Academic Background: Completed UG & PG in chemical engineering and currently
pursuing PhD at NCL, Pune; India’s leading CSIR lab in Chemical Engineering
Current Services: Preaching, Chairman-Service Board, Coordinator-FOLK, Book
publications in English & Regional language etc…
Spiritual interests: Absorption in Srimad Bhagavatam, Meaningful Vaishnava relations & resourceful
services.
Q: Hare Krsna, Mukund Anand pr! How were you introduced to Krsns Consciosness?
M.A. Pr: I came to Krsna Consciousness in 1996 by preaching programs at Bharati Vidyapeeth by HG
RSP. I could further commit to Krsna Consciousness by consistent preaching & follow up by HG Krsna-
Kishore Pr who is very meticulous & steady in his services. He always sets the path for most of us to follow
smoothly.
Q: What is your inspiration in Krsna Consciousness?
M.A. Pr: The most wonderful inspiration is HG Radheshyam pr, with his force on Sadhana, cutting KC
lectures, strong demands; it’s all joyful. The way he has developed each devotee and nurtured them
according to their inclinations is simply wonderful. And other important source of inspiration is
upcoming devotees with their innocent questions, bubbling enthusiasm & willingness to accept new
things in KC
Q: How did VOICE training benefit you in your life?
M.A. Pr: Simply speaking, I am what I am simply because of VOICE training. As Srila Prabhupada says-
“It’s a wonderful spiritual mechanism to convert a crude man into a blissful devotee of the Lord”. Not only
in the devotional life, but I found VOICE training useful even in my professional career and most
importantly in my married life as well. VOICE teaches us spiritual values, meaningful relations, attitude
of taking initiatives and sense of being responsible. It’s all necessary in every walk of life.
Q: Can you tell us about your services?
M.A. Pr: One of the most fascinating things about KC is that it’s very dynamic, perfectly suited to engage
our youthful propensities; which otherwise degrades to various descriptions of Kali Yuga. Since the
beginning of my KC , HG RSP always gave us very challenging services: be it a thrill of preaching & book
distribution, hard labor of GGD-VOICE construction, academic yet very time bound service of book
editing & publications or management of engaging devotees; its all dynamic. I still remember the GGD
programs that HG RSP used to conduct at night 10.30 –12.30 and then we used to go to Mayapur VOICE
for resting at 1.00 am and up at 4.00 am for following day’s morning program. It’s thrilling to serve Krsna.
Q: As a grihastha, what is your advice for Nityananda sabha boys?
M.A. Pr: I am surely not qualified to advice but some friendly clue is as-
1. KC is not 100-mtr race but 42 miles marathon. Attentive chanting & deep absorption in Srimad
Bhagavatam is must to successfully complete the race.
2. Without getting attached to any position lets try to serve in various capacities. We should be attached
to following instructions than to positions.
3. Let’s not get enamored by the false promises of MAYA and her agents and postpone our active
surrender to wonderful Shri Krishna!
4. Let’s be grateful for all that we have received and let’s try to handover (preach) the same to others.

Shantipur Dham VOICE Experiences unique NISHTA

The 2nd year devotees of Shantipur-dham VOICE experienced a
rejuvenating and unique NISHTA Camp at Pune and Mumbai. They took
the beautiful darshan of Sri Sri Radha Kunjabihari for the first time. HG
Bala Govind P gave class on “Passing of Bhishmadev” in which he said,
"We are searching for pleasure and Srimad Bhagavatam is like chappan
bhog and what we are trying to accumulate in this material world is like
dog biscuit". The high-lights of the camp are:
1. Visit to HG Jayadev Pr’s house–They saw how Grihasthas practice KC
2. Visit to the Nigidi temple and Dehu yatra – They came to know the
glories of Santa tukaram & took bath in Indrayani river.
