The SVAN957 is a multi-purpose digital sound level meter and analyser with single octaves for acoustic measurements, environmental monitoring and occupational health monitoring. This new generation of sound level meter is robust and lightweight while highly accurate and simple to use. Using three acoustic profiles the SVAN957 can measure values such as Leq, LMax, LMin, LPeak, Spl, SEL or RMS using different weighting filters at the same. Ideal for times when measurement comparison is required. With an optional memory stick connected the SVAN957 can use the added memory to store more data or record the sound being measured in WAV format enabling playback the sounds being measured. Using this Time Domain Signal Recording is highly effective when noise identification is required and monitoring is left untended. With the SvanPC+ Software communication with the sound level meter and PC becomes simple and straightforward allowing setup and control of the sound meter and download of data to a PC for further analysis. The SVAN957 also has optional extras for third octaves, statistical calculations, acoustic dose measurements, FFT analysis and Reverberation Time measurements.
