COURSE TITLE: LIFE AND WORKS OF RIZAL COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course deals with the understanding of the students are expected to: COURSE OBJECTIVE: At the end of the course, the students are expected to: a. Have deeper understanding of the life and works of Rizal, in particular the philosophies which promoted his life and works. b. Relate the works and ideas Rizal to the present needs of the country and to themselves. CREDIT: 3 UNITS PLACEMENT: Summer NO. OF HOURS PER WEEK: 56 hours COURSE REQUIREMENTS: 1. Students must pass the quizzes and major examinations that will be given 2. Submit reports, assignments, readings or researches on time 3. Class participation: behavior in class, regular attendance, opinion sharing 4. Adopt and put practice knowledge, skills and values VALUES TO BE INTEGRATED: Sense of Responsibility, Nationalism, Loyalty, Open-mindedness
