro con base en las caractersticas de sus componentes

Observation of Linear Time-invariant Systems with Lebesgue Sampling IEEE ANDESCON 2010: Green Technologies for a Better World The usual methods for state estimation of a continuous time system require the precise value of the output variable at all instants of time, or at equally spaced sampling instants. In this work an estimation technique is introduced for Linear Time Invariant (LTI) systems, when the only information on the output variable consists of the time instants at which it has reached certain fixed threshold value. This is motivated by the fact that these measurements can be easily obtained with robust and inexpensive binary sensors (detectors). It is shown that, theoretically, and despite of the scarcity of the information given by the sensors, it is possible to reconstruct after a finite number of samples the exact value of the state variable at all time instants. confeccin en el que se busca evaluar el grado de implementacin de la Manufactura Esbelta (Lean Manufacturing) en sus respectivos procesos productivos. Especficamente se trabaja con empresas que fabrican blue jeans, camisas tipo polo y camisetas t-shirts. En efecto, este sector industrial en la ciudad de Medelln est muy desarrollado y es uno de los ms dinmicos de la industria, por lo tanto es de mucho inters su evaluacin. Para el desarrollo del benchmarking se construy un cuestionario y se aplic en las diferentes empresas entrevistadas. El resultado ms significativo que se hall es que la implementacin de las tcnicas de Manufactura Esbelta no se encuentra muy difundida entre las compaas del sector y solamente las que tienen trayectoria de trabajo como empresas exportadoras o licenciatarias de marcas internacionales son las ms avanzadas en su aplicacin y desarrollo. This research was motivated by a practical application observed at an electronics manufacturing facility where a BPM is a bottleneck and consequently minimizing the makespan is the primary objective. The batch processing time is the largest processing time among the jobs in the batch, and the batch ready time is the largest ready time among the jobs in the batch. Given that the problem is NP-hard we propose a simulated annealing (SA) heuristic to solve the problem under the assumptions of nonidentical job sizes and non-zero job ready times. The computational experiments conducted on a set of randomly generated problem instances show that the proposed SA approach outperforms other solution approaches available in the literature at a reasonable computational cost

In order to have an efficient control of all of them, inventory managers have utilized traditional approaches (as ABC classification) to organize inventory items into a smaller number of categories. 5th ICPR Americas 2010 Ante la deficiencia en los sistemas MRP

al no considerar la capacidad como una restriccin para las operaciones, frecuentemente los planificadores se ven obligados a replantear manualmente las salidas de dichos sistemas. Por lo tanto, se construy un modelo para la replanificacin de abajo hacia arriba que permite encontrar un plan de produccin factible de ser ejecutado. Para ello, se realiz una revisin del estado del arte en cuanto a la elaboracin de modelos de planificacin que tuvieran en cuenta la capacidad instalada y se elabor un algoritmo simple en Excel que podr ser utilizado en la capacitacin de quienes se encargarn de planear y controlar la produccin. De esta forma, se obtuvo un modelo que permite replantear los planes de requerimientos de capacidad cuando no se ajustan a las restricciones del sistema, partiendo del traslado a perodos anteriores de unidades a fabricar de los productos hijo en la lista de materiales.

En este se propone utilizar la tcnica de fresado por capas (Layer milling) para la obtencin de moldes maquinados en poliestreno expandido; los cuales requieren de un acabado apropiado para aplicar resina sobre ellos y obtener as piezas de matriz polimrica reforzada con fibra de vidrio. In this search we found the friction welding (FWS Friction stir welding), which has little documentation and technical information, because it is a newly patented manufacturing process (1991) by American Welding Institute (United Kingdom), but, has given great results and its use has experienced a steady growth, becoming a subject of great technological interest. This article discusses that method, to design your experiments to find suitable parameters and in turn compared to other welding processes already existing and widely used in industry, saying thus, its high reliability and applicability in industry metalworking in the country. En este artculo se presenta un modelo de la cadena de abastecimiento de la empresa Creaciones Nadar S.A., que confecciona ropa para los deportes acuticos. La cadena se compone de los Siguientes eslabones: clientes, tienda, centro de distribucin integrado (CEDI), planta interna, plantas satlites y abastecimiento de materias primas. La cadena de suministros de la empresa Creaciones Nadar S.A. es un sistema complejo, debido a que posee diferentes actores que forman estructuras de realimentacin y efectos de retardos en el comportamiento. La cadena de suministro posee diferentes comportamientos dinmicos generados por cambios en los factores exgenos, como la demanda de prendas, el nmero de operarios que se requieren en la planta propia, el inventario del CEDI y la tienda, etc. Para la modelacin de la cadena, se emplea la metodologa de dinmica de sistemas y el software Ithink. Se analizan diferentes escenarios, utilizando la simulacin y teniendo en cuenta las variables ms representativas para ser modificadas.
