Thank you for your request for information, received 28 March.

You requested the following information:

In what LLB subjects, if any, were standardization meetings held in the years 2011 and 2012?

None.

The Laws Programme does not have formal meetings of any groups of examiners apart from the Board Meetings and examination paper scrutiny meetings.* There are no moderation and standardisation meetings as such in the LLB subjects. The only meetings would be by email correspondence between examiners if issues arose during the marking process or between Chiefs/Deputies/Externals/Chairs of the Board if there were problems with a particular paper after all marks were received. Any report to the Board of Examiners would be recorded in the Board Minutes.

* NOTE: examination paper scrutiny meetings cover the setting of exam questions rather than the marking of scripts
