Homework Activities: Complete advantages and disadvantages on online shopping

Other relevant information required for the lesson:

Initial thoughts for evaluation how did it go?: (Completed full evaluation Y/N ) : Video played on online shopping and what to be careful for when students walking in majority of students engaged with this Lesson went well, starter activity worked, I gave clear instructions to the students, split them up and told them what was expected. Each group and group member engaged with the task and I monitored them whilst this activity was going on Objectives were introduced to the class, students were made aware what was expected, students were clear on what everyone must complete, what some should and what some could. Students split up into a & b, students worked individually to find information on price comparison and fed this back to the class students were also asked to put their answer on answergarden.com students made the mistake of just putting all answers on answergarden and writing irrelevant things students told to put points on powerpoint slides answergarden resetup students fed back advantages and disadvantages of price comparison and put answer on answer garden. This activity worked really well, although by getting students to feed back then put answers on answergarden and then talk about them again was a little repetitive. Trust worthy websites introduced students were told what to look out for and how to identify trust worthy websites class debate held on this/discussion as a class, we looked at natwest.com and identified the reasons why it is a trust worthy website. Students then found websites of their own and looked at why they were trustworthy etc Dodgy websites related to real life with scenario students given 2 examples of things I have bought or found online that were dodgy this opened up a discussion in the class students then found websites and identified if they could trust them or not

Other activities in the lesson worked extremely well Plenary was good hot seating needed more time to do this and should have been done with more students students enjoyed this activity and will try it again next lesson
