RubberDoc (Beta) version 0.9.6 RubberDoc is a simple Document Management extension for Joomla! v.1.5 and up.

Ru bberDoc makes document management, organization, and sharing simple and easy! Si mply install, create your categories, documents, and links, and you're all set. This extension is released under the GPL License version 2.0 (www.gnu.org) INSTALLATION - Make sure that you are running PHP 5.2.0 or later on your server - Sign in to the Joomla 1.5 administration side - Go to the Extensions > Install/Uninstall - Browse, select and upload the com_rubberdoc.zip package. It installs the Rubbe rDoc component and two plugins for you - create a writable directory called "rubberdoc" in the root of your joomla inst allation - To access the help content go to Components > Documents > Help UPGRADE Since there has been no changes in the database, to upgrade from 0.9.4 to 0.9.5 you can simply delete the existing files and upload the new files. So follow the following instructions to upgrade: Unzip com_rubberdoc_v_0.9.6.zip now you have "com_rubberdoc" on your desktop First step is to upgrade your rubberdoc plugins. In your Joomla website delete: plugins/content/rubberdoc.php plugins/content/rubberdoc.xml plugins/search/rubberdoc.php plugins/search/rubberdoc.xml

upload everything in - "com_rubberdoc/plugins/content" to your joomla website "plugins/content/" dire ctory - "com_rubberdoc/plugins/search" to your joomla website "plugins/search/" direct ory Your plugins are now upgraded. Next we are going to upgrade the component: In your Joomla Website delete all the files in: - administrator/components/com_rubberdoc - components/com_rubberdoc upload everything in "com_rubberdoc/admin" to "administrator/components/com_rubb erdoc" in your joomla website upload the file "com_ruberdoc/manifest.xml" to "administrator/components/com_rub berdoc" in your joomla website upload all the files in "com_rubberdoc/site" to "components/com_rubberdoc" in yo ur joomla website Your components are now upgraded. Now let's upgrade the translation files: overwrite "language/en-GB/en-GB.com_rubberdoc.ini" with "com_rubberdoc/en-GB.com

_rubberdoc.ini" overwrite "language/en-GB/en-GB.plg_search_rubberdoc.ini" with "com_rubberdoc/en -GB.plg_search_rubberdoc.ini" To upgrade your rubberdoc module using the Joomla administration interface, simp ly uninstall mod_rubberdoc and install the new mod_rubberdoc.zip provided in thi s package. You should be good to go now!
