Aton as the New Dean of Cebuano Media Commentators

Resolution No. 28 Series of 2013

WHEREAS, The Sugbuanong Komentaristang Nagpakabana, a group of concerned media cebuano radio commentators, an organization duly established in accordance with the rules of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) with a registration No. CN093-000311 and is recognized by law as an artificial person given certain legal rights and duties as a human being. WHEREAS, The Sugbuanong Komentaristang Nagpakabana is exercising basic human rights guaranteed under the constitution of the Republic of the Philippines, the Constitutional right to expression or the Freedom of Expression and is providing the public with basic information on matters of public concern as wherefore provided in Article III, Section 7 of the 1987 Philippine Constitution which reads, thus; The right of the people to information on matters of public concern shall be recognized. Access to official records, and to documents and papers pertaining to official acts, transactions, or decisions, as well as to government research data used as basis for policy development, shall be afforded the citizen, subject to such limitations as may be provided by law. WHEREAS, The Sugbuanong Komentaristang Nagpakabana throughout the years since it was established never fails to recognized members who have done a great contribution in carrying out its mission and vision, denouncing human rights violations, expose corrupt public officials and fight alongside with the people to put an end to graft and corruption. WHEREAS, The Sugbuanong Komentaristang Nagpakabanain the past acknowledged and recognized Atty. Miguel Migz Enriquez a radio commentator of DYFX as the Dean of Cebuano Media Commentators. WHEREAS, since the death of Atty. Miguel Migz Enriquez, The Sugbuanong Komentaristang Nagpakabana never did acknowledge anyone to replace the deceased Dean of Cebuano Media Commentators, leaving the position vacant. WHEREAS, Past SUKNA President Edison Rey Batiquin moved on a general membership meeting to acknowledge and recognize Mr. Miguel Mike Mercedes Cerna Aton as the NEW DEAN OF CEBUANO MEDIA COMMENTATORS. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that on mass motion by the past President Edison Rey Batiquin seconded by Ret. Police Major Marietta De Egurrola in a general membership meeting held at DYRB Radio Corporation of the Philippines, Cebu on February 16, 2013 with no objection, The Sugbuanong Komentaristang Nagpakabana (SUKNA Inc.), adopt this resolution to ACKNOWLEDGE and RECOGNIZE Miguel Mike Mercedes Cerna Aton, a veteran radio commentator and a pioneering member of SUKNA as the NEW DEAN OF CEBUANO MEDIA COMMENTATORS. RESOLVED FURTHER to furnish a copy of this resolution to all members of SUKNA.
