Overview:
I have completed my BSc Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering And Technology. I
worked in Bangladesh for 6 months then I came to London and worked 2 yrs as a Site Engineer, then I got an
admission in MSc Structural Engineering at City University, London. Here I am taught Steel Structures, Bridge
Engineering, dynamics of structure, stability of structures which will help me to be more confident to do my
job. I always worked in big projects and as alone as there was no engineer to help me.

Objective:
I prepared myself to work as a Structural Engineer. I want to work on Steel structures or on RC frame
structures or on bridges. My vision is to make high rise building or large bridges.

Achievements:
I did one 9story (1500m2) and one 5 story (800m2) building in Old street, London. One 5 story and one 4 story
building in whitechapple, one 5 story building in Stratford, 6 floors in different wings of Park Hall school

Work Experience:
UK Experience (2 yrs)-
Responsibilities: communicating with the design team/ client/ site manager, planning with the foreman, setting out, managing the
chippies and steel fixtures

a) Last time I worked for Galldris Construction Limited in Whitechaple at Old Montague St. I had to leave the job as I am going to
university now. Main contractor is DURKAN. I am building One 4 story and one 5 story building here. I have been here from the very
beginning of the project (last three months). I installed Isokorb System here. Foreman is Jimmy Muldoon (07900103734).

b) I used to work for FDL (Foundation Development Limited) for last six months (October2007 to end of April, 2008) as a Site
Engineer. I have completed a 5 story building in block A and a 9 story building in block B at Wenlock St in Old Street covering an area
of 2200 sqr m. I was the only Engineer to do the whole project. I was there from ground floor to 9 th floor. Work manager was Eddy
McElhinny (07961113704).

b) I worked in a HBG project (Park Hall School Project) in Castle Bromwich, Birmingham as a Site Engineer for the subcontractor
Cafforkey from September 2007 to October 2007. It was about 5000 square meter project. I worked during concrete framing phase. I
have learned how to set up tendons for prestressed cables from this project as the slabs were designed as prestressed concrete.
c) I worked with GCL (Ground Construction Ltd) as a setting out engineer for two months during the months May, June and July in
2007. It was a HIGGINS project in Plumbers Row in whitechaple. I did there ground works, lower ground floor, upper ground floor
and First floor.
d) I worked with FastForm structures in London for 6 months (December2006 to May 2007). I worked in a 5-story building from
beginning to the end in Stratford.

Bangladesh Experience:
I worked in a renowned real estate firm named EQUITY PROPERTY MANAGEMENT Ltd for 6 months (October, 2004 to March,
2005) as a Trainee Engineer as well as Quality Controller. In Bangladesh we the graduate engineers used to do design or check the
design, do the estimates, do the setting out and do the marketing. My projects were-
1) Equity Excelcia: My responsibilities were to do the setting out for the piles and pilecaps, do the estimates and place the order
to the procurement department. I did there groundwork and after that I was shifted to another project called Equity Aventura
but I have to come to this project once in every week to check the setting out, reinforcement work and to check the
reinforcement design. It was a 6 story and 7500sft project.
2) Equity Aventura: I started here from 1st floor. My responsibilities were to check the setting out, do the estimates and place the
order to the procurement department, check the steel work and check the reinforcement design. I had to stay there and to go
once in every week in another three projects for supervision. It was a 6 story and 7000sft project.
3) Equity Village: My responsibilities were to check the setting out and the reinforcement work. It was a 15 story 10,000sft
building project.
4) Equity Starlit: My responsibilities were to come once in every week and to check the setting out and the reinforcement work.
It was a 9 story 7000sft building project.
