ACT No. 20 OF 2004. An Act to repeal the Tamil Nadu Animals and Birds Sacrifices Prohibition Act, 1950.

BE it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Tamil Nadu in the Fifty-fifth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

1. (1) This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Animals and Birds Sacrifices Prohibition (Repeal) Act, 2004.
(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 20th day of February 2004.

4. (1) The Tamil Nadu Animals and Birds Ordinance, 2004 is hereby repealed.

Sacrifices Prohibition (Repeal)

(2) Notwithstanding such repeal anything done or any action taken under the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken under this Act.
