use of technologic apparatuses like computers and cell phones allows criminals to do their crime from home instead of actually going out on the public and robbing banks for example. Individuals are able to gather information from bank customers who use online banking and utilize it to purchase their own needs and wants. Many of these crimes even involve child pornography and terrorism through the network. The Florida Computer Crime Center (FC3) is one of the few agencies who have been trying to prevent this crime. This could of interest because delinquents will be able to get caught without actually having seeing them in action. Florida Computer Crime Center Characteristics The groups and individuals who are involved in this community include James T. Moore (former Commissioner of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), and a focus group of the FDLE. Law enforcement agencies, cyber criminals, and even the victims of the crimes could be considered as a secondary audience. The FC3 was officially ordained and established in July of 1998 in order to have a broad range of services that included criminal investigations and advanced computer forensic services. This organizations mission is to investigate elaborate computer crimes, assist with regional investigations, train investigators, advertise information to the public, and attempt to identify computer criminals to avoid future crimes. The agency is known for training future investigators which other agencies dont do. This is the one unique characteristic that distinguishes this organization from others who are similar to it. The way of communication amongst themselves is by personal cell phones and face to face in the FC3 headquarters office. If one is not part of this agency or a victim and wants to get in touch may do so by accessing the official website, sending an email, calling the office telephone number, and faxing. They do not use blogs or social networks of any kind because they believe it is not secure for this type of organizations. If this organization had to somehow communicate on public sites or networks, the type of tone and language that would be utilized would be unique secret codes that are only comprehensive among themselves since this is a crime stopper agency. The first crime began 3.5 billion years ago when the first amoeba was able to snatch a food morcel from another amoeba. Billions of years after the occurrence of that event, things have gotten much more serious. In the past couple of decades, computer crimes have become popular and this is why Commissioner James T. Moore and his FDLE group decided to bring together this organization so that the crime diminishes. The motivation of the volunteers and future investigators of this community to support this agency is the fact that many of them have already been victims of this crime. By supporting agencies concerning this topic, one can reduce computer-related abominations. The criminal population keeps increasing and there are not enough agencies to deal with every villainous individual in the planet. Spreading the word and advertising constantly will increase the volunteer and investigator population. By accomplishing these tasks, cyber crime mobsters will drastically diminish and crime will gradually fade away.
