Edit List of Commands & Monitor Ladder Diagrams

It replaces computer PLC editing software by d irectly e d iting an d executing commands at the OS system. PLC ladder diagram are used for instantaneous program monitoring.

Multiple Data Transmission

Various data transmission methods are adoptable. Transmit human-machine programs using front USB or Ethernet for higher transmission efficiency. EU200 human-machine can transmit PLC programs via the By Pass Method.

Many-to-One Transmission
Image Transmission:
PC transmits images to the first human-machine and then the images can be transmitted to the second human-machine via the Ethernet.

Connect eight human-machines via Ethernet so that PLC can read and write data through COM1(RS-232/RS-422/RS-485).

The New Generation Editing Software: EU Works 2
Window Feature 1 The quick tool access bar presents various functional, inclu d ing graphics, elements, status bar, etc., in icons for easy selection. Window Feature 2 Use the screen menu for viewing the screen format and the search screen. The default location is on the left of the screen, but the user can drag-and-drop it to a preferred spot. The user can easily manage the screen using screen functions including create, copy, paste, and delete. Window Feature 3 The default location for the error list window is at the bottom of the screen, but the user can drag-anddrop it to a preferred spot. When an error message appears, double click the mouse left button for switching the screen and jumping to the selected item. Window Feature 4 The general function control window locates on the left of the screen. The user can create user's gallery, change human-machine system parameters, or quickly upload or download files in this window. Window Feature 5 The attribute window locates on the right of the win d ow as the d efault. The user can quickly modify element attributes in the attribute window. Functional Feature 8 Frequently used elements can be placed at the empty space on the side of the main editing screen to save time on searching for the elements.

Functional Feature 6 Multiple switches and multilingual setup: every switch element can have as many as 32 status sets. Multiple setups can be carried out rapidly. For multilingual switching, 10 sets of language bars can be edited on the screen regardless which country the device is exported to. Screen editing time can be saved after the setup. Functional Feature 7 The switch screen function displays all the once opened windows as folders on the top.

The Attribute Window Function

The user can drag-and-drop the attribute window to any location on the editing screen, but the default location is on the left of the window. Each element has its own attribute window. The figure on the left is the attribute window for the editing software ER200.

The Memory Usage List Functions

The memory usage list is for the user to view the used memory volume for the edited screen. The programmer can quickly check the volume of the current edited program.

The Error List Function

The default location of the error list is at the bottom of the window. When carrying out program editing, the editing personnel can check correctness of the elements from the editing screen of the error list, which is time saving.

The Item Alignment Function

The item alignment function is used to align two or more elements in the editing software. There are two options for item alignment: one is to use the icon on the tool bar, and the other is to select the function from the Edit menu. Files can be store d in external d evices (USB ash drive or SD memory car d ) when the internal memory falls short. The external memory detection setup helps the programmer to assign the device for the storage.

The e d iting software provides six alignment methods, as shown in the figure on the left. The d esign personnel simply clicks on the alignment method, and the elements on the screen will be lined up quickly.

The Diagram Display Function

The Array Copy Function

Select the element for array copy and click on either the menu or the quick tool access bar to open the d ialog box for array copy. Click on the element for array copy and d etermine the d irection of copies, number, space, and register increment. After confirmation, array copy setting is ready.

The Database Function

The macro database provides a multi-functional effect by allowing the user to edit macro commands at the human-machine interface. Macro commands can also be used to simplify controller processing procedure. For editing, the standard editing grammar of C language is used so the design personnel need not to get familiar with any new editing method. The three major categories of macro commands are process control, function option, and math functions. Function Option Math Function

For the figure database, there are built-in figures for selection, but other types of figures can also be included into the database for a richer human-machine interface content.The already built-in figures can be shared with others to save editing time.

EU200 Series offers a variety types and useful figure databases.

System Figure Database

The footnote database consists basic comment and comment group. The text content, color, ashing, quality, and style of the basic footnotes and the footnote groups can be set up within the footnotes. Multilingual text display can also be arranged in the footnote groups.

The Alarm Record Function

Historical alarm record, advanced alarm record, and advanced alarm pop-up display functions are available for the design personnel. The figure on the right is the template for the historical alarm record and the advanced alarm record. The year, month, day, and time of an alarm happened can be displayed. As many as 32,767 data of points and 255 sets of groups can be monitored by the advanced alarm record and saved into the memory card. The advanced alarm pop-up display function will present fault states in a pop-up window when presenting the fault record.

The Formula Expansion Function

Process parameter modification may be frequently required for devices are used in various production states. With this formula expansion function, the users can quickly modify the parameters, set up the parameters in the editing software, add new parameters via human-machine interface, or store the process parameters in *.CSV format in a memory card for better device efficiency.

The Message Ticker Function

The text content, color, ashing, quality, and style of the message ticker can be arranged in the software. Three ticker speeds are available for option.

Description Select an external memory device for usage. AInner Memory BStandard SD Card CUSB Disk Select the "outer frame" and locationin the Outline Box to change the message ticker location and to make the screen more eye-catching.

The Security Function

Protect security d evice programs from being uploaded or downloaded by unauthorized personnel is critical. At here, "PIN Setup" is used for device security. For the level of PIN, EU200 Series offers 15 sets of security PIN; the right to control or display elements depends upon the level of the entered PIN.
PIN has to be entered for uploading or downloading programs via the software.

The External I/O Setup Function

EU200 Series offers external I/O functions for design. The external I/P arrangement is carried out via an editing software.

To improve work efficiency, EU200 seriess provide a powerful "off-line simulation software" for program editors to carry out simulation test or controller-connected communcation test on the computer.
