1. "While I Was Worthiest Of Them All . . ." Ali (A.s)

He said: Abul Hasan Ali b. Muhammad al-Katib reported to me from al-Hasan b. Ali al-Zafarani, who reported from Abu Ishaq Ibrahim b. Muhammad al-Thaqafi, who reported from al-Masoodi, who reported from al-Hasan b. Hammad, from his father, who reported from Razin Bayya' alAnmat, who said: I heard Zaid b. Ali b. Husain, peace be upon him, narrating from his father who reported from his father who said: I heard Amirul Mo'mineen, peace be upon him, addressing the people thus:

"By Allah (S.w.t.) , people gave allegiance to Abu Bakr (L.a.) while I was worthiest of them all, together with the attire of mine. But I swallowed my anger, and waited for my Sustainer's will, keeping my chest low to the ground (i.e. adopting a low profile). Then Abu Bakr (L.a.) died, appointing Umar (L.a.) as his successor, though he knew that I was the worthiest of them all, together with this attire of mine. But I swallowed my anger and waited for my Sustainer's will. Then Umar (L.a.) died and made it an agenda for the consultative committee (al-Shura). He appointed me the sixth among the six members, like the share of the grandmother! and he said: 'Kill the dissenting minority;' and by this he meant no one but me. But I swallowed my fury, waited for my Sustainer's will and kept my chest low on the ground. Then, the dissenting people did what they did after having sworn allegiance to me; and I had no alternative but either to fight against them or disobey Allah (S.w.t.) ."

2. Disassociating In The Matter Of TheWilayah Of Ahlul Bait (A.s.)

Abu Abdillah Ja'far b. Muhammad, peace be upon him told him: "What do you say about a person who does not disobey in what Allah (S.w.t.) has enjoined and forbidden, but he disassociates with you and your friends in this matter (i.e. wilayah of Ahlul Bait (A.s.) )?" I said: "What can I say in your presence?" He said: "Say, for I command you to speak." I said: "He will be in hell fire." Then he said: "O Mayassar, what do you say about a person who has faith similar to yours, and has committed sins normally committed by people, but he refrains from the major sins?" I said: "What can I say in your presence?" He said: "Say, for that is my order." I said: "He will be in Paradise." He said: "Perhaps you are hesitating in saying that such a person will be in Paradise!" I said: "No" He said: "Do not hesitate, for surely, Allah (S.w.t.) , Most High, says (in the Qur'an): 'If you avoid the heinous sins that are forbidden you, We will expiate your evil deeds and admit you in honorable manner.' (al-Nisa:V.31)"
(Ref: Al-Amali Shaikh Mufeed : The Nineteenth Assembly : Hadees No :4)

3."Ask Me Before You Miss Me. . ." Ali (A.s)

He said: Abul Hasan Ali b. Bilal al-Mahlabi reported to me from Ali b. Abdillah b. Asad alIsfehani, who reported from Ibrahim b. Muhammad al-Thaqafi, who reported from al-Qannad, who reported from Ali b. Hashim, from his father, from Saeed b. al- Musayyib who said:

I heard Amirul Mo'mineen Ali b. Abi Talib, peace be upon him, say: "There is no verse between the two covers of the Qur'an, except that I know for whom it was revealed and when it was revealed, and whether on a plain, leveled land or upon a mountain. Surely, here in my breast is abundant knowledge! So, put your questions to me before you do not find me among yourselves, for when you have lost me, you will not find anyone uttering the words I utter."

4.The Tradition OfAyyub (A.s.)

He said: Abul Hasan Ali b. Muhammad al-Katib reported to me from al-Hasan b. Ali al-Zafarani, who reported from Ibrahim b. Muhammad al-Thaqafi, who reported from Ismail b. Aban, who reported from Fadhl b. al-Zubair, from Imran b. Mitham, from Abayah al-Asadi, who said:

I heard Ali (A.s.) , peace be upon him, say: "I am the master of the aged ones. And in me is the tradition of Ayyub (A.s.) (i.e. his sufferings), and by Allah (S.w.t.) , He will gather together my family for me, the way He did for Ya'qoob (A.s.) ."
(Ref: Al-Amali Shaikh Mufeed : The Eighteenth Assembly : Hadees no.4)

5.Doubting The Excellence Of Ali (A.s)

He said: Abul Hasan Ali b. Khalid al-Maraghi reported to me from Abu Abdillah al- Asadi, who reported from Ja'far b. Abdullah at Alawi al-Muhammadi; who reported from Yahya b. Hashim al-Simsar al-Ghassani, who reported from Abu al-Sabah Abdul Ghafoor al-Wasiti, from Abdullah b. Muhammad al-Qarshi, from Abu Ali al- Hasan b. Ali al-Rasibi, from al-Dhahhak b. Muzahim, from Ibn Abbas - may Allah bless him with mercy, who reported that:

The Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny said: "Whoever doubts the excellence of Ali b. Abi Talib, peace be upon him, will rise from his grave on the Day of Reckoning, with a collar of fire around his neck, having three hundred prongs. On each prong, there will be a Satan frowning upon him, spitting at his face."
(Ref: Al-Amali Shaikh Mufeed : The Eighteenth Assembly : Hadees No.3)

6.What Salman Said About Ali (A.s)

He said: Abul Hasan Ali b. Muhammad b. Hubaish al-Katib reported to me from al- Hasan b. Ali al-Zafarani, who reported from Ibrahim b. Muhammad al-Thaqafi, who reported from alMasoodi, who reported from Yahya b. Salim al-Abdi, who reported from Maysarah, from alMinhal b. Amru, from Zarr b. Hubaish who said:

Once, Ali b. Abi Talib, peace be upon him, passed by riding the Prophet's mule and Salman was present among the people.

11

So Salman - may Allah bless him with mercy, said: "(O people)!do you not rise to detain him and ask him questions? By Allah (S.w.t.) , Who split the grain and created the breathing creatures, no one but he (i.e. Ali (A.s.) ) will inform you about the secrets of your Prophet (S.a.w.w.) . Indeed, he is the most learned about this earth and its chief element on which it rests. If you miss him, you will miss the knowledge and deny the people (its benefit)."
(Ref: Al-Amali Shaikh Mufeed The Seventeenth Assembly Hadees No. 2)

7.Fatema(S.a) On TheDay Of Judgement

He said: Abu Ja'far Muhammad b. Ali b. Musa reported from his father, who reported from Ali b. Ibrahim b. Hashim, from his father, from Ibn Abi Umayr, from Aban b.Uthman, that: Abu Abdillah Ja'far b. Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

On the Day of Judgment, Allah (S.w.t.) will bring together the first and the last people on one plane and then He will cause an announcement to be made: "Cast down your glances and lower your heads, so that Fatema (S.a), daughter of Muhammad, peace be upon him and his progeny, crosses the Bridge (al-Sirat). "He said: "People will cast down their glances and then Fatema (S.a), peace be upon her, will arrive seated on one of the highbred animals of Paradise, followed by 70 thousand angels. Then she will make a distinguished pause at one of the high stations on the Day of Judgment, dismount and take the blood soiled shirt of al-Husain b. Ali peace be upon him, in her hands, saying: "O Allah (S.w.t.) ! This shirt belongs to my son, and You know what was done to him." There will be proclamation from Allah (S.w.t.) , Most High: "O Fatema (S.a), you have My pleasure." She will say: "Help me avenge from those who killed him." Allah (S.w.t.) will then command a flame from hellfire to leap forth and devour all the killers of al-Husain b. Ali, peace be upon him, the way a bird

12

devours a seed. The flame will take them back into the hell pit, subjecting them to various chastisements. Then Fatema (S.a),will ride again and proceed to enter Paradise, accompanied by the angels following her, her descendants before her and her friends and partisans on her right and on her left."

8.Will Be Like TheJews

He said: Abul Husain Muhammad b. al-Mudhaffer al-Bazzaz reported to me from Abu Abdillah Ja'far b. Muhammad al-Hasani, who reported from Idris b. Ziyad al-Kafrsosi, who reported from Hannan b. Sudair, from Sudaif al-Makki who reported from Muhammad b. Ali, peace be upon hm (commenting that I have not seen any believer of Muhammad to match his excellence) who reported from Jabir b. Abdillah al-Ansari, who said:

Once, the Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny, caused an announcement to be made among the Muhajir and Ansar, so they assembled with their weapons. The Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny, climbed the pulpit, praised Allah (S.w.t.) and expressed his gratitude to Him. Then he said: "O Muslims, whoever hates us, the Ahlul Bait (A.s.) , Allah (S.w.t.) shall resurrect him on the day of Judgment as a follower of Judaism." Jabir said: I stood up and asked: "O Messenger of Allah (S.w.t.) , will it happen even if I testify that there is no god but Allah (S.w.t.) , and that Muhammad (S.a.w.w.) is the Messenger (S.a.w.w.) of Allah (S.w.t.) ?" He said: "If he testified that there is no god but Allah (S.w.t.) , that saved him from his blood being spilled and from paying the tax submissively and with humility." Then the Prophet , peace be upon him and his progeny said: "Whoever hates us, theAhlul Bait (A.s.), Allah (S.w.t.) shall resurrect him, as a follower of Judaism on the Day of Judgment, and if he ever met Dajjal, he would be his partisan. And, even if he did not meet him (i.e. Dajjal), he would be resurrected in his grave, so that he believes in him (i.e. Dajjal).

13

Surely, Allah (S.w.t.) made the whole of my Ummah appear before me while still in dust, and taught me their names, the way he taught all the names to Adam (A.s.) . So, standard bearers passed by me and I prayed for forgiveness, in favor of Ali (A.s.) and his followerscont..

9.Love For Four Companions; Which Ones?

The Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny, said: "Surely, Allah (S.w.t.) has commanded me to love four of my companions; and has revealed to me that He indeed loves them." We said: "Who are they, O Messenger of Allah (S.a.w.w.) ? And there is none from us who does not wish to be among them." He, peace be upon him and his progeny, said: "Be it known that Ali (A.s.) is among them" - and he repeated this three times - "and al-Miqdad and Abu Dharr al-Ghifari and Salman al-Farsi."
(Ref: Al-Amali Shaikh Mufeed: The Fifteenth Assembly: Hadees No.2)

10.The Revelation Descended In Our Homes ........

He said: Abul Hasan Ahmad b. Muhammad b. al-Hasan reported to me from his father, from Sa'd b. Abdillah, from Ahmad b Muhammad b. Isa, from al-Hasan b. Mahboob from Yahya b. Abdillah b. al-Hasan who said:

I heard Ja'far b. Muhammad, peace be upon him, say in the presence of people of Kufa:

14

"It is surprising to hear people claim that they have derived all their knowledge from the Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny, and having acted accordingly, they are guided. And they believe that we, Ahlul Bait (A.s.) , have not derived his knowledge, nor have we been guided by him, in spite of being his family members and descendants! The revelation descended in our homes, and from us the knowledge reached the people. Do you believe that they knew and were guided, while we remained ignorant and lost? This is indeed impossible."
(Ref: Al Amali Shaikh Mufeed: The Fourteenth Assembly : Hadees No.6)

11.Good Deeds Equal To That Of 70 Prophets Would Be Rejected

The Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny, said: "What has happened to some people in my Ummah, who become cheerful and jubilant when Ibrahim (A.s.) and the progeny of Ibrahim (A.s.) are mentioned to them; but when I and my progeny are mentioned, they detest it and frown at it! By He Who sent me as a truthful Prophet, if a person dies after having performed the (good) deeds of 70 Prophets, but he has no liking for the authority of our Ahlul Bait (A.s.) , Allah (S.w.t.) will not accept his obligatory or voluntary acts of worship."
(Ref: Al-Amali Shaikh Mufeed: The Thirteenth Assembly: Hadees No. 8)

15

12.Ali (A.s)'s Soul Was The First To Greet The Prophet (S.a.w.w.)
He said: Abu Bakr Muhammad b. Umar al-Je'abi reported to me from Abu Abdillah Muhammad b. al-Qasim al-Muharibi, who reports from Ismail b. Ishaq al-Rashidi, who reported from Muhammad b. al-Harith, who reported from Ibrahim b. The Prophet (S.a.w.w.) , peace be upon him and his progeny, said: "Allah (S.w.t.) , Most High, created the souls two thousand years earlier then the bodies, attached it to the Throne and ordered them to greet me and obey me. So the first one among men who greeted me and expressed his obedience to me was the soul of Ali b. Abi Talib, peace be uponhim."

The Messenger of Allah (S.a.w.w.) said: On the night of Meraaj, I heard a call from under the Throne that said, Ali (A.s.) is the sign of guidance and he is the heir of My love (the Prophet), so announce it. When I came down from the heavens, Allah (S.w.t.) reminded me of this incident through the revelation of this verse, " O Messenger (S.a.w.w.), deliver what has been sent down to you from your Lord. And if you do not do it (it will be as if) you have not delivered His message (at all)" (5:67).

The Messenger of Allah (S.a.w.w.) said, If all the trees were pens, and all the seas were ink, and all the Jinn were counters, and all human beings were writers, they would not be able to count the incredible virtues of Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.) .

Abu Abdillah Ahmad bin Mohammad bin Ayyoub narrated from Ali bin Mohammad bin Ayyenah bin Rowaida, from Bakr bin Ahmad and Ahmad bin Mohammad bin Al-Jarrah, from Ahmad bin Fazl Al-Ahwazi, from Bakr bin Ahmad, from Mohammad bin Ali (9th Imam), from his father, from Musa bin Jaafar, from his father, from Mohammad bin Ali, from Fatema Imam Husains daughter, from her father Husain bin Ali, and from her uncle, Imam Hasan bin Ali, from the Commander of the Believers, Ali bin Abi Taleb, who said:

The Messenger of Allah (S.a.w.w.) said: When I entered Paradise, I saw some different coloured horses under a tree that was decorated with jewels. I saw HUR AL-EEN in the middle of the tree, and I saw Rizwan on top of the tree. So I asked Jibraeel to whom the tree belonged. He (Jibraeel) replied: It belongs to your cousin, Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.) . When Allah (S.w.t.) orders His creatures to enter Paradise, the Shia of Ali (A.s.) will be brought to this tree. They will decorate themselves from the jewels of the tree and they will ride the different coloured horses. Then the caller will call, These are the Shia
17

of Ali (A.s.) . They were patient when they were hurt in the world, so they are being rewarded with generosity today.

16.A City For Each Vein

Allah (S.w.t.) loves those who love Ali (A.s.) and follow him, and (Allah (S.w.t.) ) guides them to the right path. If patience was a person, it would be Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.) ; and if moral excellence was a person it would be Hasan (A.s.) ; and if modesty was a person it would be Husain (A.s.) ; and if everything that is good were to be a person it would be Fatema (S.a.), and she is even better than that. The origin of my daughter, Fatema (S.a.), is greater than any other inhabitant on earth, as is her honor and her generosity.

Jibraeel replied, O Mohammad (S.a.w.w.) ! This light is not from the sun nor is it from the moon. This (light) is from one of Ali bin Abi Talebs (A.s.) maids. She came out of her palace and she looked at you and smiled. The light that you saw was from her teeth, and she will walk around in Paradise until the Commander of the Believers, Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.) , will enter Paradise.

The Messenger of Allah (S.w.t.) asked me to saddle his mule, so I did. Then the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) rode and I followed him. When we arrived at the house of the Commander of the Believers (A.s.), the Prophet asked me to saddle Ali (A.s.)s mule, so I did. The Prophet (S.a.w.w.) and Ali (A.s.) rode together and I was following them until they came to a green and beautiful land. Then a white cloud covered them so I went closer and I heard a loud voice saying: ASSALAAMU ALAIKUMA WA RAHMATULLAH WA BARAKATU. They answered the Salaam. Then Jibraeel came down, and then I could no longer see them. Then when Jibraeel went back up, I saw the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) call Ali (A.s.). The Prophet (S.a.w.w.) gave Ali (A.s.) an apple that had the following statement written on it with the power of Allah (S.w.t.) , This is a present from the Predominant Lord to his WALI, Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.) .

The Messenger of Allah (S.w.t.) said: O Salman! Those who love Fatema (S.a.), my daughter, will be with me in Paradise, and those who hate her will be in Hell. O Salman! The love of Fatema (S.a.) will be beneficial in one hundred difficult instances. The least difficult of these instances will be at the time of death, in the grave, at the scale, the gathering of people on the Day of Judgment, the bridge, the display (of your book), and the calculation. I am pleased with those with whom Fatema (S.a.) is pleased, and Allah (S.w.t.) is pleased with those with whom I am pleased. I am angry with those with whom Fatema (S.a.) is angry, and Allah (S.w.t.) is angry with those with whom I am angry. Woe unto those who are unjust to her (S.a.) and to her husband, the Commander of the Believers (A.s.) . Woe unto those who are unjust to her Shia and to her progeny.

So Husain bin Zaid said to Jaafar bin Mohammed (A.s.) , But you say that he is the first caliph of the Prophet (S.a.w.w.), and you do not lie. Jaafar bin Mohammad (A.s.) replied: Yes. Allah (S.w.t.) says in the Qur'an, When Your Lord said to the angels: Verily I am going to appoint a caliph in the earth" (2:30). So Adam (A.s.) was the first caliph. And Allah (S.w.t.) says in the Quran. " O Dawud (A.s.) ! Verily we have appointed you as a caliph in the earth" (38:26). So Dawud (A.s.) was the second caliph. And Allah (S.w.t.) says in the Quran. "Musa (A.s.) said to Harun (A.s.) , take my place (be my caliph) among my people, act rightly" (7:142).So Harun (A.s.) was the third caliph. And Ali (A.s.) is the caliph of Mohammad (S.a.w.w.) . You are an Imam, the son of an Imam, and father of the Imams. He is the master of the truthful ones. He is the beauty of the successors. He is the Imam of the pious and he is the leader of the believers.
38

On the Day of Judgement, Ali (A.s.) will ride on a camel from the camels of Paradise, and the light of the camel will light the entire plain on which the judgement process will take place. Because he will be wearing a crown made of sapphires and gems, the angels will say that Ali (A.s.) is a high-ranked angel and the prophets will say that he is a prophet. Then the caller will call from inside the Throne, This is the most truthful; this is the heir of Allah (s.w.t.)s love (the Prophet (S.a.w.w.)); this is Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.) . Ali (A.s.) will stand on top of Hell. Whoever he does not love will enter Hell, and whoever he loves will be saved. Then Ali (A.s.) will come to the gates of Paradise and his friends and Shia will enter from any door they choose, without judgement.

The Throne of Allah (S.w.t.) is on top of this mountain. The rivers of Paradise blast from the sides of this mountain and flow into the gardens of Paradise. Ali (A.s.) will be sitting on a chair made of light and the river of Tasneem will run in front of him. No one will be allowed to cross the bridge without a pass that states Ali(A.s.)s Wilayat and the Wilayat of his family. So Allah (S.w.t.) sent a revelation to him and said, You praised Me, My slave. I swear by My Glory and Magnificence that if it was not for two slaves I would not have created you. Adam (A.s.) asked, My Lord, are they from me? Allah (S.w.t.) replied, Yes. O Adam (A.s.), raise your head and look up. Adam (A.s.) raised his head and saw (the following) written on the Throne of Allah (S.w.t.) :
41

There is no god except Allah(S.w.t.) : Mohammad(S.a.w.w.) is the Messenger of Allah (S.w.t.), he is the Prophet of Mercy and Ali (A.s.) is the decisive proof of Allah (S.w.t.) . The Prophet (S.a.w.w.) replied, Yes, but do you not know that the one who carries the flag is in front of everyone? And Ali (A.s.) will be the flag bearer on the Day of Judgement who will be in front of me. He is the owner of my flag so he will enter Paradise before I do. He will lead with the flag and I will follow directly behind him. Then Ali (A.s.) stood up, his face beaming with joy, and said , Praise the Lord that honoured us through you, O Messenger of Allah (S.a.w.w.) .

Ahmad bin Mohammad bin Sulaymaan narrated from Jaafar bin Mohammad, from Yaqoub bin Yazid, from Safwan bin Yahya, from Dawud bin Haseen, from Amr bin Othaina, from Jaafar bin Mohammad, from his father, from Ali bin Husain, from his father, who said: 42

The Messenger of Allah (S.a.w.w.) said: O Ali (A.s.) , your example in my nation is like Al-Messiah Isa (Marys son). His people were divided in three groups: one group were the believers and they were the Disciples; another group was against him and those were the Jews; and the third group exaggerated about his status (thought he was the son of Allah (S.w.t.)) so they are out of the circle of belief. Likewise, my nation will be divided in three groups: one group is your Shia and they are the believers; one group is your enemies and they are the ones with doubt; and one group will be those who exaggerate your status (they call you Allah (S.w.t.)) and they are disbelievers. Therefore, you, O Ali (A.s.), your Shia, and those who love your Shia are in Paradise. Your enemies and those who exaggerate (who call you Allah) are in Hell.

The Messenger of Allah (S.a.w.w.) said to Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.): O Abal Hasan (A.s.)! If the beliefs of the entire creation and their good deeds were put on one side of a scale and your good deeds, for only one day, on the other side of the scale, your good deeds for a single day would undoubtedly be greater than all of the good deeds of the entire creation. In the Battle of Uhud, Allah (S.w.t.) boasted about you to his high-ranked angels. He removed the covers from the seven heavens on that day, and Paradise and everything in it started shining for you. The Lord of the Worlds was pleased with what you did, and Allah (S.w.t.) will reward you for that day with a reward which will make all of the prophets, the messengers, the truthful ones, and the martyrs envy you.

44

light to the inhabitants of earth. There is writing on both sides. Do you know what is written (on both sides of the sun)? We replied, Allah (S.w.t.) and His Messenger (S.a.w.w.) know better. The Prophet (S.a.w.w.) said, The writing on the side that gives light to the heavens says, Allah (S.w.t.) is the light of the heavens and earth' (24:35). I was a young boy serving Ayesha (L.a.), and when the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) was with her, I used to serve them. One day, while the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) was sitting with Ayesha (L.a.), someone knocked at the door. I opened the door and it was a maid with a
45

covered dish, so I went back and I told Ayesha (L.a.). Ayesha (L.a.) told me to bring her in. She came in and put the dish in front of Ayesha (L.a.), and Ayesha (L.a.) put it in front of the Prophet (S.a.w.w.). So the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) started eating from the dish and the maid left. Then the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) said, I wish the Commander of the Believers (A.s.), the Master of Muslims (A.s.) , and the Imam of the pious (A.s.) was here eating with me. Ayesha (L.a.) said, To whom are you referring that has all of these titles? The Prophet (S.a.w.w.) did not answer. Then he repeated what he said. She (Ayesha (L.a.)) asked again, To whom are you referring that has all of these titles? But the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) did not answer. Then someone knocked at the door and I opened it. It was Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.). I went back and told the Prophet (S.a.w.w.), and he said to bring him in. The Prophet (S.a.w.w.) said, O Abal Hasan (A.s.), welcome. I wished for you twice. When you did not come, I asked Allah (S.w.t.) to bring you for me. So sit down and eat with me. Then Ali (A.s.) sat down and ate with the Prophet (S.a.w.w.). Then the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) said, O Ali (A.s.), may Allah (S.w.t.) fight those who fight you, and may Allah (S.w.t.) be the enemy of your enemies. So Ayesha (L.a.) said, Who will fight him and be his enemy? The Prophet (S.a.w.w.) replied to her, You and those with you. You will accept fighting him and will not refuse it. The Prophet (S.a.w.w.) repeated this twice.

64. The Gate To Allah (S.w.t.)

Mohammad bin Hasan bin Ahmad narrated from Mohammad bin Husain, from Ibrahim bin Hashem, from Mohammad bin Sinan, from Ziyad bin Munthir, from Saeed bin Turayf, from Asbagh bin Nobata, from Ibn Abbas, who said:

46

I heard the Messenger of Allah (S.a.w.w.) say, O people! Understand that Allah (S.w.t.) has made a gate to Himself for you. If you enter from it you will be safe from Hell and the great terror. Then Abu Saeed Al-Khodri stood up and said, Guide us to this door so we recognize it. The Prophet (S.a.w.w.) replied: It is Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.), the Master of Successors, the Commander of the Believers, brother of the Messenger of Allah (S.a.w.w.), and Allahs (S.w.t.) caliph on all people. O people! Those of you who love to hold on to the firmest handle that never breaks off, hold on to Ali bin Abi Talebs (A.s.) Wilayat. His Wilayat is my Wilayat, and obeying him is obeying me. O people! Those of you who want to know who Allahs (S.w.t.) decisive proof is after me, know that it is Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.). O people! Those of you who want to follow Allah (S.w.t.) and His Messenger (S.a.w.w.), follow Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.) and the Imams from my family because they are the keepers of my knowledge. Then Jabir bin Abdillah Al-Ansari asked, How many Imams are there? The Prophet (S.a.w.w.) replied: O Jabir! May Allah (S.w.t.) have mercy on you. You have asked me about the entire Islam. Their number is the number of the months. "Verily, the number of months with (S.w.t.) is twelve months in Allah's (S.w.t.) book since the day He created the heavens and the earth"(9:36) Their number is equal to the number of rivers that Allah (S.w.t.) created with a blast when Musa bin Imran hit the rock with his staff, which is twelve. Their number is equal to the number of the chiefs of Bani Israel, as Allah (S.w.t.) says in the Qur'an, We raised from among them twelve chiefs" (5:12) Therefore Jabir, the Imams are twelve. The first one is Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.) and the last one is Mahdi Al-Qaem (A.t.f.s.).

Narrates Ibne Umer ,He says that When We Inquired from the Holy Prophet (S.a.w.w.) about Hazrat Ali (A.s.),the Holy Prophet (S.a.w.w.) got infuriated and said. What has happened to these people who ask me about him whose respect and position near Allah (S.w.t.) is the same as mine, Take heed, that the one who loves Ali (A.s.), indeed loves me, and the one who loves me with him Allah (S.w.t.) is definitely pleased, and that will suffice for paradise. Take heed, that the one who loves Ali (A.s.), will not meet his death till he drinks the water of Kausar, tastes the fruit of Tuba and sees his palace in heaven , in this world itself. Take heed, that the namaz, fasts and rising (for the sake of religion) of the one who loves Ali (A.s.) will be accepted and all his prayers will be answered. Take heed, that the one who loves Ali (A.s.), for him would the angels seek forgiveness and for him all the 8 gates of heaven be opened and he would enter heaven unaccounted from which ever gate he wishes. Take heed, that the one who loves Ali (A.s.), would receive his books of accounts in his right hand, and Allah (S.w.t.) would take his accounts as He would take the account of Prophets.(ie with utmost respect) Take heed, that the one who loves Ali (A.s.), for him will Allah (S.w.t.) reduce the difficulty at the time of death and will make his grave as one of the gardens of paradise. Take heed, that the one who loves Ali (A.s.), to him will Allah (S.w.t.) give as many fairies (Houries) as the blood vessels in his body and will accept his intercession in favor of eighty people from his family and will grant him a fairy (Hourie) and a city in heaven equal to the number of hairs on his body.
49

Take heed, that the one who loves Ali (A.s.), to him will Allah (S.w.t.) send the angel of death with the same splendor as he sends to the Prophets, will protect him from the fright of Munkar and Nakir, will enlighten his face and he will be with Hazrat Hamza (A.s.) the leader of the martyrs (before Karbala ) in paradise. Take heed, that the one who loves Ali (A.s.), in his heart will Allah (S.w.t.) establish wisdom and will make words of goodness flow from his tongue and will open the doors of mercy on him. Take heed, that the one who loves Ali (A.s.), his name in the heavens and earth would be slave of Allah (S.w.t.). Take heed, that the one who loves Ali (A.s.), an angel announces from heaven, telling him, O, servant of Allah (s.w.t.), Allah (S.w.t.) has forgiven all your past sins and start your accounts afresh. Take heed, that the one who loves Ali (A.s.), on the day of Judgment he will come with such splendor that his face will be enlightened like that of the full moon on a dark night. Take heed, that the one who loves Ali (A.s.), on his head will Allah (S.w.t.) place a magnificent crown and will bestow on him a gown of respect. Take heed, that the one who loves Ali (A.s.), will pass from the bridge like lightening. Take heed, that the one who loves Ali (A.s.),for him will be written safety from hell, the bridge and punishment of the hereafter and his books of accounts would not be opened and nor for him be put up the scale for weighing deeds and he will be told to enter into heaven without any accounting. Take heed, that the one who loves Ali (A.s.) with him will the angles shake hands and him will the Prophets come to visit him and Allah (S.w.t.) will fulfill all his needs. Take heed, that the one who loves Aale Mohammed (A.s.) will not be frightened from accounting, the scale and the bridge.
50

Take heed, that the one who dies on the love of Aale Mohammed (A.s.), I take guarantee that he will be with the Prophets in heaven. Take heed, that the one who dies on the enmity of Aale Mohammed (A.s.), will not be able to smell the fragrance of heaven.

68. When Salaman Farsi Was Asked About Hazrat Ali (A.s.)
Mohammad bin Mohammad bin Murra narrated from Hasan bin Ali Al-Asemi, from Mohammad bin Abdil Malik bin Abi Al-Shawareb, from Jaafar bin Sulaymaan Al-Zabee, from Saad bin Zareef, from Asbagh, who said:

Salaman Al-Farsi was asked about the status of Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.) and Fatema (S.a.). So Salaman Al-Farsi said that he heard the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) say: Pay attention to Ali (A.s.) because he is your master, so love him. He is the most respected, so follow him. He is the most knowledgeable among you, so honour him. He is your leader to Paradise... When he calls you, answer his call. When he orders you, obey him. Love him for me and respect him for me. I did not say any of this about Ali (A.s.) without an order from Allah the Great.

69. What The Nobel Angels Said

Abul Tayyeb Mohammad bin Husain Al-Taimali narrated from Motair bin Mohammad bin Abdillah, from Yahya Al-Jammal, from Hisham, from Abu Harun Al-Abdi, from Abi Saeed AlKhodri, who said:

The Messenger of Allah (S.a.w.w.) said: On the night of Meraaj, I did not pass through any of the skies or any of its layers without finding it filled with noble angels calling me and saying:
51

O Mohammad (S.a.w.w.)! Enjoy what Allah (S.w.t.) gave no one before you and no one after you. You were given Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.) as a brother; Fatema (S.a.w.w.), his wife, as a daughter; Hasan (A.s.) and Husain (A.s.) as sons; and their lovers, as your Shia. O Mohammad (S.a.w.w.)! You are the best of the prophets; Ali (A.s.) is the best of successors; Fatema (S.a.) is the Master of All the Worlds Women; Hasan (A.s.) and Husain (A.s.) are the most respected of all of those who enter Paradise; and their Shia are the best of people on the Day of Judgement. They (their Shia) will gather in the rooms of Paradise, its palaces, and its parks. The angels continued saying this while I was going up until I came back down. If it was not for Allah (S.w.t.) preventing this from being heard, everyone, from among the people and the Jinn, would have heard it.

70. He Is The Imam Of My Nation

Ahmad bin Mohammad narrated from Mohammad bin Jaafar, from Mohammad bin Husain, from Mohammad bin Sinan, from Ziyad bin Munthir, from Saeed bin Jubair, from Ibn Abbas, who said:

The Messenger of Allah (S.w.t.) said: No one has a higher status than Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.) except me. He is the Imam of my nation, he is my heir, and he is my successor. Those who follow him are guided to the right path; those who follow anyone other than him are lost and have strayed off the right path. Indeed, I am the chosen prophet. I do not say this about Ali (A.s.) from my own inclination. What I say is nothing but revelation brought by Jibraeel from Allah (S.w.t.), who owns everything in the skies and in the earth, and

whatever is between the skies and the earth, and whatever is under the earth.

71. Those Who Abandon You, Abandon Me

Mohammad bin Saeed Al-Dehqan narrated from Mohammad bin Masoud, from Ahmad bin Isa Al-Alawi, from Husain from Abi Khalid and Zaid bin Ali, from his father (4th Imam), from Husain bin Ali, from the Commander of the Believers (A.s.), who said:

I (Imam Ali (A.s.)) went to the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) when he was in one of his houses. I asked his permission to enter and he granted it. When I entered, the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) asked me, O Ali (A.s.)! Do you not know that my house is your house? Why do you seek permission to enter? I replied, I like to do that. The Prophet (S.a.w.w.) said: You like what Allah (S.w.t.) likes and you use His manners. O Ali (A.s.)! Do you not know that you are my brother, and my Creator did not want me to have a brother other than you? O Ali (A.s.)! You are my heir, and you will be oppressed and wronged after my death. O Ali (A.s.)! Those who are devoted to following you are like those who live with me (in my place in Paradise), and those who abandon you, abandon me. O Ali (A.s.)! Those who think that they love me but hate you, lie because Allah (S.w.t.) created me and you from the same light.

72. When Angels Want To Praise Allah (S.w.t.) ??????

Abu Abdillah Mohammad bin Ali bin Zanjoweyh narrated from Mohammad bin Jaafar, from Jaafar bin Salama, from Ibrahim bin Mohammad, from Abu Ghassan, from Yahya bin Salama, from his father, from Abi Edris, from Mosayyeb, from the Commander of the Believers, who said:

53

I swear to Allah (S.w.t.) that the Messenger of Allah (S.a.w.w.) made me the successor of his nation. Therefore, I am Allah (S.w.t.)s decisive proof after the Prophet (S.a.w.w.), and I swear that following me is mandatory on the inhabitants of the heavens as it is on the inhabitants of earth. When angels want to praise Allah (S.w.t.) they talk about my qualities. O people! Follow me and I will guide you to the path of righteousness. Do not go right or left because you will get lost. I am the heir of your Prophet (S.a.w.w.) and his successor. I am the Imam of the pious and the believers; I am their commander and their Master. I will lead my Shia to Paradise and my enemies to Hell. I am Allah (S.w.t.)s sword on His enemies and I am His mercy on His friends. I am the owner of the Prophets Pool (Pool of Kawthar) and I carry h is flag. I have his position and I have his right of intercession. Me (A.s.), Hasan (A.s.), Husain (A.s.), and the nine sons of Husain (A.s.), are Allah (S.w.t.)s successors in His land. We are the only ones trustworthy of His revelation. We are the Imams of Muslims after the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) and we are Allah (S.w.t.)s decisive proofs on His creatures.

73. The Master Of Muslims

Mohammad bin Hammad bin Bashir narrated from Mohammad bin Hasan bin Abdil Karim, from Ibrahim bin Maymun and Uthman bin Saeed, from Abdul Karim bin Yaqoub, from Ziyaa Al Jofi, from Abi Tufail, from Anas bin Malik, who said:

I (Anas bin Malik) was the servant of the Prophet (S.a.w.w.). Once while I was helping the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) do his WUDHU (ablution), the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) said, The person who will enter just now is the Commander of the Believers, the Master of Muslims, and the best of successors. He is worthy of having a
54

higher authority on people than they have on themselves, and he is the glorified leader of those who seek Allah (S.w.t.). O Allah (S.w.t.), make it someone from the Ansar, I (Anas bin Malik) prayed to myself. Then someone knocked at the door. It was Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.). When Ali (A.s.) entered, the Prophet (S.a.w.w.)s face started to sweat profusely. The Prophet (S.a.w.w.) wiped the sweat from his face and put it over Ali (A.s.)s face. Did you receive a revelation? Ali (A.s.) asked (the Prophet (S.a.w.w.)) The Messenger of Allah (S.w.t.) said, You are from me; you repay my debt; you perform my religious affairs; you will clear my liabilities; and you will preach my prophet hood, the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) replied. Did you not preach it yourself? Ali (A.s.) asked. Yes I did, but people need to learn the TAWEEL (deeper, inner meaning) of Qur'an, after me, and you will teach them things that they did not learn during my time, the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) replied.

74. The Greatest Separator Of Right From Wrong

Ahmad bin Mohammad bin Abdillah bin Ayyash Al-Hafez narrated from the judge, Abdul Baqi bin Fali, from Husain bin Mohammad, from Sulaymaan bin Qarm, from Mohammad bin Shaiba, from Dawud bin Ali, from his father, from his grandfather, Abdullah bin Abbas, who said:

The Messenger of Allah (S.w.t.) said to Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.): O Ali (A.s.), Jibraeel said something about you that made me extremely happy and pleased me. He (Jibraeel) said: O Mohammad (S.a.w.w.)! Allah (S.w.t.) told me to convey His Salaam to you and to tell you that Ali (A.s.) is the Imam of Guidance; he is the light in darkness; and he is My decisive proof on the people of the world.

55

He is the most truthful and the greatest separator of right from wrong. I forbid Myself to allow those who love him, follow him, and follow the Imams after him, to enter Hell. I forbid Myself to allow those who do not accept his Wilayat and do not follow him and the Imams after him to enter Paradise. I have most certainly committed to fill Hell with his enemies from among the people and the jinn, and to fill Paradise with his Shia and friends from among My creatures.

75. Lovers Of Ali Bin Abi Taleb (A.s.)

Sahl bin Ahmad Al-Taraeqi and Mohammad bin Abdillah Al-Kufi narrated from Mohammad bin Jarir Al-Tabari, from Khalaf bin Khalifa, from Yazid bin Harun, from Mohammad bin Ibrahim bin Ibrahim bin Mubasher, from Jabir bin Abdillah Al-Ansari, who said:

I was sitting with the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) when Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.) came. The Prophet (S.a.w.w.) brought him close to him, and wiped his (Ali (A.s.)s) forehead with his aba and said to him, O Abal Hasan (A.s.), shall I tell you the good news that Jibraeel gave me? Ali (A.s.) replied, Yes, O Messenger of Allah (S.w.t.). The Prophet said: There is a well in Paradise called Tasneem. Two rivers emerge from it and (they are so large that) all of the ships of the world can sail on them. There are several trees on the shores of Tasneem. Their branches are pearls and coral, and the grass there is saffron. Directly adjacent to the trees, there are people sitting on chairs made of light on whose foreheads, written in light, is These are the believers; these are the lovers of Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.).

76. Allah (S.w.t.)'s Decisive Proof

My father narrated from Mohammad bin Husain, from Mohammad bin Hasan Al-Saffar, from Ahmad bin Mohammad, from his father, from Abdullah bin Al-Moghira and Mohammad bin Yahya Al-Khathami, from Mohammad bin Bohloul Al-Abdi, from Jaafar bin Mohammad, from his father Mohammad bin Ali, from his father, from his father Husain bin Ali, who said:

The Messenger of Allah (S.w.t.) said that on the night of Meraaj, when he went up and passed the gates of light, Allah (S.w.t.) talked to him, and said: O Mohammad (S.a.w.w.)! Convey My Salaam to Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.), and inform him that he is My decisive proof on all creatures after you. I pour the rain of My blessings on My slaves through him; I keep everything evil away from them through him; and he is My decisive proof on them when they meet Me. So they should follow his commands, obey his orders, and abstain when he abstains. If they do so, I will sit them next to Me and I will allow them to enter My Paradise. If they do not, I will put them with the worst of My enemies in Hell and I will not care.

77. No One Disobeys You Except A Kafer

Mohammad bin Abdillah bin Abi Ubaidillah Al-Shaibani narrated from Mohammad bin Yahya AlTameemi, from Abu Qotada Al-Harrani, from his father, from Hareth bin Al-Khazraj the holder of the flag of Ansar, who said:

I heard the Messenger of Allah (S.a.w.w.) telling Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.) : No one precedes you after me except a Kafer, and no one disobeys you except a Kafer. The people of the skies call you the Commander of the Believers by the order of Allah (S.w.t.).

78. The Commander Of The Believers

Sahl bin Ahmad bin Abdillah narrated from Ali bin Abdillah, from Ishaaq bin Ibrahim Al -Debri, from Abdul Razzaq bin Hamam, from Moammar, from Abdullah bin Tawu s, from his father, from Ibn Abbas, who said:

We were sitting with the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) when Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.) entered. Ali (A.s.) said, ASSALAAMO ALAIKA, O Messenger of Allah (S.a.w.w.). The Prophet replied, WA ALAIK ASSALAAM, O Commander of the Believers. Ali (A.s.) responded, O Prophet (S.a.w.w.), you call me the Commander of Believers while you are still alive? The Prophet (S.a.w.w.) answered, Yes, while I am alive. Then the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) continued, O Ali (A.s.)! You passed by Jibraeel and I yesterday and did not say Salaam. So Jibraeel said, Why did the Commander of the Believers not say Salaam to us. I swear to Allah (S.w.t.), we would have been pleased if he had said Salaam to us and we would have responded. Ali (A.s.) answered, It looked like you and Dehya# were in a private meeting so I did not want to interrupt. The Prophet (S.a.w.w.) said, He was not Dehya, he was Jibraeel. I asked Jibraeel why he called you the Commander of the Believers. Jibraeel told me that in the Battle of Badr, Allah (S.w.t.) told Jibraeel to come to me (the Prophet (S.a.w.w.)) and tell me to order the Commander of the Believers to ride his horse in front of the army lines because the angels love to watch him do that. So Allah (S.w.t.) named you the Commander of the Believers that day in the heavens. Then the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) said, O Ali (A.s.)! You are the commander of everyone in the heavens and the commander of everyone on earth. You are the commander of those who have passed away and the commander of those who are yet to come.

58

There is no commander before you and no commander after you. It is forbidden for anyone who has not received this title from Allah (S.w.t.) to be called by this name.
(Ref : Bihar Volume 37 Pagae307 Hadees39) (# Dehya Al-Kalbi was one the companions of the Prophet (S.a.w.w.). He was raised by the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) and he was very handsome. It was very common for Angel Jibraeel to come down to Prophet (S.a.w.w.) in the form of Dehya. The Prophet (S.a.w.w.) had ordered his companions not to approach him when they saw him alone with Dehya. )

79. The Imam And The Successor After Me

Ahmad bin Mohammad bin Imran narrated from Hasan bin Mohammad Al-Askari, from Ibrahim bin Ubadillah, from Abdul Razza q, from Moammar, from Yahya bin Abi Katheer, from his father, from Abu Harun Al-Abdi, from Jabir bin Abdillah Al-Ansari, who said:

The Messenger of Allah (S.a.w.w.) said the following about Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.): He was the first one to believe in Islam; He is the most knowledgeable; He is the most correct one in his DEEN (religion); He is the most certain; He is the most patient; He is the most forgiving and generous; He is the most brave; He is the Imam and the successor after me.

80.The Glorified Leader Of The Believers

Mohammad bin Abdillah bin Ubaidillah narrated from Mohammad bin Qassem, from Abbad bin Yaqoub, from Amr bin Abi Al-Meqdam, from his father, from Saeed bin Jubair, from Ibn Abbas, who said:

The Messenger of Allah (S.a.w.w.) said: I swear to Allah (S.w.t.), who has sent me as a Warner and a Guide, that the Throne of Allah (S.w.t.) did not settle, the universes did not start moving, and the heavens and the planets were not created until after Allah (S.w.t.) wrote on them:

LA ILAHA ILLALLAH. MOHAMMADUN RASULLULLAH. ALIYUN WALIYULLAH. Then the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) explained what Allah (S.w.t.) told him, in His own voice: Allah (S.w.t.) said, O Mohammed (S.a.w.w.) I replied, LABBAYK WA SAADAYK. Allah (S.w.t.) said: I am Mahmoud and you are Mohammad (S.a.w.w.). I derived your name from mine and I made you superior to all of My creatures. Assign your brother, Ali (A.s.), to be a flag for My slaves to guide them to My religion. O Mohammad (S.a.w.w.)! I have made the believers the chosen ones, and I have made Ali (A.s.) their commander. Therefore, I curse those who give commands to Ali (A.s.) and I torture those who disobey him. But those who follow him, I will bring them closer to Me. O Mohammad (S.a.w.w.)! I have made Ali (A.s.) the Imam of Muslims. Those who proclaim to precede him, I disgrace them. I imprison those who disobey him. I have made Ali (A.s.) the master of all of the successors, and I have made him the glorified leader of the believers. He is My decisive proof on My entire creation.

Ahmad bin Mohammad narrated from his book, from Abdullah bin Jaafar, from Ibrahim bin Hashim, from Jaafar bin Mohammad bin Marwan, from his father, from Ubaidullah bin Yahya, from Mohammad bin Ali Al-Baqir (5th Imam), from his father, from Husain bin Ali, from the Commander of the Believers, who said:

The Messenger of Allah (S.w.t.) said the following about this verse, Cast you two every ingrate rebel into Hell"(50:24). O Ali (A.s.)! On the Day of Judgement, when Allah (S.w.t.) gathers all the creatures in the same desert, you and I will be on the right side of Allah (S.w.t.)s Throne and Allah (S.w.t.) will say, O Mohammad (S.a.w.w.) and Ali (A.s.) ! Stand up and throw those who hated you, did not believe you, and disobeyed you into Hell.

82. Following Maula Ali (A.s.) Is Wajib

Abul Qassem Jaafar bin Mohammad Al-Qulaweyh narrated from Ali bin Husain, from Ali bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ahmad bin Mohammad, from Mohammad bin Fuzail, from Thabet bin Abi Hamza, from Ali bin Husain(4th Imam), from his father, from the Commander of the Believers, who said:

The Messenger of Allah (S.w.t.) said: Allah (S.w.t.) has made it incumbent upon you to follow my command and he has forbidden you from disobeying me. He has made it Wajib on you to follow my orders and to obey Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.) after me. He is my brother, my minister, and he inherits all of my knowledge. He is from me and I am from him. Loving him is IMAN (faith) and hating him is KUFR (disbelief). Beware! Of whomsoever I am their MOWLA (Master), Ali (A.s.) is their MOWLA.

61

Ali (A.s.) and I are the fathers of this nation. Those who disobey their fathers will be gathered with Nuh (A.s.)s son on the Day of Judgement. Nuh (A.s.) told his son, O son ride with us and don't be from the Kafers. (His son replied) I will resort to a mountain." (11:42-43) Then the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) said, O Allah (S.w.t.), support those who support Ali (A.s.), disappoint those who disappoint him, befriend his friends, and be the enemy of his enemies. Then the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) started to cry. The Muhajerin (Immigrants of Mecca) and Ansar (supporters from Medina) who were sitting around him all cried. After that, three groups of people (from among the Muhajerin and Ansar) stood up and bade farewell to the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) .

83. Your Virtues Cannot Be Counted

Hasan bin Hamza bin Abdillah narrated from Ahmad bin Al-Hasan Al-Khashab, from Ayyoub bin Nuh, from Abbas, from Amr bin Aban, from Aban bin Taghlab, from Ikrama, from Ibn Abbas, who said:

After returning from the farewell pilgrimage, the Messenger of Allah (S.a.w.w.) said: O people! Jibraeel, the Honest Spirit, came to me from Allah (S.w.t.), the Magnificent, and said, O Mohammad (S.a.w.w.), Allah (S.w.t.) says that he misses seeing you. So prepare a good will and finish what you have to do. O people! My time has come (to an end) and I can see us leaving one another. So if your bodies have left me, do not allow your souls to do the same. O people! Allah (S.w.t.) has never created an immortal prophet, and I am not immortal. Allah (S.w.t.) has said in this verse in the Qur'an, We have not granted to any man before you eternal life. What! if you die, will they live for ever? Every soul shall taste of death"(21:34-35).

62

Understand that my Lord has ordered me to leave a will for you. Understand that my Lord has ordered me to show you to the ark of rescue and the door of sustenance. Those of you who want to survive after me and be safe from the destroying seductions should hold firmly to the Wilayat of Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.). He is the most truthful and the best separator of right from wrong. He is the Imam of every Muslim after me. Those who love him and follow him will be next to me by the Pool of Kawthar on the Day of Judgement. I will see those who disobey him on the Day of Judgement, but they will not see me. They will be pulled towards others who will take them deep into Hell. Then the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) said, O people! I have given you the best advice but you do not like the advisors. I say this and I seek forgiveness for myself and for you. Then he held Ali (A.s.)s head and kissed his forehead. Then the Prophet said to Ali (A.s.), O Ali (A.s.), your virtues cannot be counted. I swear to Allah (S.w.t.), who created the seeds and created people, if all creatures would concede to loving you and understanding your true status, Allah (S.w.t.) would not have created Hell.

84. The Love Of Hazrat Ali (A.s.)

Sahl bin Ahmad bin Abdillah narrated from Mohammad bin Jurair, from Hasan bin Ibrahim AlBaghdadi, from Mohammad bin Yaqoub Al -Imam, from Ahmad Ibn Yahya, from Abdul Rahman Al-Mahdi, from Ibn Abbas, who said:

A man came to the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) and asked him, W ill I benefit from the love of Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.)? The Prophet (S.a.w.w.) replied, I do not know until I ask Jibraeel.

63

So Jibraeel came to the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) immediately. The Prophet (S.a.w.w.) asked him (the above question). Jibraeel replied, I do not know. I have to ask Israfil. So Jibraeel went up and asked Israfil, Will the love for Ali (A.s.) benefit anyone? Israfil replied, I do not know until I speak to my Magnificent Lord. Then Allah (S.w.t.) sent the following revelation to Israfil: Tell those angels trustworthy of My revelation to send My greetings to My love, Mohammad (S.a.w.w.), and tell him that Allah (S.w.t.) sends His Salaam, and tells you that, You are as close to Me as I want you to be. And Ali (A.s.) and I are as close to you as you are to Me. And those who love Ali (A.s.) are as close to Me as Ali (A.s.) is to you.

Allah (S.w.t.) created seventy thousand angels from the light of Ali (A.s.)s face. All they do is seek forgiveness .., for his Shia, and for those who love him until the Day of Judgement.

86. The Winners &The Loosers

Mohammad bin Saeed Abul Faraj narrated from Ahmad bin Mohammad bin Saeed, from Saad bin Turayf Al-Khaffaf, from Saeed bin Jubair, from Ibn Abbas, who said:

The Messenger of Allah (S.a.w.w.) said to Ali (A.s.) :

64

O Ali (A.s.), I am the city of knowledge and you are its door. The city can only be entered through its door. Those who claim that they love me but hate you are lying because you are from me and I am from you: your flesh is my flesh, your blood is my blood, your soul is from my soul, what you hide is what I hide, and what you show is what I show. You are the Imam of my nation and my successor. Those who obey you succeed, and those who disobey you fail. Those who follow you will benefit, and those who are against you will lose. Those who are committed to you are winners, and those who abandon you are losers. You and the Imams after you are like the ark of Nuh. The riders of the ark survived, and those who stayed behind drowned. You are like the stars. Whenever one star disappears, another one appears until the Day of Judgement.

Ahmad bin Mohammad bin Ubaidillah Al-Hafiz narrated from Ali bin Sinan Al-Mousili, from Ahmad bin Mohammad Al-Khalili Al-Amoli, from Mohammad bin Saleh, from Sulaymaan bin Ahmad, from Ziyad bin Muslim, from Abdul Rahman bin Yazid bin Jabir, from Salaam from Abi Salama, who said:

I heard the Messenger of Allah (S.a.w.w.) say: On the night of Meraaj, Allah (S.w.t.) asked me, Did the Messenger believe in what was revealed to him from his Lord? I said, Yes. And the believers believed in Allah (S.w.t.), His angels, His books, and His messengers. Allah (S.w.t.) said, You are right. Then Allah (S.w.t.) asked, Who did you choose as a successor? I said, The best of my nation.
65

Allah (S.w.t.) asked, Do you mean Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.)? I replied, Yes, O Allah (S.w.t.)! Then Allah (S.w.t.) said: O Mohammad (S.a.w.w.)! I looked at all of My creation and I chose you from among all of them. Then I derived a name for you from My name. Therefore, it is not permitted that anyone mention Me without mentioning you with Me. My name is Mahmoud and your name is Mohammad (S.a.w.w.). Then I looked again (at all of My creation) and I chose Ali (A.s.), and I derived a name for him from My name. So My name is Ali, the extremely high, and his name is Ali (A.s.). O Mohammad (S.a.w.w.), I created you, Ali (A.s.), Fatema (S.a.), Hasan (A.s.), Husain (A.s.), and the rest of the Imams from Husain (A.s.)s sons from My own light. Then I asked all of my creation in the skies and the earths to accept your Wilayat. I consider those who accept it as believers, and I consider those who refuse it as Kafers. O Mohammad (S.a.w.w.)! If a slave from among My slaves worships Me until he is torn and nothing is left from him, but he refuses to accept your (S.a.w.w.) Wilayat, Ali (A.s.)s Wilayat, and the Wilayat of the Imams from his sons, I will not accept him or forgive him until he accepts your (S.a.w.w.) Wilayat, Ali (A.s.)s Wilayat, and the Wilayat of the Imam s from his sons (A.s.). Then Allah (S.w.t.) asked me, O Mohammad (S.a.w.w.), would you like to see them? I replied, Yes, O Allah (S.w.t.). Allah (S.w.t.) said, Look to the right of the Throne. Then I looked and I saw Ali (A.s.), Fatema (S.a.), Hasan (A.s.), Husain (A.s.), Ali bin Husain (A.s.), Mohammad bin Ali (A.s.), Jaafar bin Mohammad (A.s.), Musa bin Jaafar (A.s.), Ali bin Musa (A.s.), Mohammad
66

bin Ali (A.s.), Ali bin Mohammad (A.s.), Hasan bin Ali (A.s.), and the Mahdi (A.t.f.s.). They were surrounded by light and they were all standing and praying to Allah (S.w.t.). Mahdi (A.t.f.s.) was in the center and he was shining like a brilliant star. Then Allah (S.w.t.) said: O Mohammad (S.a.w.w.) , they are My decisive proofs, and Mahdi (A.t.f.s.) will take revenge on My behalf. I swear by My Magnificence, he supports My friends and takes revenge on My enemies. Following them and accepting their Wilayat is WAJIB (obligatory) on everyone. With my permission, they prevent the skies from falling on the earth.

88. No One Crosses The Bridge Except

Abu Abdillah Mohammad bin Wahban Al-Hannad narrated from Ahmad bin Ibrahim, from Husain bin Abdillah Al-Zafraani, from Ibrahim bin Mohammad Al-Thaqafi, from Yahya bin Abdil Quddous, from Ali bin Mohammad Al-Taialisi, from Mohammad bin Wakee Al-Jarrah, from Fazeel bin Marzouq, from Atiya Al-Awfai, from Abi Saeed Al-Khodri, who said:

I heard the Messenger of Allah (S.a.w.w.) say: On the Day of Judgement, Allah (S.w.t.) will order two angels to sit on the SIRAAT (the bridge) and guard it. No one will be able to cross the bridge without having a pass issued by Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.). Allah (S.w.t.) will order the two angels to stop those who do not have a pass and ask them about it. If they fail to answer, these angels will throw them into Hell, head first. The Prophet (S.a.w.w.) then referred to this verse from the Quran as evidence,"And stop them for verily they must be questioned" (37:24)

67

Then I asked the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) , O the Messenger of Allah (S.w.t.), may I ransom my father and my mother for you, Please tell me what this pass is?" The Prophet (S.a.w.w.) replied, ." This is what is written on the pass with a very bright light: LA ILAHA ILLALLAH (S.W.T.). MOHAMMADUN RASULULLAH. ALIUN WALIYULLAH.

89. Twelve Thousand Years Before The Creation Of Adam (A.s.)

The judge, Al-Moaafi bin Zakariyya, narrated from Hasan bin Ali Al-Asemi, from Suhaib, from his father, from Jaafar bin Mohammad Al-Sadiq, from his father, from Ali bin Husain, from his father, Husain bin Ali bin Abi Taleb, who said:

The Prophet (S.a.w.w.) was in Um Salma's house when an angel, who had twenty heads, descended upon him. Each one of th e angels heads had one thousand tongues, and he was praising Allah (S.w.t.) with each tongue in a different language. His wings were larger than all of the seven heavens and the seven earths. The Prophet (S.a.w.w.) thought that he was Jibraeel so the Prophet .said to him,I have never seen you in this form. The angel said, I am not Jibraeel. I am Sarsaeel. Allah (S.w.t.) sent me to you to marry the light to the light. Then the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) asked him, Who do you mean? The angel said, Your daughter, Fatema (S.a.), to Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.).

68

So the Prophet married Fatema (S.a.) to Ali (A.s.) with Jibraeel, Mikaeel, Israfil, and Sarsaeel as witnesses. Then the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) looked and saw the following written between the shoulders of Sarsaeel: LA ILAHA ILLALLAH. MOHAMMAD IS THE MESSENGER OF ALLAH (S.W.T.) AND IS THE PROPHET WHO BRINGS MERCY ON PEOPLE. ALI (A.s.) IS THE DECISIVE PROOF THAT ALLAH (S.W.T.) USES ON HIS CREATURES. Then the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) asked Sarsaeel, How long have you had this written between your shoulders? Sarsaeel replied, Twelve thousand years before Allah (S.w.t.) created Adam (A.s.).

90. Allah (S.w.t.)'s Successor

Abul Hasan Ali bin Ahmad bin Motawyh Al-Makri narrated from Ahmad bin Mohammad, from Mohammad bin Ali, from Ali bin Uthman, from Mohammad bin Furat, from Mohammad bin Ali Al-Baqir (5th Imam), from his father (4th Imam), from his grandfather Husain bin Ali, from his father, the Commander of the Believers, who said:

The Messenger of Allah (S.a.w.w.) said: Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.) is Allah (S.w.t.)s successor and my successor. He is Allah (S.w.t.)s decisive proof and he is my decisive proof. He is Allah (S.w.t.)s door (the route to Allah (S.w.t.)) and he is my door. He is Allah (S.w.t.)s chosen one and my chosen one. Allah (S.w.t.) loves him and I love him. He is Allah (S.w.t.)s love and he is my love. He is Allah (S.w.t.)s sword and my sword. H e is my brother, my companion, my minister, and my guardian. Those who love him love me, and those who hate him hate me. His friends are my friends, and his enemies are my enemies. He is my daughters husband and his sons are my sons. His war is my war, his words are my words, and his orders are my orders.
69

He is the master of all the successors of the prophets. He is the best of my nation. He is the master of all the people after me.

91. O Prophet (S.a.w.w.) How Is Ali (A.s.)?

I heard the Messenger of Allah (S.a.w.w.) say: On the night of Meraaj, every time I passed by a group of angels, they asked me about Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.) so often that I started to believe that Ali (A.s.) was more famous in the skies than I was. When I reached the fourth sky, I saw the angel of death. The angel of death asked me, O Mohammad (S.a.w.w.) , how is Ali (A.s.)? I said, O my friend, how do you know Ali (A.s.)? He said, O Mohammad (S.a.w.w.), I am responsible for taking the life of everyone that Allah (S.w.t.) has created except for two beings, that is, your (S.a.w.w.) life and Ali (A.s.)s life, because Allah (S.w.t.) himself will take your lives. Then I reached under ARSH (the Throne) and when I looked up I saw Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.) standing under the Throne of my Lord. I said, O Ali (A.s.), did you race me up here? Then Jibraeel asked me, O Mohammad (S.a.w.w.), to whom are you speaking? I replied, I am talking to my brother, Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.). Jibraeel replied, O Mohammad (S.a.w.w.), this is not Ali (A.s.). This is an angel that Allah (S.w.t.) has created in the shape of Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.).

70

When we (angels) miss Ali bin Abi Taleb (A.s.), we go and look at this angel and seek forgiveness from Allah (S.w.t.) for Ali (A.s.)s Shia.

We were standing with the Messenger of Allah (S.a.w.w.) next to the Kaaba when we saw Ali bin AbiTaleb (A.s.) coming toward us. The Messenger of Allah (S.a.w.w.) said, My brother is coming toward us Then the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) faced the Kaaba and hit it with his hand and said: I swear to the One who has my life in His hand that Ali (A.s.) and his Shia are the winners on the Day of Judgement. Ali (A.s.) was the first to believe in me. Ali (A.s.) is the most loyal to Allah (S.w.t.). Ali (A.s.) is the most serious person in following the orders of Allah (S.w.t.). Ali (A.s.) is the most just with his people. Ali (A.s.) is the fairest divider. Ali (A.s.) has the highest status in Allah (S.w.t.)s eyes. Then the following verse was revealed, Verily, those who believe and do good deeds are the best created beings (98:7).

Those who love us and love our lovers without any regard for their own personal benefit, and those who hate our enemies without any personal reasons, will be forgiven on the Day of Judgement, even if their sins are as great as the sand and foam in the sea.

I was sitting with Mohammad bin Ali (A.s.) when a man came and said Salaam. Mohammad bin Ali (A.s.) replied his Salaam. The man asked, How are you? Mohammad bin Ali (A.s.) replied: Is it not time for you people to know how we are? Our sons are being slaughtered . Our plight is like the example of the Bani Israel who faced similar oppression.

72

Arabs claim that they have a higher status than others. When they are asked for the reasoning (behind their claim), they reply that Mohammad (S.a.w.w.) was an Arab. Quraysh claim that they have a higher status than other Arabs. When they are asked for the reasoning (behind their claim), they reply that Mohammad (S.a.w.w.) was from the Quraysh. If this reasoning is correct, then we have the highest status because we are the family of the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) and we are his progeny, and no one shares this status with us. Then the man said, I swear to Allah (S.w.t.) that I love you, O family of the Prophet (S.a.w.w.) . Mohammad bin Ali (A.s.) replied, Then be prepared for difficulties. I swear to Allah (S.w.t.) that difficulties run toward us and our Shia faster than water that runs in a valley. We face the difficulties of life before you, just as we experience ease before you.

73

The Prophet (S.a.w.w.) replied, Jibraeel told me that Ali (A.s.) and his Shia are the foremost in Paradise and they will be honoured and brought nearest to Allah (S.w.t.) .

I heard the Messenger of Allah (S.a.w.w.) say, Those who fight me dur ing my time and fight me during the time of my family will be resurrected with Dajjal. My family is like the ark of Nuh; those who board it will survive, and those who stay behind will drown. Al-Jaafari, and Ziyad bin Jaafar bin Hajib, from Mohammad bin Qasem Al-Moharebi, from Hasan bin Mohammad bin Abdul Wahid, from Harb bin Hasan Al-Talhan, from Yahya bin Mosaver, from Bashir Al-Nabbal, who said:

74

I bought an extremely weak camel. Some people told me I could not ride it, while others said that I could. I travelled toward Medina. I walked part of the way and I rode the camel part of the way. When I arrived in Medina, my face, my hands, and my legs were worn out. I went to the house of Mohammad bin Ali Al-Baqir (A.s.) and told the servant to ask that I be granted permission to enter the house. But Mohammad bin Ali (A.s.) heard my voice and said, Come in, O Bashir! Welcome, O Bashir. What has happened to you? I replied, May I sacrifice my life for you. I bought an extremely weak camel so I had to walk part of the distance here. Mohammad bin Ali (A.s.) asked, And what made you do this? I replied, May I sacrifice my life for you. Your love made me do this.Mohammad bin Ali (A.s.) said: On the Day of Judgement, the Messenger of Allah (S.a.w.w.) will take refuge with Allah (S.w.t.) , and we will take refuge with the Messenger of Allah (S.a.w.w.), and you people will take refuge with us. So where do you think we will lead you? I swear to the Lord of the Kaaba that we will lead you to Paradise. I swear to the Lord of the Kaaba that we will lead you to Paradise.

99. The Clay From Paradise And The Clay From Hell
W.P.S: Ahmad bin Mohammad bin Isa, from Mohammad bin Khalid, from Fazalah, from AbiBaseer, from Mohammad bin Ali (A.s.), who said:

We and our Shia were created from the clay that is from the highest places in Paradise. Our enemies were created from the clay of KHABAAL (the juice in the lowest place of Hell) and ...from sounding day, from black mud moulded into shape (15:26).

100. I Am The Party Of Allah (S.w.t.)

The knowledgeable scholar Abu Ali Hasan bin AbiJaafar Al-Tousi, narrated from his blessed father Abu Jaafar Mohammad bin Hasan Al-Tousi, from the scholar Abu AbdillahMohammad bin Mohammad bin Noman, from AbulQasemJaaafar bin Mohammad, f rom his father, from Saad bin Abdullah, from Ahmad bin Mohammad bin Isa, from Safwan bin Yahya, from Yaqoub bin Shoaib, from Saleh bin Maitham Al-Tammar, from Maitham Al-Tammar, who said:

We spent one night with the Commander of the Believers, Ali bin AbiTaleb (A.s.) , and he said: Every slave of Allah (S.w.t.) who believes in Him finds our love in his heart, and every slave whom Allah (S.w.t.) resents (because of their disbelief) hates us. We are happy for those who love us, and we know those who hate us. The days of those who love us are passing while waiting and expecting the Mercy of Allah (S.w.t.). But the days of those who hate us are passing while they are building their houses on the brink of Hell. And it is as if the houses of those who hate us are collapsing into Hell, while the doors of mercy are open to those who love us. So those of you who love us - enjoy mercy. And those of you who hate us - enjoy Hell. If a slave does not neglect our love, it is because of the good that Allah (S.w.t.) has placed in his heart. If you love those who hate us then you do not love us, because our love and the love for those who hate us cannot be placed in the same heart. Allah (S.w.t.) says, Allah (S.w.t.) has not made for any man two hearts in his breast (33:4). Therefore, you do not have two hearts to love: one heart devoted to our love and another heart devoted to the love of our enemies. Therefore, those who love us are pure with our love just like pure gold.

76

We are the noble ones and our children are the children of the prophets. I am the successor of all the successors, and I am the party of Allah (S.w.t.) and His Messenger (S.a.w.w.). The group of Shaytan are the oppressors. Those of you who want to know if you love us should test your hearts. If you find the love of those who incite hatred toward us in your heart, know that Allah (S.w.t.),Jibraeel, and Mikaeel are your enemies, and that Allah (S.w.t.) is the enemy of the disbelievers.
