In case of conflict between purchase specification, contract documents and ITP, more stringent conditions shall be applicable. This document describes generally the requirements pertaining to all types of the item. Requirements specific to PO and the item are only applicable. Acceptance Norms for all the activities shall be as per PO/PR/STANDARDS referred there in /Job Specification /Approved Documents. Wherever order is placed on stockiest, the item shall be accepted based on manufacturer's TC conforming compliance with requirements as per material specification & PR. All hold / witness stages shall be considered as "Review" by TPIA in that case.

1. Vendor to note that no correspondence whatsoever shall be entered into or entertained after the bid submission. Vendor shall furnish quotations only for those items, for which he is approved by EIL and which he can supply strictly as per MR specifications. No technical details of any nature shall be included in the offer. If the offer contains any technical deviation or clarification or stipulates any technical specifications (even if in line with the MR requirements), the offer shall be liable for rejection. However, For items where the vendor has entered into MOU with EIL,he may state that the offer is as per MOU with EIL. The submission of prices by the vendor shall be construed to mean that he has confirmed compliance with all technical specifications of the corresponding item(s).

INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS FOR SUBMISSION OF PRICES IN CD (for PIPING BULK ITEMS)

1. Insert the technical CD (enclosed with RFQ) in the CD drive. 2. Using the windows explorer, go to the folder name REQUISITION. This folder contains an excel file named jobno + mr.sr.no. For example, if jobno is 1111 and mr.sr.no is 3030 then the file will be 11113030.xls. 3. Copy this file to your hard drive. 4. Select the file name and right click on the same. Click on properties option from the Pop Up menu.

Uncheck the option read only as shown above. Click on OK. Now open this excel file using MS Excel. Enter the prices in Unit price column. In case any item is not to be quoted, leave the unit price column blank. 10. You must not change any other column otherwise the bid shall be liable for rejection. 11. You must enter the currency in which prices have been quoted. 12. After filling the prices, supplier should save the file and then copy this file in a new CD at root only. 13. This CD must be submitted to EIL along with the priced offer within a sealed envelope.
